"Thank you, I will inform the Prime Minister."

"Prime Minister, moments ago, the Battlehawk Fleet near the Wolf Hold launched over 200 F/A 28 Talons."
"That means the attack is beginning."
"Yes sir. What should we do."
"Hmm, I will have to consider joining. We can't stay in a neutral role forever."

Governments of nations involved, primarily the Battlehawk government and Wolf Hold government,

We have been observing the situation, and after conferring with the Battkehawk, we have indeed been convinced that Wolf Hold was involved in this. Although they did not spread slanderous lies as the government of Daniel's Island did, they did try to escape from justice, trying to deny their involvement in the death of innocent lives. We already have a history of disagreement with Wolf Hold over the Comorostan - Philippiniada conflict, and now we have decided to take down the annoyance of a nation once and for all. We will not inflict harsh punishment on innocent civilians, and we are generally fair people. When we rule your lands you will be happy it is not the GWO or Stoklomolvi [No offense guys, this is just propaganda]. We will take a peace of your land, whether or not the Battlehawk wants it. And when we get it, we'll rub it in what's left of your government's face.

With hope,

John Halfas
Minister of International Affairs

(Fluid Time): Several hours before the Battlehawk jets took off, a DT Concord jet departed the capitol of Agrabah and soon leapt to supersonic speeds, crossing the ocean in excellent time. It slowed to cruising speed as it neared the Wolf Holds coast but made no communication. A message from the Sultan preceeded it:

TO: The Armed Republic of the Wolf Hold
FROM: The Sultan of the Sacrosanct Un-Holy Sultanate of Deserted Territories

In recent times, a misunderstanding has made us enemies. Attacks were exchanged, declarations of war made and so on. I fully planned to follow up on that declaration, but it seems some other people have beaten me to the punch. Nevertheless, my interest in the relationship between our nations is not subdued, merely changed. In the past handfull of days your fair country has seen many flock to attack you, which has put me off from 'jumping on the dogpile.'

Instead, I have sent a courrier on a jet that should be arriving very shortly. It will not make any communications and should you decide to let it land you'll find that courrier the only passenger and his only luggage a hard copy of a proposal. It is one of mutual peace, understanding, and aid. Should you accept the terms it lays out, you can be assured the full power of the Deserted Territories will stand behind you and your allies, with the exception of Daniel's Island (I still feel his attacks on our ships in the foremost conflict were unwarrented and frankly: unforgiveable).

Should you not wish to hear this proposal at this time, do not hesitate to turn the jet away. It will be waiting always for your slightest communication untill you think better of that descision. The forces of this world are stacked heavily against you. Mighty or no, your nation cannot survive a combined onslaught. Think it over, we may become friends yet.

"Approaching Deserted Territories Courier Aircraft, set heading to 203-456 continue untill you are met by 2 WHAF Eurofighters, you will follow their directions untill you reach Bagram Airbase, where a escort will be waiting to escort your courier to the Fang. Any atempt to change from the course set down by the WHAF will result in the imediate destruction of your aircraft. This is your first and last warning!" The Controller relayed the message twice before turning his attention back to the developing situation with the Battlehawk Air Force.

As the message said, the plane did not respond. The Co-Pilot toggled his mike a couple times to acknowledge they'd recieved the transmission and altered course to follow the instructions.

In the back, the courier sat patiently. A lean, wiry man he came dressed in a close-fitted tan suit and slacks. A black pair of handcuffs attached him to his charge, a brown leather briefcase that held the Sultan's proposal.

Bagram Airbase

It was clear that the Wolf Hold was at war. The Airbase was a hive of activity, aircraft with missiles and bombs already attached sat on the tarmac awaiting a pilot to jump in a get them in the air. Challenger 2s, M1A2 Abrams, T-84 Yagatans and multiple other vehicles could be seen on the tarmac and around the base buildings. As the Deserted Territories Jet approached the only runway not blocked by tanks, two Challenger 2s, a Black BMW SUV and 4 Police Vixen Armored Landrovers pulled onto the tarmac awaiting the Deserted Terriotries Jet.

The Valladar News informs:

Tonight, the first 5 warships departed Valladares towards the war, with 500 sailors and 100 soldiers (including volunteers). The ships road to the war were the following ones:

Armoured Morgan

Battleship Drake

Aircraft carrier Victory

Destructor Valladar Star

Frigate Tannenberg

The Government of Valladares has requested the help of its allies in this trip and therefore, requests that the nation of The Wolf Hold or any ally offers supplies and refuge to the Royal Navy.

The Concord taxied to the waiting vehicles and turned off its engines, the small crew going about their buisiness to prepare the jet to depart as soon as all was taken care of. The courrier finished the glass of seltzer he had been enjoying, unbuckled his seat belt and stood to exit.

As he descended the steps to the tarmac, the chain securing the briefcase clicked against itself. Within the locked case, the agreement that the courrier would only reveal to someone in the Wolf Hold who could make a decision carried some strings. The Deserted Territories was no fool and wouldn't give away assistance to an enemy for nothing. After all they had nothing to lose, they weren't being invaded.

But the Wolf Hold was, and it was distressing to the Deserted Territories that its enemies had shown up when the trouble started, some even mentioning DT. So the agreement The Sultan presented had some terms to go with it.

For the Deserted Territories to enter into an alliance with the Wolf Hold:
First, the Wolf Hold must break all ties and trading relations with enemies of the Corporate Alliance including, but not limited to, members of the Hegemony, GASN, ADAN (and any of their reincarnations).
Second, the Wolf Hold must enter into exclusive trading agreements with the Deserted Territories, the Griffencrest Corporation, and all members of the Corporate Alliance to account for one quarter of their national oil, natural gas and other non-renewable fuel trade.
Third, the Wolf Hold must enter into a seperate economic agreement with the Deserted Territories to mutually benefit both nations and ensure the tenacity of the bond to be formed between the two nations.
Fourth, the Wolf Hold must issue an apology for engaging elements of the Deserted Territories' Navy and condemn their actions in said crisis.
Fifth, the Wolf Hold must provide land to construct a military base in their nation equal to or greater than the 10 square mile plot laid out for them in western Deserted Territories.
Sixth, the Wolf Hold must appropriate D$10,000 Dimes (~= $12,813 USD) to cover the food, clothing, shelter, and deportation of Daniels Island criminals of war captured from DI.21 ARK.

The terms are non-negotiatioble though quite fair considering the Wolf Hold's position.

[OoC; Only five ships? Easy meat ^.^]

In order to stop naval supplies and reinforcements from reaching the ports of Wolf Hold, the easily plugged bay that contained most of Wolf Hold's naval ports was blockaded by the few forces that had arrived from Heirosoloa. As soon as news of Valladares' ships coming into the bay reached the blockade, some of the aircraft carriers present launched six F-35 Lightnings to hinder and hopefully destroy them in case they were too powerful for the general blockade. The aircraft soared over the ocean, heading towards the easily found convoy of ships, immediately firing two Harpoons at the close, all of which were directed at the aircraft carrier or the frigate in hopes of destroying the greatest threat.

Cold stares from the Wolf Legion Commando's that were waiting for the courrier, their MR-Cs held at the ready and the meanacing Challenger 2 Main Battle Tanks stood vigilant over the scene. A black uniformed Colonel stepped out from behind the SUV and opened the door, beconing to the Deserted Territorys courrier to get in. The Wolf Legion Commandos held their Rifles a bit tighter as the scene played out, each ready to drop the courrier with a bullet at a moments notice.

As the two parties stared each other down the two Eurofighters landed on another runway and Bagram airbase seemed to continue as normal complelty igonoring the scene playing out on its central runway.

Gun Control, Fort Foxmount

"Sir, Heirosoloaian ships have entered the bay mouth, should we unmask the guns?" Asked one of the fire co-ordinators. "No hold fire for the moment they seem to of forgot about us. Although put the AShMs pointing in the right direction but keep the Radars offline." THe Fort Commodre walked over to his main set broadcaster and asked for his counter part at their sister fort across they bay. "Fort Thoran Fire Control come in...."
"Fort Thoran here.."
"Fort Thoran we are about to open up on those foolish Heirosoloaian ships down their, care to assist? We aleady have our AShMs ready and the 12 inch Naval guns loaded"
"Roger that, Fort Foxmount give us 5 minutes"

5 Minutes later.....

"Fort Foxmount Reports ready!" Yelled out a radio operator from his behind his set. "Activate Target aquisiton RADAR! Fire at Will! Unmask Naval guns and launch AShMs!" The Commodore for Fort Foxmount ordered.

Lupus Bay Entrance

The two grey walled forts that had been slightly camoflaged against the overcast sky suddenly light up as the BrahMosII launchers rotated on their launcher mounts and following the co-ordinates given to them by their targeting computers the cruise missiles shot from the fort at the largest Heirosoloaian ships. The 60 crusie missiles launched from the two forts reached a speed of Mach 3 before continuing to accelerate to its top speed of Mach 5.2. If that wasn't enough for the Heirosoloaian the 6, 12 Inch Naval guns of both forts deployed out of concelaed positions and beagn droping heavy shells on thier fleet.

What's the point of such fast missiles against such close targets? They would hit anyway >.>]

"Sir, missile defense systems can probably deal with some of the cruise missiles, but the shells are-" an explosion rocked the ship, and the aide stumbled, nearly falling over. The admiral smiled, then nodded for him to continue. "The shells are doing some serious damage. The closest ships are being decimated sir, they've reported that the have tried to return fire, but the shelling and cruise missiles are tearing them apart." Another explosion rocked the ship, and the admiral grunted.

"Distract them with some aircraft, and reroute the stealth bombers we were going to use to bomb the ports to bomb the forts. Tell them to return fire while getting out of range. And I want most of our aircraft distracting them as well. Until the rest of the fleet gets here, it's better to risk aircraft than ships."

"What about the bombers that just left?" The aide inquired, stumbling as another minor explosion rocked the boat.

"They're not bombers, and they can stay out past nine today. Give them a warning to complete the mission as fast as possible, and get back here." The admiral spoke gruffly, and nodded when he was done, signaling for the aide to leave.

"Yes sir." The aide stammered, obviously restless because of the shelling. The man hurried off quickly, stumbling again when another shell actually hit close to the ships.

(OOC: Is it a problem? Not personally, no. The Confederacy is cool. As for the Corporate Alliance, one of DT's conditions was that you break ties with nations/alliances against the Corporate Alliance, such as the Hegemony. As one of ODECON's members is the founder of the Hegemony, I think that I would certainly fall in that category, hence why I gave you the chance to recall your Ambassador and staff, should you go with DT, and comply with the CA's enslavement... er, demands... er, "friendship pact."

The only real reasons why I got involved with the Battlehawk vs. Daniels Island/Wolf Hold RP in the first place were to get a shot at Valladares, and to get some payback for Four Heatons. I'm going to focus on the Daniels Island theater, since I believe the nations currently involved here can manage a country of 8 million. No offense, it's just a question of population, defense budget, equipment and troop training.

Just so you know, there's bad blood between the CSS and the Corporate Alliance. If you were thinking about joining both, it would probably be a bad idea.)

OOC: Yes, I remember. My rationale is that:
A.) The Battlehawk is Four Heaton's brother, so it's only fair he gets the main shot at you, and

B.) The Battlehawk alone is 100 times larger than you, so any forces I commit would simply add to the dogpile.

Instead, I can go after the bigger nations, like Philippiada and Valladares, which would do a lot more for the pro-Battlehawk Coalition than landing a half million Marines on your shores.

The courrier smoothed a wrinkle from his jacket and pushed the front closed. He held a wry yet neutral look on his face. Not belying any emotions but clearly amused at his overly-serious reception. He walked slowly and deliberatly to the car and steped inside, closing the door behind him before anyone else could do it for him.

Meanwhile, a U-2 spyplane was just crossing over the Wolf Hold high and silent. The pilot took a few snapshots of the airbase the Concord had touched down and located the plane, as well as the reception party and the courrier as he made his way to the car.

The plane banked in in a wide, shallow turn to start following the car from high above.

OOC: Mmmmm...It seems that someone wants to receive a declaration of war. Look Salzland, my hand doesn't tremble to declare war in your nation if you continue with your provocations. The last paragraph clearly is a PROVOCATION to Valladares. So that, you are warned.

Bagram Airbase, The Wolf Hold

Whilst the Courrier had got into the SUV the convoy had not moved. They were awaiting the order from Fang Command. Either to escort the courrier to the Fang or to execute him. The Wolf Legion Commando's showed no sign or nerves or any other emotion, they stood around stoic faced. In the meantime to ensure the concord would stay put the two challenger 2 tanks rolled infront of it, blocking the runway and pointing their main guns at the plane. The Wolf Legion Colonel then suddenly looked serious as his headset sqwaked an he recived a message from Fang Central Command. With a few quick handsignals the driver and passenger of the SUV abandoned the vehicle and joined the line of Commandos that had formed by the side of it. As one they raised their MR-Cs to their shoulders and unloaded the 50 round box magazine of caseless rounds into the SUV.

WAR COMMUNIQUÉ #001

Due to the current state of war and which the forces pro-Battlehawk threaten the integrity of the country, the Constitutional Monarchy of Valladares has decided:

1. The sending of the Royal Armies #3 and #4 to The Wolf Hold nation, in order to safeguard its integrity. Each of these armies possesses approximately 800.000 military men, with aptitude to realize surprise assaults on the enemy troops.

2. Due to the fact that the capital city of Valladares, Metropolis, can be a potential target of enemy assaults thanks to its strategic location, all the governmental entities, including the Ministries, the Parliament, the Prime Minister and the foreign Embassies will be moved by safety reasons to the city of Tannenberg, which will be the provisional capital of the country during the war.

3. The King and the Royal family will be moved out of the city of Metropolis. For safety reasons, the exact place won't be revealed.

4. The defensive forces of the nation will be composed by 4.5 million of men, 133 planes of combat, 446 tanks and 90 warships. Before the imminent invasion on the part of the nation of Salzland, it's necessary to deploy this massive number of troops, principally in the Amazonian Front and around the cities of Metropolis and Tannenberg.

OOC: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! You give me laugh, knew it?

Apparently you forgot the destroyer, and according to news of the Admiral Sanchez, 5 air missiles were directed against your air fleet and knocked down a plane each one. I have many secret weapons...be careful.

FINAL BATTLE RESULT:

5 Heirosoloan aircraft units knocked down as birds
0 Valladar navy units destroyed (the frigate and aircraft carrier avoided the assault )

P.D: Nuclear cruisers King Alexander, Amazon, Independence and Baragüez were sent to the Wolf Hold's coast. The party scarcely begins...

From: Office of the Minister of Defense, Salzland

To Whom It May Concern,

Following the declaration of war levied upon the Armed Republic by the nation of Valladares, we are announcing the immediate deployment of the Tenth and Eleventh Fleets to the region. Salzland forces are deploying to ensure that the Valladares military does not interfere in ongoing operations led by a coalition including the nations of Void Templar and The Battlehawk, following an attack on The Battlehawk by the nations of Daniels Island and Wolf Hold. We are acting fully within our rights to aid our allies in this endeavor.

Should the nation of Valladares withdraw its declaration of war against all Coalition parties, including but not limited to the nations of Void Templar, The Battlehawk and the Armed Republic of Salzland, and agree to not intervene in operations against Wolf Hold and Daniels Island, Salzland forces will be recalled. Until such time, it falls upon us to take any and all actions necessary to protect our allies and prosecute this war to a victorious conclusion.

Among a frigate, an aircraft carrier and a destroyer...which is more dangerous? The destroyer, certain? Then, why you dedicated yourself to "play" with the simplest thing and complicated yourself with the most dangerous ship? If I had planned this assault, my priority aim had been the destroyer. Learn to plan your military battles first and later you can launch an assault.

The courrier was killed quickly, his suit, the briefcase and the proposal torn to shreds by the bullets. But with his last act, he reached into his breast pocket and removed a small purple envelope emblazoned with the image of the DT flag (http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt191/desertedterritories/deserted_territories.jpg). Inside was a white card with two lines of text:
You'll regret that.

~Got Oil?~

In the cockpit of the Concord the pilots, two civilians, watched in horror as the soldiers opened fire on the car.
"Holy shit," cursed the pilot. "Stewardess, secure the door please," he said to the only other crewmember. She quickly yet calmly reached out of the plane, grasped the door and swung it shut, securing the latch when she had finished. Then she returned to her seat and straped in.

"And could you secure our door?" the pilot asked the co-pilot who complied and locked the door to the cockpit as the pilot retrieved the onboard firearm from a safe. "Shit, we're gonna die. I knew this was a bad idea. Shit, shit, SHIT!" he screamed. "What are we gonna do?"

"I don't know," the co-pilot replied, more in shocked awe than fear. "Should I start the pre-takeoff checklist?"
"Uh,... yeah. Don't turn the engines on yet though," the pilot said, eyeing the tank out the front window.
"What are we supposed to do?" asked the co-pilot.
"I don't know."
"Do we just sit here or..."
"I don't know."
Nobody had prepared the crew for this.

There was a quite knock on the cockpit door. The two men exchanged glances. The co-pilot opened the door, the pilot raised the pistol. The stewardess walked in, face streaked with mascara and tears. She had used up all her composure to close the planes door and had broken down in her seat. "Can I sit in here with you?" she said, voice broken with sobs.
The two men nodded together and she sat in an extra fold-down seat, locking the door behind her as the pilots went about their business.

Overhead the pilot of the U-2 wasn't as surprised to see the soldiers pump the car and the courrier full of bullets, having been briefed on the possibility. He sent word back immediatly but stayed on station.

The message made its way to Deserted Territories and then back to a fishing boat in Port Palla. It was one of the many listening posts that infiltrated the waters of many nations around the world (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=558899). Everytime a conflict arose with a particular nation, special action was taken to ensure a vessel found itself in that nations waters. It had been no different with the Wolf Hold.

Onboard the fishing vessel were 5 men, all trained saboteurs and discret agents of DT's will. All scraggly, dressed as fishermen, and for all intents and purposes actually fishermen. They set sail, caught the local staple, and returned to port with their goods. All the while antennas and other equipment hidden in their out riggers and secret compartments in their holds. Everytime they set out to sea they relayed a report on everything they'd intercepted. Right now the ship sat seemingly abandoned, the agents having receeded below decks to hide when the invasion came on to avoid being evacuated by the Wolf Hold military.

The most brief and discret signal reached their equipment, pains having been taken to avoid its interception or even notice. It carried the vaguest warning about the events transpiring with the courrier. The lead agent, a man by the name of Erastus, copied down the message and moved to the cabin where his men were sitting playing cards, passing the time.

He sat and picked up his hand and a ciger he had been enjoying. "What'd I miss?"
"I turned over the River and Benny raised 75 cents," came the response. "I'm out."
"Me too," said another.
"Me three," the last chimed in.
"You three are fools," Erastus said as he counted out 75 cents. "Benny is clearly bluffing."
"What makes you say that?"
"Benny always bluffs," Erastus replied throwing his money in. "I call."
"You clearly don't know me that well," Benny said with a smile on his face as he put his cards down. "Three of a kind," he said laying out two fives to go with the one that had appeared a few moments ago.
"I know you well enough," Erastus said and revealed his straight. "Now as your punishment for being so cocky go shovel out the weapons locker."
"What?" Benny asked, the others raising their eyebrows in surprise and anticipation.
"You heard me," he reached behind him to the wall and handed Benny the shovel. "There's a bit of a situation out there."

As Benny started to shovel through a solid foot and a half of ice packed with fish to get to the false panel that held the crews weapons and combat equipment, Erastus clued the other agents in on the unfolding situation.

After unloading into the SUV at the signal of the Colonel a commando threw a incendiary grenade inside the SUVs husk, uppon the detonation of the grenade the SUV was consumed in flames. Watching the SUV burn for a moment the Wolf Legion Colonel flicked the transmitt switch on his radio. "Back up all units, we need to deal with the plane, mount vehicles, rifles aimed at the cockpit. We will leave this to the Challengers" Following his orders the 20 Wolf Legion Commandos, slowly boarded their Vixen Landrovers and reversed them back up the runway, with one commando maning the GPMG mounted on top of the vehicles. Following the Vixens the Challanger 2s reversed up the runway keeping their 120mm guns focused on the cockpit. After the soft armored Vixens had reached a safe distance the Colonel Radioed the Challengers. "Okay... destroy them" A double tap on the radio signalled the Challengers recogniton of the command.

Inside the Challanger 2 they were moments away from firing.
"Target Aquired!" The Gunner called out
"Load HESH" Cried the Tank Commander
"HESH UP! The Loader Replied
"3....2....1....FIRE!" Yelled the Commander.

The gun on the first Challenger recoiled as the 120mm HESH round went heading striaght towards the Concords Cockpit.

(OOC: Vall, should we do a separate thread? It would be poor form to attempt to fight two different theaters of war in the same thread.)

Edit: Also, 72 Aircraft Carriers? That's a little much for a nation with a Defense budget of approximately $600 Billion. The United States, for example, maintains (I believe) 13 carriers with a similar budget. And is there somewhere that I can see statblocks for your vessels, so that I have some idea of the capabilities of, for example, a "Morgan-class Armoured," a "UTN-class Battle Vessel," or, really, any of your ships and aircraft? Because I have no idea what several of your ships and aircraft even are, let alone what they can do, and searches of NS shipyards and even Google failed to turn up anything. No offense intended, but I do not feel like participating in a Role Play where ships and aircraft gain new capabilities as the RP develops.

To be fair, I have updated my ORBAT with links for all of the NS-designed ships I'm using, and I will continue providing links to NS-designed materials as the need arises.

Thanks in advance.

With Shells from the Fleet raining down on the two Wolf Hold forts the Talons changed heading and headed towards port Palla. Arming their Anti-ship missiles, they locked onto the Wolf Hold fleet that was docked there. The First Salvo of 90 missiles was aimed firmly at the Wolf Hold Aircraft carrier. The Second-90-missile salvo soared towards Battleships.

High above the Wolf Hold.

Four Battlehawk Airforce B60, Longrange Tactical Bombers, flew over the Wolf Hold, with their escort of Eight F28 Talons. There destination was Port Palla Navel Base. They were coming into Range.

Fort Foxmount and Thoran
As the shells landed in and around the two forts, ammo trucks went up in flames and troops were blown into little tiny lumps of flesh. However the main offensive capabilites of the Forts were untouched. With the BrahMos II launchers reloaded and the 16inch Naval guns switched their targets to the Battlehawk Cruisers, both forts began firing uppon the Battlehawk navy. The salvo of 60 BrahMos II missiles accelerating towards them at almost 6 times the speed of sound and the acompying bombardment by the Naval Guns tore towards the Battlehawk fleet. The Rapier AA batterys also fired one last parting Salvo at the withdrawing aircraft, a total of 100 Rapier AA missiles.

Port Palla Navy Base
"Attention this is the Flag, activate CIWS systems, hostile AShMs inbound!" The Voice of Admiral Evans difted over the the speakers of the 2nd Fleet, after his voice faded from the speakers. The Claxons on the dockyards and on the ships began to Wail. The 37 ships of the 2nd Fleet turned their CIWS systems to the skys, supported by the countless SAM batterys on the dockside. The missiles were met by a huge amount of flak, cannon shells and counter battery missiles.

Wolf Mountain AFB
"This is Air Defense command, All aircraft Scramble, Scramble, Scramble!" The message was repeated over and over again as 50 F-15Es of the WHAF began to lift off from the airbases 4 runways. They immeditaly hit their afterburners for Port Palla.

Fort Foxmount and Thoran

The Water splashed as the returning fire fired towards them. The Prow of one of the ships went up in an explosion as a round it.
"Accelerate to full ahead, lets make it harder for the guns to hit" The Cruiser group CO ordered as teh CIWS system activvated and fired on the incoming missiles, one of the out frigates was hit by a missile that got through the system.

Port Palla Navy Base

The Talons danced through the sky as they launched countermeasures against the SAM's. Eight talons were shot down by the SAM fire. Firing anohter Salvo of Harpoons at the enemy ships.

The B60's were over their target, and they began to systematicly bomb the Navel base, being careful not to hit the Civvilian town. 280,000 pounds of High explosive bombs were raining down on the navel base and the ships docked. With their payload deployed they headed out of the area. Their escorts followed them.

AWAC's "Checkmate"

"Attention all aircraft, new contacts, eagles, second wave, snap to headed 280 and engage" Checkmate ordered. 50 aircraft of the second wavy flew high, at the very edge of their ceiling, on an intercept for the F-15#s.

The arial photos of the clearly marked DT civilian Concord jet being fired on by Wolf Hold tanks made the evening news in Deserted Territories and soon the people were united against the Wolf Hold. Some politicians called for blood including one alderman who happened to be engaged to the stewardess who was killed. He managed to stir up enough fervor in one of the more easily swayed districts of the capitol that the Sultan had no choice than to dispatch the fleet he had already organized to rain vengence on the Wolf Hold.

Aptly named the Pre-Invasion Softening Fleet, it was built around 30 of a newly designed ship the Deserted Territories had personally contracted. The ship was the Sycophant Class Rocket Monitor, a sidewall hovercraft designed to fill the single roll of shore bombardment. Each ship was capable of unleashing its full compliment of 200 122mm rockets in 30 seconds and reaching a top speed of 55 knots.

Accompanying them were four Division Class Arsenal ships to deter any counter-attacks. Each of the arsenal ships were escorted by four Ticonderoga class cruisers to provide additional fleet structure and ensure that a controlling vessel was always attached to the automated arsenal ships.

As the fleet made for the blockade surrounding the Wolf Hold, a supply line of Slim-class cargo ships, escorted by FFG-7 frigates, streched out behind them to supply the monitors with an endless supply of rockets.

Abord the DTS Mirage, one of the cruisers named after a DT port, the Admiral of this fleet had engaged the Wolf Hold before. After his previous fleet had ben doused in nuclear waste from the reactor of a sunken WH submarine, it put into port for repairs and decontanimation. Admiral Montcalm managed to aquire a reassignment to the next fleet heading for WH.

He sent a message to the Batttlehawk forces already at the battle:
"Whatever you havn't destroyed by the time we arrive, we'll take care of."

"... Forts, bases, office buildings, schools, hospitals, playgrounds, you name it," Montcalm added to himself before hitting 'Send.' The rockets in the launchers and holds of his ships would level every structure in the Wolf Hold they could reach indiscriminently.

In the fishing boat in Port Palla, Erastus recieved the second transmission noting the WH had murdered the emissary and the crew of the plane he had arrived in. "Oh well," he sighed. "I'll let Benny finish scraping out those weapons anyways."

OOC: There are no civillian airstrips, my nation is a complelty militirised nation. Also I am going to forgive the utter under estimation in the BrahMos II capabilites

Fort Foxmount and Fort Thoran
The forts continued their heavy barrage of fire and they began reloading the missiles. Suddenly a large explosion erupted from Fort Thoran as a enemy shell managed to set off a 16inch shell in one of the gun housings. The resulting explosion took out the 16inch guns and left the BrahMos II launchers in ruins. With Fort Thoran out of commison central command knew that they couldn't deny the entrance to Lupus bay for much longer. However the loss of their sister fort sent the men manning Fort Foxmount into a frenzy, they quickend the reloads on the 16inch Naval guns and reloaded the BrahMos II launchers even quicker. The AShMs sped out of their launchers and reached theri top speed of Mach 5.4 clasong the distance with the Battlehawk fleets in seconds.

Port Palla Navy Base
All but 2 of the hostile AShMs were shot down by the CIWS systems, these 2 AShMs slammed into a dockside tender acting as a decoy by enlarging its Radar signature. The tender began to list and slowly sink. The bombs began not only landing on the Port Palla Navy base but the bombs also began inflicting heavy casulties on the civillian city and shipping. However some bombs managed to sink 2 Oliver Hazard Perry Class Frigates and also managed to heavil damage the Superbattleship dry dock. This fire didn't deter the heavy amount of SAM and AAA fire the Port was putting up. Finaly the gunners in the civillian part of the city had woken up and began to fire large amounts of Triple A fire into the sky.

AWACS Ghost Eye
"Attention All Air Defense command aircraft, Battlehawk aircraft on high level intercept course. Increase speed and engage from below! Show them the skill of are great nation!" The AWACS controller relayed to all the F-15Es, however he knew the odds were against them, so he veoctored the other 50 F-15Es from Wolf Mountain AFB to come in at a different vector and pincer the Battlehawk Forces

Fort Foxmount

The cheers at the distruciton of the enemy fort was stopepd another anoter salvo of missiles was fired. The CIWS worked it's hardest but some missiles got through and slammed into three Destroyers and two cruisers.
"Fire 100 missiles at Four Foxmount!"
From the Fleet 100 missiles was fired from all the launchers at lease twice. Soon they were speeding towards Fort Foxmount.

Port Palla

"Sir, the Civvie section just went hostile!" One of the Talons reported before being shot down.
"Alright, all Talons, go for all Anti air emplacments, fire!" the 68 or so remaining Talons now concenrtrated fire on the AA and SAMs Nearby

Fort Thoran

Unseen amidst all the chaos, eight heaily camoflaged men swam ashore. Once ashore they took up positons behind debris as they got their weapons ready. They began to stealthly make their way through the former Fort Thoran.

Wolf Montian AFB

A small group of Blackhawks had made thier way through the countryside to a position about ten miles from the Airforce base. Hovering above the ground around 50 soldiers fast ropped down to the ground. As soon as they were down the blackhawks bugged out back to the sea. The soldiers began to make their way nearer to the Base.

Air battle Talons/Eagles

The Squadron broke into and half headed for their half of the attackers. Firing a salvo of 2 AIM-120's each. Thats 50 at each incoming group. Followed by 3 AIM-9's, 75 at each group.

Fort Foxmount
"Incoming! Get to cover!" Yelled a young leftenant as we saw the missiles incoming, he dived for cover under a supply truck, even though it was laden with artillery shells. The Rapier AA batteries fired their own missiles hoping to take out a few, the remaining HVMs and Shilkas started up to. The combined power took out 30 of the missiles. However 70 got through. the missiles caught the fort when it was most vulnerable in the middle of reloading the BrahMos II launchers. The chain reaction tore the heart out of the fort, the massive 16inch gun emplacements exploded in a massive fireball. The BrahMos II launchers were next, they and their ammunition exploded and took out the rest of the fort. Reduced to a smouldering ruin, the surving 600 Artillery soldiers began to pick themselves up and knew that the Fort was soon to be assaulted by the enemy, so the proudly raised the Flag of their nation alongside the Fanged Wolf Banner of the Artillery.

Fort Thoran
The story was different at fort Thoran, whilst their had been more survivors, in the area of 1,200 men, they where to busy trying to put out a fire that was approaching the secondary magazine, and to rescue the 300 survivors trapped inside the offensive section of the fort.

Port Palla
Guns exploded in civilian areas as hostile aircraft fired upon them, causing countless civilian casualties. However this only reinforced the gunners resolve and their fire rate doubled. The AA missiles and Triple A fire streaked from both the Navy base and from the city itself as they desperately tried to kill as many of the Battlehawk Talons as possible. The 2nd Fleet also fired wave after wave of anti-air missiles totalling over 500, as well as the last remaining Nimitz Class Carrier launching 50 F/A-18 Super Hornets to fight off the Talons.

Wolf Mountain AFB
(OOC: 50 against 10,000 your brining it on)
The WHAF Combat troops that were responsible for the protection of the Wolf Holds Central Airbase, centred at the foot of Mount Wolf, a mountain that had brought about the name of the nation, a mountain that was steeped in legend, a mountain that was a symbol of national pride and morale. The troops guarding the mountain knew that the Airbase could never fall or the hopes of winning the war would be massively reduced. As of yet the majority of the troops where sleeping or resting in anticipation for the eventual attack, There were about 500 men on patrol on the base perimeter.

Air Battle Eagles/Talons
The two converging F-15E groups outnumbering the Talons now took a casualties as they ploughed towards the Talons, 22 F-15Es were shot down as their counter measures and flares failed to trick the missiles. They however launched their own 6 AIM-120 AMRAAM missiles at the Talons to reach a total of 468 missiles.

Fort Foxmount

"Fire at them again!" THe Admiral order and a second wave of missiles was fired at the fort.

Fort Thoran

The Eight special ops soldiers had postioned themselves a small distance away from the main bulk of the enemy forces left in the fort. They took up postions and awaited orders.

Port Palla

The Talons had run out of missiles and now sped back out through the now relativly safe to transit entereance to the bay. They headed back to the ship, 57 plane went into a holding over the carriers, any planes stupid enough to follow would be shot down by the Fleets AA, or the CAP.

The fire was spreading and was getting closer to the magazine, the men suddenly realised that there was no hope of saving the fort and the 200 men trapped in the fire control rooms. So the surving 1000 men grabbed whatever firearms they could salvage and boarded any and all vehicles. The convoy that prepared to leave the base was formed up of 4x4s, SUVs, Vixen Landrovers, Pinzaguers and 5 and a 1/2 ton trucks.

Fort Foxmount
The rockets landed all around the fort, blowing the rubble and remaining concrete to even smaller peices. However the infantry were now intrenched in the rubble and the only way to dislodge them would be to mount an infantry assault.

Cavalia AFB
Had a smaller much smaller complement of only 1000 WHAF Combat troops, Cavalia AFB wasn't considered to be much of a worry as no one expected it to be attacked. All 1000 of the troops however we at full battle alert status.

Air Battle Eagles/Talons
The Eagles then enaged the Talons at dogfight range, switching to their sidewinders and 20mm cannon. Unleashing missile after missile and firing long lines of traces at the Battlehawk Talons. However another 16 F-15Es were lost.

Fort Thoran Aproach
The Convoy had cleared the Fort when the fire reached the magazine. THhe fort went up in a giant explosion. The force of the magazine going up made the cliff the Fort was built uppon collapse, as Fort Thoran slowly sinks into the sea, the survivors solemnly make their way along the roads towards The Fang.

Cavlia AFB
"Hey Rico, we got a leak in this fuel tank, here look" Pointing at the hole in the fuel tank, Staff Sargent Wilson was caught compltly of guard as the sniper bullet pinged off the tarmac next to him. Diving for cover behind one of the many sandbaged emplaments around the Air force base. Pulling his pistol out and un-hooking his radio of his belt he keyed in a code to allow him acsess to the emergency speakers, "Full Alert, Enemy sniper activity in sector 4-5, request Combat troops, I repeat request Combat troops" The alarms on the base began to sound as they came aware of the sniper attack.

Air Battle Eagles/Talons
With the last of the Talons destroyed it, all the F-15E Pilots had to do was deal with there last salvo of 100 Missiles, sadly the pilots had expended a lot of their countermeasures and the missiles claimed all but 16 of the F-15Es, the remaining aircraft began to fly back to Wolf Mountain AFB.

Sniper bullets impacted into 4 Combat soldiers as they rushed to man a 50 cal emplacement. Staff Sargent wilson was keeping his head down as the bullets zipped overhead, he had only just recently transfered from the combat regiments so he recognised what these snipers were doing, they were pinning the men. That ment they proably had some men trying to sneak around there flank. He got his radio out and keyed the CAS frequency in. "This is SSgt Wilson, possible enemy flanking attack in sector 4-5, requesting gunships to sweer area" Risking a peak over the lip of the sandbags he could of sworn he saw shadows moving in the treeline. The remaining F-15Es were low on fuel, they had expended all their missiles and some of them had low gun ammo. Their would be no point wasting lives in attacking the CF-1s. "This is Raven 5 to all planes, set your auto pilots to set a look alike atack vector of the CF-1s and then punch out, i repeat punch out" The pilot did the nessecary adjustments to the auto pilot and then both he and his WSO pulled their ejection handels, alongised the crew from the other F-15Es. First... Accept our apologies, brothers, but the I.S.D.I is just what it says, "Incoporated", we are no Armed Republic like yourselves, our nation was built, to look good with its expensive mansions and shiny sky scrapers etc.

Unfortunally our military budget was spent more on our unifroms, airforce and training, rather than recruiting more soldiers,

As a "classy nation" we cannot afford to be damaged, our forces are really only look the part, although they have the training, we dont have the numbers... Our apologies again for the surrender of our Nation we hope this isn't held against us...

We our willing to fund you with our new military uniforms that we where ourselves, we shall fund it down to every last soldier,

Here Are The Details:

Liquid body armor that weighs 70 percent less than Kevlar but is flexible and more effective.

A helmet with tiny, built-in cameras---including infra-red--- to spot enemies lurking in the dark or concealed by bushes.

The cameras' images will appear on semi-transparent screens attached to their helmets.

Chameleon-like camouflage that mimics surroundings to make a soldier almost invisible.

Total weight of combat gear will drop from 120 pounds to 40 pounds.

Robotic vehicles that could launch mortars or other weapons, serve as remote eyes and ears or simply haul gear.

External skeletons carrying artificial muscles that would make soldiers faster and stronger.

Deserted Territories
21-02-2009, 22:00
Admiral Montcalm's fleet had just come over the horizon from the combined blockade. The cruisers and arsenal ships surrounded the softer monitors, creating a large block of ships. The monitors prepared for their first attack, speedy hit and run missions planned to flatten the Wolf Hold's coast and avoid retaliation.

However, the Admiral noticed the calm that had fallen over the area. No attacks were being made, no sorties were headed for land. He had the fleet continue steaming towards the coast, but had no ships break formation yet.

After a bit of checking in, Montcalm learned of the call for peace made by the Wolf Hold. He sent for orders from The Sultan but was skeptical that the Wolf Hold would be let off the hook so easily. Even if peace was to be achieved without the Wolf Hold's subjugation, Deserted Territories' conditions this time around wouldn't be as mutually beneficial or lax as the last batch.

OOC: I dunno, after the Wolf Hold killed the courrier and rejected our first offer without even reading it, I doubt the Sultan will be able to let this one go without some kind of kickback.

Central Command, The Fang
Klaxons began to wail again as the remianing troops in Fort Foxmount and the 2nd Fleet in the entrance to Lupus bay announced the arrival of the DT Fleet. Most of the inhabitants of the Fang didn't even stir when the klaxons went off as they had been going off almost constantly for the past 3 odd days. It was the base controllers anoucment that got people moving. "Attention All Fang Personel, DT fleet is hostile, DT fleet is hostile. All personel to stations, all personel to stations" Soliders that had been smoking at checkpoints and technicans that had been enjoying good rest suddenly jumped to and beagn running about. Within 10 minutes the Fang was back to battle-ready status. The Vice Wolf's Marshall who had control in the abscence of the 1st Wolf's Marshall picked up the radio transmitter. "2nd Fleet to Full alert! Prepare to intercercept hostile DT forces! Wolf Mountain AFB Launch all Aircraft and move to pre designated zones.

Lupus Bay entrance
"This is the Flag, All crews to battlestations! Hostiles on Radar, CIWS to active, prepare AShMs" The Wolf Class had been under emergency repairs and had been deemed sea worthy and had re-joined the fleet, even if it was still leaking and that one of its reactors were down.

Wolf Mountain AFB
"All wings this is Air Defense Command, Launch all aircraft, hostiles detected, confirmed as DT. All Aircraft launch" the majority of the Wolf Holds airforce had remained intact during the recent engament. So to thay end over 200 aircraft launched from Wolf Mountain AFB.

ooc: I missed the peace talks, where is the thread?

As the CF-1's returned to their carriers, the admiral received word that peace talks had already taken place between The Battlehawk and Wolf Hold.
"So it may already be over?"
"Not nescesarily, the Deserted Territories fleet has just arrived."
"Hmm. Ask them if they plan to stay, or if they are willing to have peace."

As your fleet has just arrived, we would like to know whether you intend to stay and fight, or make peace with The Wolf Hold.

Peace with the insolent Wolf Hold is not out of the question, though DT forces will not be leaving until reparations have been made to remedy their actions at the onset of this engagement, or the Wolf Hold has been forced to surrender. The Cukarica sponsored peace between the Battlehawk and the Wolf Hold will not be viewed as anything more than a precedent indicating the Wolf Hold's desire to lay down its arms and seek forgiveness.

It should also be noted that a peace treaty with the Deserted Territories will not be as cheap as Cukarica's. There are real crimes to deal with here which will require equally real terms. If the Wolf Hold has changed its mind and would now like to review an agreement to see the DT fleet turn homewards, it would be well advised to cease hostilities against the DT fleet before they burn their last bridge.

We await the Wolf Hold's response and encourage it to ground all attack planes before it becomes neccessary to destroy them.

OOC: @ Cukarica: There is no IC reason DT would end its war with the Wolf Hold, even with your half-baked peace treaty. I'll organize my own cease-fire with him and it will have real terms he'll have to agree to so DT has a reason to stop invading him.

Furthermore, there aren't a lot of nations my size that play MT these days and I never send everything I have against a tiny nation. Plus, I've been RPing in this story line for several threads now, why do you get to jump in, make three posts and pretend you control the situation?

We will be willing to to aid you in fighting them, but we shall withdraw part of our forces. We will leave the marines already their, and a carrier group, but the rest shall return to our nation. Please inform us if The Wolf Hold begins negotiations with you.

FSS Achille's Vengeance CVN-65

The Gibraltar-class carrier and it's fleet was remaining far from the rest of the fleets, trying to retain the Commonwealth's neutrality. From the deck, four CV-30 Vogels (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=5180) were being prepared for launch. Each had a hastily drawn blue cross on the fuselage, indicating their neutrality. Their destination was several areas in Wolf Hold where they would take on refugees to evacuate to the carrier. There was promise that the operation would be cancelled, but with the arrival of another fleet, the promise was a fool's hope at best.

Captain Nilya Zatsiev stood in the carrier's CIC serenely, her stern eyes looking over the tactical and geographical displays. She gave the order and the Vogels launched, heading towards WH territory.

ooc: sorry for just jumping in, but i'd posted in WH's other post on the matter of refugees. my country is completely neutral militarily.

[OOC]Im not pretending anything,i just want this unfair war to end,as my opinion is that this is fairly idiotic. Also you have the right to attack him as he did kill your courier, but still you could just ask him to give up the men responsible for it and to jail them in your country.

The Battlehawk Fleet was unluckly stuck between the Wolf Hold Fleet and the DT fleet.
"Why did we park here?" The Fleet admiral asked.
"In between the two fleets?" A Commander asked.
"Yes"
"It was in between the Wolf Hold and that peace ship" the Commander commented

OOC: the order came down from his leader. If he's cool with that, sure.

Plus, if you'd read the other threads, you'd see this goes deeper than just that courrier. We ended up in a conflict together with some other nations and he declared war on me. Then, when he was getting dogpiled and this war started to become unfair, I offered to even the odds and he spit in DTs face. So there is more than enough justification to continue attacking and its still up to WH if he wants to settle this with peace.
