Is Heirosoloa really that hard to spell?
Feel free to shorten it to Heir in OoC.
Looks good, but Jakra, it is indeed power playing to say that it was a Phil. citizen.
They are part of his country, and only he can control them.
Of course, blaming the incident on them as propaganda for war is perfectly fine.

Oh yes, my temporary alliance with Comorostan is over. The CIS threat is said and done. Although I'm not sure Comorostan knew we were temporarily allied. More like I temporarily wasn't going to attack him. Because I am attacking people. or at least I will be. Time to unveil my Valkyries.
And hooray, we have everybody important here, so we can do some serious RPing.
:]

hey wolf hold, if your nation is under siege, wouldn't it make more sense to withdraw your peacekeepers so they could defend the homeland (hint, hint...) :;)
The Wolf Hold
19-02-2009, 02:47
It would..however if my allies tear each other to shreds I am going to be dogpiled by a load of other nations and I will end up doing a Belka (Ace Combat reference) Figure it out :p

I take it this is now the OOC thread?? If it is mind if I make a different OOC thread, since this is a bit... confusing to new comers?
The Wolf Hold

I have to point this out, The new combatant Centro is it? He is a force of anti-infantry guirella fighters. So far he seems to be going up against my armored divisons. His only anti-tank weapon is the RPG-30, and I need to point this out, the Challanger 2 has a record of being pratically inderstuctable, infact in its histrory of conflict not one has been lost to enemy fire, all challengers lost have been to a 120mm shell from another britsh challenger.
The Philippiniada
19-02-2009, 04:17
Well, I have no control on this. But i do suggest we do have a different OOC Thread. I'll make it, El Centro. :)
El Centro de tierras

Getting your tires shot out, and then having to wait a bit to have them re-tracked = defeated for the moment, and that moment may be the most necessary in that single battle, and it also means you have to bring in some one to fix it, and if that douche bag keeps getting shot you'll need to devout additional resources to keep him from getting shot. I don't have to win the battle, the war is what I'm aiming for.
The Wolf Hold

Yeah it might be best as this thread seems to have descended from OOC to random chatter ( I deney any involvement in it) so yeah a new OOC will be good
El Centro de tierras

I personally don't believe discussing the reality of my/your tactics is "random chatter", then again you could have been absolutely serious about your last section of that sentence and then I just look like a dumbass... then again I do enjoy that :-)

SOP procedure for cavalry charges is if Tank A is imobilised beyond field repair, Tank B is to destroy tank A and Tank A crew are to spread amongst other Tank= Advanced not slowed down

Ah, well then, by taking out your tracks (sooo much easier than piercing your armor) I knock out a tank for good. Meh, but since I don't know that ICly I can't really plan for that, but then again it's "SOP" for my troops to take out the tracks. Anyways, someone pointed out my tactical plans [last paragraph of my post I believe] that it needed to be discussed in the OOC thread??

The Imperial order of battle (OrBat), fighting alongside the peacekeepers, will be as follows:

Naval:

1*modified Queen Elizabeth-class carrier (Empress Eirena), taskforce flagship
4*modifed Ticonderoga-class cruisers.
8 each of modified ANZAC-class frigates and 8 F100-class destroyers.
4*Type 212 conventional submarines.

In all, a fairly typical light task force for the Imperial Navy, as it is all that we could reasonably have in the area. Then the Army's ships:

2* Wasp-class amphibious assault vessels, configured for maximum troop load. Modified for slightly improved self-defense capabilities.
2* Cunard Line ocean liners, modified for troop carrying and deployment. (Bear in mind, QE2 carried 3,000 troops during the Falklands War.)
8* replenishment vessels, for extended operations. They carry missiles, ammunition, spare parts and consumables.

LAND FORCES:

1*Imperial Army battle group, with support corps. Broken down, this becomes:

- 51st Infantry Brigade. (4,000 infantry. Good training and leadership, excellent equipment. Overall, they are skilled and dedicated infantry, but not elite or the best in the field.)
- 116th Armoured Battalion. (24 Challenger-2 MBTs. The best in the world, IMO, and benefiting from extensive electronics refits.)
- 54th Artillery Battalion. (18 PzH-2000 155mm field artillery pieces. Again, top-of-the-line tech. Hey, what's the point of large military budgets if you don't got good equipment?).

Air units: 12*Eurofighter Typhoon (I have a soft spot for these - their maneuvrability is legendary) aboard each of the Wasp-class vessels, plus 48 aboard the carrier, for a total of 72 fighters.
24* Eurocopter Tiger (ARH variant), equipeed with a variety of loadouts.

I think that covers all the bases reasonably.....
