Between South Carolina and Arkansas, East Congaree

It was just another morning, save for the populations being raped and pillaged by Red Revolutionaries around the nation. They declared themselves independent of East Congaree. Of one of these, the Congaree Socialist Republic was a special ones. Centered along the Santee River in South Carolina, they lay dangerously close to Charleston, the capital of East Congaree. An estimated 300,000 had broken out over the course of the day, pushing out miles North and West of the Santee river, and occupying areas as close as 30 miles to Charleston. In South Georgia, the Democratic Republic of Georgia quickly occupied the Okefenokee Swamp and the surrounding areas, threatening Jacksonville, FL. Along the Red River in Texas and Seqoyah, the Socialist Republic of Seqoyah faced no problem in sprouting up and destroying several East Congaree gunboats in the river that day. In the Roanoake Valley, a more desperate but deadly rebellion broke out, occupying a twenty five square mile area and killing hundreds of caucasian citizens. In Southeast Arkansas, nearly the entire frontage of the Missisippi River was occupied. These Republics were strong, but poorly organized, and had few lines of communication with each other. How they got weapons other than the machine guns and rifles they seized from federal armories was another thing.

What the hell? Are you not aware that the GWO is a major ALLY of the nation of East Congaree?

Good sire, I do personally recommend you don't send messages to the Spire while high on substances.

Uranium Province, North America

The GWO response to the rebellion in EC was quick and simple. A group of Special Forces from different organizations was to be sent to conduct raids against rebel facilities. Meanwhile, troops from the Reconnaissance Regiments were to be the main force, as most of the fighting was presumed to take place in the forests. A bit of standard forces would be sent to help maintain security in the cities. One major benefit of the situation was that one of the GWO's largest provinces was directly bordering the nation of East Congaree. This meant that things could easily be changed, and many combat personnel could be sent to and fro.

The North American State Militia had begun entering East Congaree, stating that they were there to protect the cities (Which they were). Above, C-130s were carrying Advanced Paradrop Service (GWO equivalent of the SAS) soldiers for HALO drops in the trouble areas. Federal Guardsmen were present in every unit, and a few Federal Guard unattached Regiments were sent to enforce Martial Law, should it be declared. S.T.F. Agents were already present (Being the sneaky bastards they were) and ready to do anything ordered. Recon troopers were preparing to launch a sweep of the forests.

The GWO ships sitting at several GWO Naval Bases in EC had announced that they will provide cruise missile strikes when called for by EC and GWO personnel.

Santee River, South Carolina, EC

A whiskey class submarine, with its 57mm AA gun being used as artillery, creeped up the Santee River. The republic had augmented its self since the hostilities broke out, dangerously pushing inland towards Columbia, which it was just 15 miles from. Massive naval deployments up the rivers hadn't done much good, and the main infantry hadn't even bothered coming in to attack the rebels yet. GWO troops would hopefully change things, but nothing could be guarunteed. All of a sudden, a red machinie gun crew began hammering at the submarine....

Atlanta, GA; Huntsville, AL; Jackson, MS

Major railroad junctions across EC were sent into flames, destroying millions of dollars in goods, and destroying shipping lines between cities for weeks.

All Across East Congaree

The Congaree Socialist Republic held Southeastern North Carolina, and Northeast Georgia. The Tennesee Socialist Republic posesses West Tennessee excep the area around Nashville, and the South Georiga Socialist Republic posesses the Albany area but is making a push on Columbus. Around the Red River in Texas and Oklahoma, Red rebels are launching raids out of the Red River swamps into Oklahoma.

Santee, South Carolina, East Congaree

"OOOH REE GWINE RAPE DE BUCKRAS" a butch Lesbian negro screamed. Over the hours, 2,000 white inhabitants of the town were raped and killed.

Piedmont Region, South Carolina, East Congaree

The Negro rebels had captured all of South Carolina but the Appalachian mountain region, which they charged at. If Greenvile, SC fell, all of East Congaree might as well have gone up in flames.

More and more GWO forces were being transferred in, entire Regiments swarming into the allied nation. MABs were being sent down the rivers that wound through the nation, readying Mark 19s for blowing rebel clusters to bits.

F-35s flew overhead, scanning for rebel groups to drop their 2,000-pound JDAM guided munitions. B-1s also were present, along with RAH-66/AH-64 swarms. DRI-trained Reconnaissance soldiers were prowling about in ghille suits and the like, calling in air raids, et cetera. Mechanized infantry columns and armored regiments moved through the roads to villages, etc, that had been taken over by the rebels. In some places, S.T.F. Agents had left their mark; rebels could be seen with their heads cut off, faces full of shotgun pellets, hanging, and worse.

Greenville, SC, East Congaree

A 2,000 man East Congaree infantry garrison, supported by four artillery batteries and twelve T-34 tanks guarded the city. Rushing at them were 250,000 negroes, some with machine guns. Only a few hundred were mowed down by East Congare infantry before the East Congare line was broken, and the infantry was forced to retreat. Artillery pounded the rebels, perhaps killing a couple thousand. The tanks may have picked off a few rebels, but only eight remained by the time the artillery and tanks were in full retreat from the city. By nightfall, Eastern Greenville lay under rebel occupation. Hundreds were murdered, rape, looted, and assaulted by rebels. Out of the Northwest, though, the GWO military was approaching.... The rebels took mortars they had looted from militiamen and poorly armed artillery batteries and began to pound at GWO forces approaching.

Message to East Congaree

We would like to help crush the rebellion. We have revolutionaries on our hands too, so we are sending out forces.

From the Democratic States of the Soundgardens

ORBAT:

4 Illinois Class Battleships
3 Ognevoy (new blueprints) class destroyers
2 transports

We sailed on across the ocean, for it would take a while to get to East Congaree. I was playing a game of chess, when a wave came up and blasted our ship with water, which washed away the chess pieces.

We kept sailing, keeping and testing our SVT-38s. We were trying to make sure the mag stayed in, but it kept falling out. We tried to put a lock on the mag, to no avail. This was all we could do during our long sail to East Congaree.

We sailed on. All we could hear was the sound of the ships cutting through the waves like a spoon cutting through jello. Then suddenly, the captain's booming voice broke the eerie
silence.

"Yarrr boys, we got new orders!"
"What sir?"
"We are supposed to land all forces at Cape Fear."
"Yes sir."
"I have a special tactic for taking this one over.

We will enclose the cape with our battleships, and bombard the area with fire. In this mean time, we will approach with the destroyers escorting the transports with 500 men each to the area due north of the cape. These forces will enclose the cape and force them to dwindle supplies, while continuously bombarding the area."

"When the time is right, we will strike."
"AYE AYE Sir!"

The GWO force quickly responded to the mortar fire by moving in unpredictable patterns, before several F-35s streaked overhead, preparing to drop their laser-guided 2,000-pound JDAMs on sources of hostile fire. RAH-66s and AH-64s came upon the city like a swarm of locusts. Their 30mm cannons, rocket pods, and guided missiles would be used to unleash hell upon the rebels below.

Somewhere in East Congaree

A Reconnaissance soldier was prowling about in his ghille suit, armed with a PSG-1 sniper rifle. He'd prefer to have the EASR-L150 or an Anzio 20mm, but those were far too bulky for his light scouting job. He spotted a negro walk by him before disappearing into the foliage, quick-walking somewhat like a penguin. The man wasn't alerted, clearly.

The rebel leader on the island screamed, "The Buckra's capitalist 'presser allies come! Do dis one fo' duh proleteriat nooooooooowww!" With that, the sixteen captured anti-ship missiles on Cape Fear screamed out of their containers at the Soundgardens ships. If any got any closer, they hoped the eight 125mm and four 250mm, along with two sixteen inch guns would halt the advance of the ships. Of course, machine gun fire and mortars would be peppered in. For any approaching aircraft, the rebels, they had a couple dozen 93K4 Strela-3 shoulder launched Surface to air missiles, and a few 9K310 Igla shoulder-guided surface to air missiles. Also, they posessed a few Buk-I SAM's, a dozen or so 57mm AA systems, and several dozen 12.7mm AA systems.

The black rebel, moderately fat and in his late forties went up to the GWO scouting troop. He screamed loudly "HAVE YOU READ DE MANIFESTO?" He spoke in a friendly manner, holding a package of greasy pork rib barbecue in his hands, with grease oozing out of the package.

Greenville, South Carolina, East Congaree

The rebels had dozens of shoulder-launched SAM's, which they launched at both the helicopters and F-35s. Some blazed their assault rifles and carbines at the helicopters, too. Then, the negroes opened up on the GWO lines with something the GWO didn't knew they had: field artillery. 75mm and 125mm howitzers opened up on the GWO lines, pounding for a long while along with the mortars. They wouldn't have to worry about running out of shells anytime soon, they had seized several armories on their march up to Greenville, and in Greenville its self. Above, an unmistakeable noise droned. Four private Cessna planes, taken off from nearby Columbia P.G.T. Beauregard East Congaree International Airport were flying in the skies above with a 12.7mm machine gun under each wing. It seemed like a suicide run, but the cessnas headed straight for the GWO lines to fire off their machine guns at GWO ground troops.

The men saw the incoming fire from Cape Fear.

"Everyone man your stations! Mark! Get on the 330! John get on the 152!

Everyone rushed to their stations, and Mark, the one to man the main 330mm gun, tripped and fell. In this fall, he snapped his ankle.

"Ahhh dammit! Dean! Man the main gun!"

All of the guns were fired. The destroyers and the transports made their way around the cape to do the sneak artillery attack. The Illinois class battleships had a new bombardment improvement to test.

The anti-ship missiles fired off, and the mortars and shore defense guns fired, even if some were out of range. And, in the distance, two Cessnas armed with two 12.7mm machine guns were surely coming to do nothing other than distract the Soundgardens naval force storming Cape Fear. Meanwhile, two MiG-21s of the East Congaree airforce agreed to support the Soundgarden fleet as apparently asked for. They each dropped two 250 lb. bombs, destroying several of the 57mm and 12.7mm AA guns further back on the point.

The MANPADs were anticipated by the pilots, and were quickly combated by flares to redirect them. The helicopters quickly responded by firing their 30mm chain guns into buildings where SAMs were coming from with the intent to make them collapse (Which was very feasible, the 30mm shells were explosive). Meanwhile, F-35s were heading to strafe the artillery guns, followed by godrod (Which are more like bunker busters and are not WMDs) strikes on fortifications.

The Cessnas were quickly targeted by RADAR-guided air-to-air missiles, courtesy of a couple of F-22s passing by.

The F-35s took out about a quarter of the rebel artillery positions, while the godrods took out another two fourths. The bombardment continued, regardless. 100,000 rebels with carbines, and another 15,000 with AK-47 and AK-103 assault rifles charged the GWO lines. Most of the buildings with the anti-air infantry rebels collapsed, but some didn't and those still in standing buildings with the Shoulder-Launched SAM's continued to fire up at the helicoptoers, along with some rebels with assault rifles.

An AH-64 had been blown apart by a MANPAD, but the remaining helicopters in its strike group had quickly targeted the source. Flares were again used, and more runs were conducted on rebel positions. Soon, the helicopters and F-35s would be able to target actual units.

The GWO main force was beginning a push into the city, sending Marines in first. Most of the Marines were in Pumas, Boxers, or BMW motorcycles with armed sidecars, while the rest were mounted on tanks, holding onto the infantry handles. When the rebels charged, hordes of machine guns, SMAWs, autocannons, rifles, and even a few Dillion miniguns were unleashed up the charging masses. The Marines would continue their advance into the city, while the Army sluggishly followed behind with their own armored vehicles and HPACVs.

The Recon soldier made a "Yeeargh" sound when his hands touched the Communist propaganda. He pulled the trigger only to find that his firing pin and broken, and that the gun was now useless until he would be able to strip it down and fix it. "Ah, pissums."

Most of the buildings that had rebels with shoulder launched-SAM's fell. However, a few remained standing, along with the rebels on them, still firing away. While the infantry force charged at the GWO lines in front of the city, the rebels in the city noticed that some GWO forecs had slipped around the infantrymen charging the GWO lines. Suddenly, the charging infantrymen were in a pocket. Inside the city, the remaining rebels inside the city fired at the marines in vehicles other than tanks with assault rifles and carbines, while a few of the rebel artillerymen firing mortars diverted their efforts to firing on tanks. The main field artillery, however, continued to pound the GWO lines the infantrymen were charging, And then, a several miles from the Eastern flank of the GWO outside Greenville came the sound of Katyusha rocket trucks firing off rockets on their racks. Somehow, the rebels had gotten their hands on MLRS trucks. In addition, a couple hundred pickup trucks and cars seized by rebels had rebels with assault rifles and carbines inside, charging the GWO lines while firing at the GWO lines every now and then. Just as the charging infantrymen had been pocketed, the forces inside the cars went North and west, then came to attack the GWO rear by heading Southwest towards their lines. Then, the GWO lines would be pocketed, too. Fortunately for GWO ground forces, 14 of the cars had been destroyed by East Congaree National Airforce MiG-17s flying out of Clemson, South Carolina.

"YOU BETRAY DE REVOLUTION, YOU DIE.", the rebel screamed, choking the GWO recon man to death. He screamed like a hyena running through the forests after killing the GWO soldier, screaming "COME DE REVOLUTION! COME DE REVOLUTION! COME DE REVOLUTION! OOH IT NOT JUST COME YET IT BE HERE!" before running into a barbwire fence, and subsequently standing on a mine around it. After a "OAOHAOAHAOGHAOGHAOGAOGAOHAGOOO!", the rebel went up in flames and died. By nightfall, most of the rebel forces directly within three hundred yards of the Congaree, Wateree, Santee, and Cooper rivers had been flushed back deeper into the woods.

Red River Socialist Republic, Seqoyah-Texas Border, East Congaree

The Red River Socialist Republic, not to be confused with the Seqoyah Socialist Republic bordering the same river further east in the state, launched a raid into Kiowa tribal land, killing 37 Native Americans and burning Kiowa governmental buildings, claiming "We hade da injun bad dey be capitalist 'pressers just like de buckra 'cept dey have dirty red skins and dey leek deesussting." In addition to 37 fatalities in the Kiowa National Army, a 10,000 strong militia on Kiowa Tribal lands and nearby areas in Southwest Seqoyah and Northern Texas, 4 East Congaree infantrymen were killed supressing the raid on Waurika, Seqoyah. Even after being pushed back from Waurika, a camp of 300 negroes had pushed the borders of the Red River Socialist republic a few miles into Seqoyah, not the few miles or so of swampland directly bordering the Red River , not pushing in but a couple hundred yards. A scary fact stood: If the rebels could capture a few miles a day, Southern Seqoyah could be under Socialist rule soon. Thankfully, the lines of the Seqoyah Socialist Republic further East fell back several hundred yards, nearly back to the banks of the Red River.

To: The GWO Department of the Navy

From: East Congaree Executive Office

We suggest the deployment of 500 Marine Attack Boats up the Mississippi River, then up the Red River to supress the Negro uprising in Seqoyah. We fear that if this rebellion is not stopped now, it could spread further North into Seqoyah and South into Texas.

With the best of hopes,

When the news of Cassius Freeman's rebellion had reached the citizens of the Democratic States - along with the reports hinting at the murder of innocent white women and children - there were cries for justice and vengeance that rang out among the citizens with some advocating that the Strickland Administration send official military support to East Congaree in order to avenge the murdered citizens. Unfortunately for them, President Strickland had only gone so far as to give his nation's condolences to the families along with his nation's support for the government of East Congaree. It would only consist of spiritual support with no money or soldiers ever sent for Deere's benefit but this didn't stop the Davis Brigade's remaining two thousand men from going to East Congaree themselves. These men came from all walks of life and loathed the idea of so called free men of color pillaging the land of their forefathers. This was attributed to the fact that any man of color in the Democratic States was enslaved as their forefathers had been.

When their ships had finally reached the shores of East Congaree - the men landing on the soil of their forefathers with excitement and joyfulness - they sent a single message to the authorities: "Where do you want us?"

150,000 infantrymen, along with 40 T-55 tanks were loaded onto railcars, where they would be shipped to the front at Greenville. Unfortunately, while the would have normally had an easy trip to Columbia, rebels occupied the city. The other major railroad hub in the region, Atlanta, had been largely blown up by rebels, and would take several more days to repair. It was decided they'd be shipped into Western Virginia, down into North Carolina, and then to the small strip of Northwest South Carolina around Clemson still held by East Congaree forces. However, it would take a long time to unload infantrymen at such a small railroad station, and if Clemson fell into enemy hands, the infantrymen might not even make it out of the railcars.

The Allaneans had long been tracking the situation in East Congaree, and now they decided to take action. The six outdated Mark I Nuclear Pulse Guns had been reoriented and fired once more, their enormous ten-ton shells aimed at targets on the East Coast. Four of the shells were aimed at the rail depots of Atlanta, and two – at the rail depots in Clemson.

Now Allanea was in full-out war against East Congaree again. Things were about to get very interesting – in the Stoklomolvian sense.

The Allaneans were surprised by the rapid reaction of the enemy aircraft. Nobody expected an airborne laser to be able to destroy a ten-ton hunk of steel, but there it was. An alternative target had to be devised, and devised it was.

From the United States shore, a force of 500 B-22 bombers took off, 50 in number. They were not, despite what would seem to be wise, headed towards East Congaree. Rather, they headed towards an exact midway point – precisely 2,000 kilometers away from both Allanea and East Congaree.

From this point, they launched a devastating salvo of air-to-ground Tomahawk missiles – 5000 missiles, as a matter of fact. Of these, 1,000 were aimed at air defense facilities throughout the East Congaree shore line, and apartment buildings. 1,000 equipped with anti-runway submunitions, were aimed at whatever air force facilities survived the initial Allanean strikes, and 3,000 were aimed at areas of infrastructural importance- rail depots, power plants, and factories. Obviously, a stripe of land up to 500 kilometers was the limit of this target zone.

But this was a mere distraction. In addition, a salvo of ten Starbolt long-range ballistic missiles was launched from Allanea. Though they could be loaded with up to sixty tons of payload, for this mission payload had to be reduced if they were to keep FOBS capability. With a payload of 30 tons each, the missiles were launched towards the East. They would circle the Earth as FOBS impact vehicles, and arrive from West to rain down on Congaree, even as the anti-ballistic laser carriers were busy defending from the waves of Tomahawks coming in from the Atlantic. Even if they weren't busy, by the time the missiles entered range their warheads were already opening up – and attacking the very airfields from which the laser-carrying aircraft had launched with hundreds and thousands of runway-cratering submunitions.
East Congaree
19-03-2009, 19:30
OOC: I take it they wouldn't destroy the whole thing, but I feel they could mess up the trajectory by smashing a hole in them, and ultimately make them fall apart or fall far short of target. Also, there are a fair number of those circling at all times above EC and the GWO.

Along the Coast of East Congaree

Anti-missile batteries, most of which had missiles, were prepared to shoot down the Tomahawks. Unfortunately, 200 did reach air defenses across the East Coast, while 100 hit railines across the nation. Some 250 hit targets, with a reasonable amount of rail depots, power plants, and several munitions factories destroyed. Ballistic missile threats were noticed by aircraft circling over other regions of the nation. However, two did get through, and several hundred aircraft and a few airfields were destroyed.

South Carolina, East Congaree

The Congaree Socialist Republic shrunk in size. Rebel forces had fallen back from Greenvile, and now sat just fifteen miles Northwest of Columbia, South Carolina. They had also lost all the ground they gained in North Carolina, and had lost a sizeable chunk of Northeast South Carolina. Twenty Iowa class battleships had been pounding their locations all along the coast, and had stopped what seemed to be an impressive invasion of Savannah, Georgia. It was here that 795 Divine Tiger tanks, along with a few hundred technicals from militias had gathered to run a full assault on the rebel positions. Just then, a massive artillery barrage opened up from East Congaree three inch and five inch guns, and MiG-17s darted around and rained hell from above with both machine guns and bombs. Fremantle Class patrol boats had cleared out areas within immediate range of the Congaree and Wateree rivers of any rebels, and they started pounding both sides of the rivers for rebels further up-right in downtown Columbia.

All Across Seqoyah

The Red River and Seqoyah Socialist Republics were destroyed by an armored assault of mostly Native American militia, and then a few thousand East Congaree infantrymen.

Southern Louisiana and Northeast Arkansas

The socialist republic that sprung up here had been a threat to shipping into East Congaree's interior, but was destroyed by the time patrol boats and frigates had sailed up the Red and Arkansas rivers.

Outside Roanoke, Virginia

The Socialist Republic here was more of a mob of insurgency in the city, but they were arguably the most successful in the last couple weeks, losing only seven while killing 40 East Congaree military personnel and police.

OOC: I am not sure it can be done by these means – the NPG shell is usually just a hunk of metal ten tons in weight with some corrective fins - but I have no problem accepting it for the sake of RP.

IC:

The Allaneans were learning rapidly. They saw that their ballistic missile attack was largely ineffective, and so they did not repeat it. Instead, 100 of the B-22 aircraft took off, carrying an impressive total of 10,000 Tomahawk missiles. But now, the attack was more focused in area – only air defenses were targeted, in the 500-kilometer stripe. With a tenfold increase of the amount of missiles launched, the Allaneans expected an increase in the quality of results.

[OOC: Sorry, the Physics Nazi in me has to call a Kinetic Kristalnacht on the laser interception of the ten-ton rail-slug. If you'd pushed it off trajectory or even screwed up its flight characteristics, that's still TEN TONs of metal that's going to slam into East Congaree at nigh hypersonic speeds. The kinetic energy released would be catastrophic. On target, it might be confined...mostly...to legitimate government or military targets. Off course and tumbling, it's probably going to plow into populated areas.]

OOC: Any key of the size of the explosion, in kilotons of TNT, perhaps?

Charleston Harbor

Eight Iowa Class Battleships pounded the shore with their guns, clearing the way for 1,000 East Congaree marines to land.

Orangeburg, South Carolina

The rebels suffered 29,112 dead at the battle of Columbia, in comparison to only 300 dead East Congaree soldiers. This was due in part to the fact the rebels had no artillery of any sort remaining, and East Congaree naval and air support was almost unstoppable by the rebels' machine guns and carbines. Two fremantle patrol boats were sunk, and a MiG-17 was shot down, along with one MiG-17 slightly damaged. A few ruts were dug around Orangeburg with forced white labor, which rebels piled into. A safe supply of ammunition was still coming in from the Santee armory, but the hope was just to hold Orangeburg for a few days to slow the advance of East Congaree troops. MiG-17s laced anti-aircraft positions with machine gun fire, suffering no losses while killing several rebels.

Seqoyah

East Congaree troops stood on the red river, along with their Native American militia. Leaders of the Red River and Seqoyah Socialist Republics had been tried and hung within hours of their capture.

Southeast Arkansas and Louisiana

The same fate occured here for the rebel leaders.

Roanoake, Virginia

Insurgency was still alive here, but it remained sporadic attacks coming outside a small pocket of land as at it had been since the start of the rebellion here.

Across the Coast of East Congaree

About 2,000 missiles struck, destroying 2,200 air defense sites.

[OOC: "...a ten-ton spacecraft then would provide the kinetic energy equivalent of the Hiroshima atomic bomb." Source (http://www.nss.org/news/mailings/mailing14.html)

The Hiroshima bomb has been estimated at about fifteen kilotons of TNT.

Using this sim (http://meyerweb.com/eric/tools/gmap/hydesim.html#), set the yield to 15 kT and use these coordinates
Clemson -82.83385, 34.69108
Atlanta -84.43989, 33.79684

I picked those as likely locations for example. I really don't know where the railyards are in those two cities.]

[OOC: Catawbva is VASTLY overrating the power of the NPG, I am sorry to say. The energy of an impact is a function of Mass and Velocity. The Velocity of the NPG is great, but it is not THAT great. You should have powerful explosions at those spots - think of one of the large "Earthquake bombs" of WW2 impacting, not a nuke. But franky, [b]I am okay if nothing happens. OOC: I thought one of those could be able to take down a giant shell, if they're supposedly able to zap aircraft-sized obejcts. Regardless, some of your shells will get through, because 40-80 constantly flying joint GWO-EC aircraft in North America cannot cover all attacks at once.

The Allaneans saw the results of their bombings, and they saw that it was good. For their next strike they decided to increase the scale of the attack – now, with 300 B-22s, attacking solely the air defense sites of the enemy. 30,000 missiles were launched, half of them armed with cluster munitions and half of them armed with regular HE. The remaining enemy anti-air sites were being attacked. Now that the enemy AA were a bit weaker, more of the missiles would get through – and more were being launched, too.

In the meanwhile, the Mark I Nuclear Pulse Guns and their more advanced Mark II brothers fired a salvo of 12 shells, targeting the enemy's naval yards on the East Coast. The Allaneans were engaging in classic combined air and artillery assault on enemy positions – only the scale was slightly bigger than normal.

Across the East Coast of East Congaree

All twelve shells got through, but that was because East Congaree forces were working on shooting missiles down, while not paying attention to the shells. Ports up and down the Atlantic Coast were struck, slowing down operations and destroying some of their defenses for awhile, but fortunately many ships didn't head into Atlantic ports during wartime. Ships that were off the coast headed for Leistung were reliable anti-missile platforms. They would be backed by a still vast anti-air systems and numerous fighter and anti-missile jets. In total, several thousand missiles did strike anti-air systems along the Atlantic Coast, crippling anti-air operations. East Congaree decided to hold back production of weapons and vehicles, and work on building munitions for the next year. With the money they would save, they would make a peace offer with Allanea.

East Congaree offers the payment of two trillion dollars and the freedom to establish a "security territory" in Northern Deleware, sandwiched between the GWO and East Congaree. This lease would last for five years. In return, Allanea will agree to peace with IFA parties.

The Allanean response came later. It was in the form of another pack of B-22s, armed with – again – 30,000 Tomahawks. This was no longer an issue of military efficiency – rather, the Allaneans wished to fire off as many rounds from the New Bavaria Munitions Stockpile (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14537647&postcount=2799) as they could before the rounds went out of date. Yet again, the targets were similar: air defense stations around the East Coast.

After the missiles hit, a simple message arrived in East Congaree:

We require the following conditions:

1.Freedom for East Congaree's black population. If you do not want to grant them voting rights and equality, you can deport them to a nature that will properly respect their freedoms or grant them national independence.
2.End of Congarese participation in the Imperial Fascist Alliance and the current war. Withdraw Congarese forces from all theaters of war.
3.A cession of the Socialist Republic of Sequoya to the United States of Allanea. Alternatively, Cuba or Northern Delaware can be ceded.

Failing to comply with the conditions above will result in an unrestriced campaign of bombings of all East Congaree White population centers, with a special focus on hospitals, nuclear power plants, orphanages and daycare centers.

Official Allanean Response:

Will you also pay us, in the same way you will pay the other combatant governments?
Will these new rights include the right to leave the country and vote?

If yes, then this is acceptable. We are also ready to set up facilities in our new territory of North Delaware to accept the minorities if you choose to deport them, so they can find work producing cheap consumer goods which you can then buy in a usual, market-based process.

Official Message from the Office of the President of the United States

Friends! Allies! Freemen!

Even as I speak, diplomats empowered by the Senate are signing a peace treaty between us and East Congaree. Our achievements are numerous.

First and foremost, previously our intelligence had reported a system of de-facto slavery and numerous oppression for the East Congarese African population. This shall be no longer. The Africans shall be restored to their various rights, save only the privilege of the vote vote. Should they wish to leave East Congaree to a country where they will be empowered with voting privilege, they will retain the right to leave and will be well accepted in Allanea – especially in our new territory.

Second, East Congaree has paid us a sum of one trillion dollars and ceded to us the territory of North Delaware. Even as I speak, ten armored divisions are being loaded onto cargo aircraft to secure the area from probably aggression. The total costs of this war, I remind you, have been around forty billion dollars including the salaries of the pilots.

Third, the government of East Congaree has left the Imperial Fascist Alliance. This deprives the Grand World Order of a navy of thirty thousand ships and an army of a million men as surely as if we had shot them dead.

Fourth, and most important: all of these achievements, and not a single Allanean is dead. Not a single plane is lost. Not a single ship of ours is sunk – even as thousands of Congarese air defense installations lie in ruins, even as smoke rises from East Congaree's cities.

I wish to congratulate the Strategic Air Command and its pilots for granting Allanea this truly glorious victory, and for giving thousands of men in East Congaree their freedom back. Some members of Congress had already suggested the creation of an Order of Curtis LeMay, for successful air commanders. I agree with this suggestion – and as soon as the bill passes, I will suggest that the first Order of LeMay be awarded to Marshal Conde for her planning of execution of this mission.

I would like to thank – not only the soldiers of Allanea, for carrying out this mission and bringing the blessings of freedom to subjugated minorities in yet another corner of the world – but the Allanean Freeman, the taxpayer and voter, without whom this success would not have been possible.

Thank you all.

And may God Continue to Bless Allanea.
