Gordonopia has never needed or wanted nuclear weapons or even a nuclear defense system. But a recent conflict that we were involved in has shown us the need for these weapons of mass destruction.
Our nations would like to purchase, if possible, nuclear weapons and a missile defense network capable of working from space.

You may want to join the Nuclear Mutual Defense Treaty and join us all in a joint project of creating nuclear arms. My Nation is quite happy to provide you with nuclear arms of 100Kiloton, 200 Kiloton, 500 Kiloton, 1 Megaton, 5 Megaton or 10 Megaton Nuclear warheads in the next comming week.

You may want to place an order if you wish to and i will be able to provide you with the strongest nuclear warhead at max strength of 20 Megaton.

50MT, 100MT and 200MT will not be available untill later. My country however has possession of 500Megaton Nuclear Warhead, however it is too big therefore only five of them were only in production as opposed to the original plan to have 50 quantities of 50Megaton nuclear warhead.

However we will continue to build 50 Megaton, 100 Megaton and 200 Megaton warheads. But we are strongly encouraged to build smaller warheads for now which consists of 50Kiloton, 100 Kiloton, 200 Kiloton, 500 Kiloton, 1 Megaton, 2 Megaton, 5 Megaton, 10 Megaton and 20 Megaton.

umm, how could you possible afford it? Your entire defense budget is just over 6 billion. It would be way out of your budget to do that. It would cost far more then you have, even in you had nukes and NOTHING ELSE.

OOC: There's a coalition of smaller nations that banded together and pooled their cash to make a nuclear program. The 100+ Megaton stuff is utter bunk, but they do have some warheads. I would suggest buying nukes from an established storefront like UEMS, though. And Falkasia has the best-value space-based missile defenses I've seen.

OCC: Wow, when another nation specifically suggests a storefront or some other service you created, that's when you know you've been on nationstates to long...Anyway, thanks for the vote of confidence Salzland.

United Gordonopia, what Salzland said is true. I do offer nuclear weapons in addition I also sell a nuclear weapons program for those interested in getting a basic program up and running quickly and at a reduced cost. Finally, as not to turn this into a complete spam post I thought at least a little IC reply was necessary.

Edit: After processing the orders, I noticed you had placed an order for a nuclear weapons program with my company already before I first posted this message. Just to let you know I confirmed your order.

To Whom it may concern,

Our government has been made aware through 3rd party individuals that your nation is seeking the acquisition of nuclear weapons in the defense of your nation. While, we agree with you that these are terrible weapons that should never have been invented nor ever used again in anger, like you as an independent and neutrality nation our people felt compelled to acquire a nuclear arsenal just in case one day a hostile power should threaten us for whatever reason with a war of annihilation. Thankfully, we have never needed to call on our nuclear arsenal in the defense of our way of life. In fact, the development of our nuclear program had the side benefit of growing our economy in various ways, one of them was the advancement of our understanding of nuclear science that led to the creation of advance and safe civilian nuclear power planets in the use of generating cheap and mostly renewable energy.

With all that stated, our main defense company UEMS produces a wide range of nuclear warheads of various sizes, it also offers a nuclear weapons program for those nations just starting to build their nuclear weapons stockpile. If, you should be interested you can contact me directly or the company itself for additional information.

Sincerely, Chancellor Wolfgang Muller

From: Andras Lasarkis, Secretary to the Crown.
To: His/Her Excellency, the Head of State for Gordonopia.
Re: Defence issues.

Your Excellency,

The Empire of New Chalcedon has been made aware of the need of United Gordonopia's need for nuclear deterrance systems, but your lack of currently-available facilities to construct them yourselves. Whilst we consider nuclear weapons to be terrible indeed, we also recognise them to be a reality and a strategic necessity. Hence, His Majesty the Emperor, in conjunction with the Imperial Estates, has directed me to convey our offer as follows:

First, the Empire of New Chalcedon is prepared to place a market-price bid for the systems of Gordonopia's choice. We can ship most common sizes of warheads, as well as delivery systems, directly out of our stockpiles and replace them by our own manufacture. In addition to paying market price, Gordonopia will undertake to observe a "no first use" principle.

Second, the Empire suggests that Gordonopia establish an Embassy with us, in order to facilitate such transfer.

Third, in order that such weapons be less likely to be needed, the Empire is prepared to establish a mutual defence treaty. Bear in mind, this treaty will only protect Gordonopia from aggression. If Gordonopia provokes or attacks another power, the Empire will not intervene to defend Gordonopia. The reverse would naturally apply.

Please contact us with your response at your convenience.

Regards,

Andras Lasarkis,
Baron Lasarkis of Novoa Ruhtinalyne,
Secretary to the Crown.

OOC:

Probably not the right place for me to say this but I can understand the need to blow stuff up. It's fun. But there is really no need for 100MT bombs let alone 500MT bombs unless you're expecting aliens to invade to the Earth. 50-80Mt will wipe event the largest cities off the NS Earth. But nevermind- everyone to his or her own.

Short Official Response from the Holy Empire

We strongly urge United Gordonopia not to join the nuclear alliance treaty and program known as Nuclear Mutual Defense Treaty. There is no one powerful state holding the leash on these somewhat rougue nations and a great deal of suspcion has fallen on that particular alliance for their radical pro-nuclear policy- particularly in a world where it is commonly regarded as unfortunate to have nuclear weapons.

However in light of your willingness to seek nuclear weapons but stressing the fact that you're state would rather not procure such weapons despite the situation then we would think it highly beneficial to enter into a joint nuclear programme with a larger and more responsible nation than an alliance of countries who haven't proven themselves on the world stage yet. We are not directly putting the Holy Empire of Stevid into the frame (However we are willing to help you establish a safe and secure nuclear weapons programme on a one-on-one basis with no third parties- plus further economic, political and military clauses we might be able to discuss), but any other large and friendly countries with nuclear weapons will be willing to help.

But joining an alliance that promotes the spread and sale of these weapons is the wrong road to take. Both politically and morally.
