Official Diplomatic Statement of Her Free Majesty's Government.
The Kingdom of Iredel.
The Kingdom of Iredel, Queen Alexandria and the Iredeli Government wishes to announce to the world the creation of the Iredeli Embassy Programme, the first of its kind in the Kingdom of Iredel. The programme will oversee the creation of foreign embassies in Iredel from all types of nations, from small republics to huge empires. The Iredeli Government wishes to state that it will not reject any embassy application form on the grounds of the applying nation's background, culture, economics, politics or anything of the kind.
In order to be granted an embassy in Iredel, all interested nations must follow the Embassy Titles, a short 'rulebook' which details the rules on embassies in Iredel. This includes guidelines on many things regarding the embassy and how to request an embassy in Iredel.
Her Free Majesty, Queen Alexandria, sends his kindest greetings to all the nations of the world, and expresses his hope that relations with Iredel between all nations will grow.
The Embassy Titles.
The Embassy Titles is a short 'rulebook' of sorts detailing the 'rules' of all embassies in Iredel.
In the Embassy Titles, the Kingdom of Iredel will be referred to as 'Iredel' and the nations of the world as 'the applying nation(s)', in order to make the Titles as understandable as possible.
Title I. The Embassy.
Article I. The Rights of the Embassy.
Each embassy in Iredel and its entire staff will be granted full diplomatic immunity the moment the applying nation is granted an embassy in Iredel. However, all embassy staff must be confirmed by the nation they represent, in order to avoid and misunderstandings between Iredel and the applying nations.
The embassy itself has full diplomatic immunity, once it is confirmed.
Article II. The Law of Embassy Numbers.
In order to avoid overcrowding, the Iredeli Government places a limit on the number of embassy staff permitted in this embassy programme. Despite all embassy staff having full diplomatic immunity, Her Free Majesty's Government wishes to state that it will not tolerate more than fifty diplomats and guards working in the embassy. The individual numbers of diplomats and guards will remain untouched, but the total number of embassy staff cannot exceed fifty.
Article III. Limits on Weaponry and Vehicles.
Her Free Majesty's Government will also put a limit on the numbers of embassy weaponry and vehicles. Following advice from the Iredeli Defence Ministry, weaponry is limited to regular assault rifles, such as M16s and AK-47s, along with any arms made by the nation applying which are classified as 'regular assault rifles'. The limits on the number of arms, however, shall be placed at the number of embassy guards, meaning that each embassy guard should have a weapon.
Must vehicles are welcome, as long as they are not military make and are not armed in any way.
Article IV. Embassy Locations.
Throughout the duration of this programme, embassy locations shall be limited to Kings Avenue, a large avenue in the city centre of the capital Islington; October Road, a large street famous for its cafes and restaurants, located in Islington and November Row, a street known for it's large mansions, upper-class living and peacefulness, located in the far west of Iredel, in the peaceful area of Sarling, well known for it's green countryside.
Also, for Iredel's closest allies lies an embassy in September Palace, one of the Royal Family's five palaces. September Palace is usually the residence of the Royal Family itself during autumn, or Fall. Be aware that routine security checks will be performed by the Royal Security Services and that security guards will be strictly forbidden, due to September Palace being guarded fiercely by some of the best Iredeli soldiers around. September Palace will have four of its grand halls turned into embassies whenever very special relationships develop with some countries.
