Hampstead, Maryland, East Congaree

East Congaree's Army of Northern Virginia didn't sleep well, knowing that they would thrust into GWO territory the next day. On Friday, February 13th at 1:00 AM East Congaree Eastern Standard time, hundreds of 75mm and 125mm artillery pieces were snuck up to a few miles of the border. Coming out of Baltimore, a flight of 100 MiG-29s and 50 TU-16s loaded to capacity with bombs began a flight for Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where they aimed to destroy all supplies that could be shipped to GWO forces on the Maryland border. At 3:00 A.M., the planes circled above Baltimore, preparing for orders to head North. when it was agreed upon that they could begin their northward flight, artillery rumbled at GWO border positions at the Maryland border.

A flight of 70 MiG-21s from Charleston, Virginia, East Congaree, each filled to capacity with cannon rounds and toting a couple bombs, headed to the border with GWO to bomb any defenses there. They were supported by a couple thousand fast-firing 75mm artillery pieces, and several 125mm artillery pieces near the border. After the bombardment ended, 400 T-34 tanks and 250 T-55 tanks aimed to rush across the border, and make a fast offensive to Pittsburgh, GWO. Behind them were 250,000 infantrymen, ready to follow the tanks.

2,000 militiamen, supported by 1,000 infantry regulars attacked border stations in GWO's area of Carbon province, formerly labled as "Kansas". Supporting them were a few dozen 75mm artillery pieces and several T-34 tanks that had seen their better days. As if they could not think of a better strategy, they charged the GWO border.

Deleware Bay, East Congaree

20,000 East Congaree Marines, flanked by 10 Osa Class missile boats, prepared to land at Cape May, GWO. The Osa class missile boats planned to go on ahead and clear out shore defenses with their machine guns, and hoped that their Styx anti-ship missiles would have some affect on the industrial areas they were fired at. After all, factories, warheouses and harbor gasoline facilities weren't ships.

Uranium Province, New England

"By Josey Scott, what the hell is going on? EC is fucking invading!" shouted a "Bigwig" at the Uranium Control Tower, directed at the Count of Uranium.

"I want every Air Superiority Force in the air NOW, get those damn MiGs out of the air. I also want every cannon and missile system capable of hitting them to beat the hell out of them. Notify the Baron and the Spire, we've got some serious shit going on."

On the ground, the border stations had been overrun rather quickly. The GWO had never expected a war with its Southern neighbors, and thus, didn't defend its borders with them (Except for patrols to look for escaping blacks, etc).

In the air, EA-18G Growlers, F23s, and F-22s were scrambled, quickly acting to jam EC communications and RADAR systems. AA systems on the ground were puking out anything to get those damn MiGs away.

On the ground, GWO reaction forces had been sent. The first "Speedbump" was a force of 250 Divine Tigers, 60 AH-64 Apaches, and 2,600 Mechanized Infantry units.

Carbon Province

The Reaction Force there was quicker and more prepared. 45 Divine Tigers were sent, along with a Regiment of Mechanized Infantry, many of them carrying SMAW rocket launchers and M202A1s. Above, three F-35s and a Growler were prepared to jam communications and drop 2,000-pound JDAMs on the charging EC forces.

Eastern Seaboard

The EC Marines were confronted by 10 T-212 Submarines, as well as 150 Marine Attack Boats. As for air support, 30 F-35s and five Growlers were deployed, armed with Anti-Shipping Munitions.

Near Red Lion, PA,GWO

"Advance!" , an armored division major screamed, attempting to force a crossing of the all too shallow Susquehanna river. At some places further North, it was just a few feet deep, so infantrymen wouldn't face much sloshing across it. The tanks, however, had to be loaded onto stolen boats in the deeper portions of the river. Other tanks crossed on bridges, while some tanks stayed behind to continue to bombard border positions on the Eastern side of the river. Artillery was towed further into occupied territory, attempting to smash whatever armored assault the GWO threw at them. Several MiGs and a couple TU-16s fell before crossing the Susquehanna and leashing out hell on Harrisburg. All across Maryland, Deleware, and Virginia, SAMs and AA guns were pointed skyward ready to defend GWO aircraft that headed southward. A few dozen of both MiG-21s and MiG-23s were scrambled to put a dent in any incoming GWO air assault.

The Osa missile boats instead focused their effors on whatever marine attack boats came. With 10 of the gunboats, they could fire off 40 of the styx missiles, and then have their 12.7MM for AA against the F-35s. Infantrymen aboard the transport boats would take shots at any aircraft that might fly too low, too. The Deleware bay also housed four East Congaree whiskey class submarines, all of which fired off their two 1000kg warhead missiles at Cape May before heading to attack the enemy submarines. From Hamtpon Roads Naval base, Virginia, 20 Sovremenny class destroyers were also called up to assist in the landing.

Carbon province, GWO

500 militiamen and 100 infantrymen fell to the JDAM blasts. In addition, they lost all but two of their T-34s, and a couple artillery pieces. The artillery peices were asked to divert their fire to the Divine Tigers, while the T-34s would head North, and then attack the Divine Tigers in the rear. Almost pathetically, the infantrymen stood behind natural structure, hoping to get a lucky shot down a barrel of a Divine Tiger.

Baja California, East Congaree

30,000 East Congaree marines supported by 100,000 East Congaree army infantrymen, the infamous 20,000 Strong Sonora rangers, 150 T-72 tanks and 100 T-55 tanks, along with scores of 75mm and 125mm artillery pieces, made a push forward to San Diego, California Province, GWO. Outside of San Diego harbor was almost the entirety of the East Congaree Pacific fleet, 100 Sovremenny class destroyers, 200 Kashin class destroyers, 200 Jianghu-I class frigates, 40 Whiskey class submarines, and a whopping 1,500 Osa class missile boats. As if that wasn't bad enough, 30 MiG-21s and 20 TU-22 bombers loaded to capacity bombed the border defences, so the ground component wouldn't have much trouble crossing the border.
