Four Heatons News Service

This morning Rebels from Heaton Norris, fired a salvo of rockets over the border into Heatons Mersy and Chappel. The Rebels who are attempting to start the war again between our allied States, are beleived to have seized a large Four Heatons Army supply. The Four Heatons Military is beleived to be planning a military strike to destroy the rebels before they break up our nation and plunge us into another civil war.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, the President of the Allied States" Press Secutary Kilon announced.
Alanna walked into the room and onto the podium.
"Be seated" She said "Five minutes ago I signed Executive order 244, it orders the Four Heatons military to enter Heaton Norris and destroy teh rebels. Our attempts at diplomacy have failed, this is our only options, may god be with us this day"

Heaton Norris/Heaton Mersy Border

"We've got the order" The Colonol announced to the gathered soldiers "Today we shall take action to prevent our nation from braking apart, lets move out"
The 1st Four HEatons Regiment mounted up on Bradly IFV's and on foot and crossed the Border. Once across they broke into their units and began to spread out. Above them two Squadrons of F-22 Raptors flew ahead of the ground force sped into Heaton Norris in search of any hard targets. Several Squadrons of Commanche Scout/Attack chopper followed the army over the border.

OOC: Ok, I need someone to play the rebels please, they've got army weapons but no military vehicles just civvie cars, also International interest is ok as long as it's not a 'lets take out a small contry ovver their internal affairs' invasion please

A town near the border.

10 men huddled in the well concealed room in the basement. They were all watching the address from the useless president they had been forced to endure. The picture now shifted to show pieces of military hardware coming pouring across the water. It was obvious that some of the ploys of the last three months had worked. They obviously though there were more in the alliance than there were. Max turned to the rest. "My Brothers... today we fight... for the alliance."

On a roof top.

The f22's had passed by so fast there was no way they could have spotted the two rebels on the roof. The hum of the rotors was bearing down on their position. Christopher looked at his brother. They steeled themselves, "For the alliance!" they said in unison.

Christopher switched the Javelin to "Direct Attack Mode", and listened intently to the incoming choppers, he peeked out from behind the chimney that was concealing them, quickly spotting the lead chopper, the lock was instantaneous, he pulled the trigger and the missile sprung out from the weapon... it hung in the air for a fraction of a second, but it was long enough for Christopher to doubt what was coming next, then the missile fired and it streaked away... on a dead heading for the chopper not more than 150 feet away. He glanced at his brother Ryan, his missile was also streaking away... toward another target.... for a second he allowed himself the pride knowing that his family had been honored to start the fight, to topple the bastards...

After that second he and his brother started to pound the stairs there would be a reprisal and they had much more fight left.

"Missile track 044, pop flares and pull up" The Co-pilot shouted urgently, the Pilot responded instantly popping the flare canister and applying the collective, teh chopper rose and the missile grazed the underbelly
"We're ok, they've damaged the weapons bay, it's stuck open" The Co-Pilot commented
"Can we still fire from it?"
"Even If we couldn't we'vve still got EFAM's"
"Hows Griffin three doing?"
"They evaded it completely"
"Get me a lock ont eh building that came from"
"Got it"
"Fire Hyrdas"
Four Hydra missiles flew from the COmmanche and into the building, which promptly collapsed

OOC: Direct fire mode it can be used against a helicopter, with varied success within 50 meters. I'm playing them small but well versed in improvisation.

Christopher was sprinting down the street as the building dropped to the ground, he glanced back as the building fell to the ground, he didn't know where his brother was but he had to get to cover. He darted across the street.

"Get some people into that town" The Pilot told his Co-Pilot who radioed to the Colonol "And Get me thremal up, I want warning"

OOC: Climate and Terrin is basicaly England, so terreain of towns is moslt flat though some towns go into vallys, much of the countryside is flat, though again with vallys and quite a few hills
