Soviet Invaders Destroyed !
Last night, the Soviet forces in our glorious capital of Ironglass were finally encircled and destroyed by our mighty Motherland Defence Legions!
Fighting was alleged to be brutal and costly for all concerned, but our brave Legionnaires fought the Soviet invaders to breaking point.
A surrender was made by the Soviet commander, General Josef Vostok, but the Legions, horrified at the atrocities that had been commited by the Soviets against innocent civilians, rejected it and slaughtered the Soviet invaders as they had slaughtered Iksandrian women and children!
This victory has signalled a new beginning for Our Glorious Republic, and to commemorate this new beginning, our great leader, Senator Visari, made a public speech broadcast all over the homeland.
"My people. Sons and daughters of Iksandria.
For many years, we have been a broken nation. Shunned, oppressed, and conqured by those we sought to escape! 3 years ago, I asked for time, and that time was granted by you. You, the strength in my arm, the holders of my dreams.
In the time you have given me, I have rebulit our nation, I have rebuilt our strenth, and I have rebuilt our pride! Our enemies at home have been reeducated. We have given them new insights into our cause. On this day, we stand united once more. On this day, those driven to divide us will hear our voice! On this day, we shall act as one, and we shall be ignored NO MORE!
Defenders of the Iksand dream, NOW IS OUR TIME!"
