Secret IC: Inside a windowless bunker, sat dozens of people behind consoles. Large projection screens lined one wall, and there was a clock under the largest screen, counting down towards zero. The largest screen showed a silo door, which had begun slowly opening. The facility's commander was standing at his own console, talking on a closed circuit comm system with the people at the other consoles, making sure they were ready for launch. Lights on his console turned from red to green, indicating completed readiness checks, and the clock on the wall read T -00:00:15. It continued to slowly counted down to T -00:00:00, then the commander pressed the launch button. The large, modified LGM-30 Minuteman rocket roared out of the silo, and was soon headed for its destination. Several minutes later it released its payload, a new encrypted communications satellite in geostationary orbit. It wasn't a new military communications satellite though, but a new premium satellite TV system. Designed for better reception in all weather conditions, it was also designed to be harder to hack.
