Imperial Colony of Krusi
When the new Observation Grid which was a series of huge and powerful satellites had been activated all of a sudden Phenixica had eyes and ears all over their space, but on Krusi a weird presence had been detected of Qwelva Origin which naturally got the Empire's attention straight away and the local Outpost was told to send out a Team to investigate.

The Pelican Dropship fly's over inside was a group of 6 soldiers, 1 Legionary and 5 Colonial. With rifles in hand they were to simply scout out the area in search for whatever this was.

"So what do we know about this Commander?" one of the colonials asked

"We picked up something of Qwelva origin on this world, we were unaware this world was under the control of the Republic but since we detected lifeforms we are being sent in to make sure they are not Qwelva and just some animals or pirates"

As the pelican lands they climb off, the Pelican also drops a warthog in case the men need a quick escape in this jungle environment. As they walk forward then enter a narrow passage through the hills and clicking noise is all around them. 2 men are told to stay behind to guard their rear from attack but as they got further in and the tree cover started to get thicker they turned on the lights attached to their Machine Guns as they get deeper they look to the walls to see it look like walls made of mud, The command looked at it carefully and then said somewhat shaken.

"I have seen this pattern at School, but where? Do you recognize it Private Wellington?"

"No, but I didn't take those courses in school. I joined the garrison because I liked the thought of serving the Empire, did you hear that Commander Cellin?"

Clicking noises had starting again, before they knew it they heard their Radio's go static and quiet but for a second in between there was panic in whoever was on the other side. The Commander was in panic as the clicks went away and then he realized where he had seen those mud walls before.

"A Qwelva Hatchery, shit this place must be ancient. They have not existed since the Formation of the Qwelva Republic" The other two panic and their guns point at all attention looking all around, then it jumped down in front of them just outside a cave that would of gone down to a entire nest of Qwelva which good be as large of 120,000 strong. It was holding a spear with it's two claws they were all in shock as it approached them and the Commander was quick to give the order.

"retreat back to the warthog!"

All of a sudden hundreds with chasing them and as they passed by the two dead soldiers they knew the Qwelva were mocking them, typical tactic of the Qwelva was psychological warfare and ambush. As they jumped into the Warthog they rushed out as the Colonial Soldier on the back gun fired like crazy behind them mowing down Qwelva as they jumped over their own dead...all this was doing was driving the Qwelva insane with rage.

As they kept driving they ordered the Pelican to pick them up, it dropped down above it and connected to the warthog picking it up carrying the soldiers. It was a risky move but had to be done, this had to be reported to the Imperial Court right away.

Our arch nemesis, the Qwelva is still alive and the Phenixican Empire had to decide what to do with them.

((OOC:To explain the Qwelva appearance as simply as possible. They are Xenomorphs from Aliens in build except their face is like a Horse skull as in the skin covers just over it and without a nose with the eyes of a fly. They were a advanced space-faring race but what happened to them will be explained. The next few posts will be more interesting))

The Empress was called immediately when the word reached Devenis of the situation, Qwelva were still alive and by the looks of it have suffered a complete collapse of their society.

There was a emergency meeting in the Imperial Senate with some people from the Court also coming in to discuss the matter.

"What do we know about this Qwelva colony?" asked High Commander Jerald

"Primitive, it's been in existence since the Qwelva Queendom. The Qwelva Republic breed closer to home but this planet still uses traditional breeding methods which makes me think it was lost by the Republic and they never bothered finding it" This was PEACS Scientist George after this many different voices rang out across the large room

"So this planet has no relation to the Republic?"

"Has no relation to any of the organized Qwelva States, they have breed along a primitive level of early society to form nothing more then the Insect Colonies that was the Qwelva when the Aius first attacked them. The planet is more habitable then Serdiers so they can thrive, the question really is should we allow them to continue on their current course or reintroduce them to their society"

The Empress looks deep in thought, her Father told her about the Qwelva in their prime before the Disease that destroyed their nation. Beforehand he had a audience with the remaining members of the Qwelva Government to talk to them about what was to be done. First most known fact is Phenixica cannot touch a world occupied by the Qwelva to keep them in memory but it also stated that if the Qwelva did survive Phenixica would aid them in rebuilding their nation.

"How would we go about rebuilding the Republic? Do they even use the Qwelva language?"

"They use a older dialect, their clicking noises are higher and quicker and they obviously have no knowledge of outside language until they are taught. If we were to rebuild the Republic we would have to teach a few of them first and let the knowledge spread. The only problem is we would be bound by treaty to hand over power to the Republic when it is strong enough to control it's old borders and then we have to take out our colonist"

"That would not be for centuries"

The Empress decided to talk

"My father made a agreement, if we find Qwelva we help them rebuild and we have found Qwelva. We don't have to abide by it because these Qwelva could live happily for a thousand years before they go into space travel but we have a obligation to carry out this final request of a dying race. We will educate them in their own language, when they know how to read we will slowly transport the colony to Serdiers where they can slowly rebuild their cities and hopefully learn and educate themselves in Qwelva Culture. I am not asking you to help out of the love of the Qwelva but it's a case of honor and the simple fact we made a promise, This is not a promise my father made to make the Republic happy he made it because he knew that the existence of the Qwelva was under threat and he honestly wanted to help them rebuild"

"What benefit is their to our Empire?"

"The Benefit of keeping to our word, The Phenixican trait my father loved the most was our sense of Honor and Service"

The debate would continue, but slowly they were deciding that the Qwelva could be a powerful ally in this modern world of Inter-Galactic Diplomacy.

The Empress entered the Temple building to talk with the Templar, the highest rank in the Order of the Burning Sky. She wanted to speak to Harris, the Lord Protector of the Temple.

"I know what your going to ask, what is my opinion on the fate of the Qwelva"

"That was classified, most of the military does not know yet"

"We have served as the Empires de-facto intelligence agency for centuries. We always know everything about what happens in the Empire"

"Well what do you think? They could live perfectly well in their current state and not bother us for centuries. The treaty signed said that we were to help in rebuilding the nation and that goes to this situation"

"You want to know why your father agreed to that treaty?"

"He wanted to legally control the fate of the Republic"

"that was the reason he gave the government, it was because he thought the best interest of the Citerian was to have more then just one superpower. He saw what would happen, if the Empire went to long without a challenge it would slow down process in area's like research. Ironically the peaceful colonial Phenixican empire thrives under pressure, most of our greatest discoveries were created during wartime like our first FTL drive during the War for Dominance"

"So he was looking at the bigger picture"

"Thats the reason he gave us, the real reason in the end was compassion for the Qwelva as he did not believe it was their time. His motives on such matters were never political but he knew how to manipulate the crowds"

"So what do you think I should do?"

"What your father would do, he would help restore the Qwelva to their greatness. We can survive without Ex-Qwelva space but we cannot survive without some race to make us push forward, we only have 3% of our galaxy explored yet we claim 100% of it. We have plenty of land to colonize"

With this the Empress left, intelligence reports had just arrived about the state of these Qwelva.

The Qwelva Hatchery was as thought left behind during the Qwelva Civil War over a thousand years ago, they had no knowledge of Democracy and a Queen was breeding them. The planet lacked heavy metals on the surface meaning the Qwelva had not been able to advance any further.

She was in her office when a figure appeared at the door, it was a Feline-Humanoid female. It walked towards her with abut 3 male guards, they had been disarmed.

"What do you want Matriach?"

"I heard of the news, it did not occur to the Empire to ask if we want the return of the Qwelva?"

"No reason, for starters the original agreement was signed by the Empire and Confederacy so only members of the independent confederacy would have a right to have a opinion. Secondly you are formally under the control of the Phenixican Empire, you signed away your rights to a opinion when you agreed to use taking over responsibility for Galactic Security and the down-sizing of your fleets...oh and lets not forget even if this was not the case I would like to see the Hursi try and tell us what is solely our business"

"You cannot block us out"

"Like I said, you signed away those rights. Why would you care about their return? Mystic Space has never been anywhere close to the Qwelva"

"The Qwelva under the control of a Queen is aggressive, The Queendom during it's reign had no borders it just conquered randomly. Why do you think the Independent Confederacy only became a superpower after the civil war? The Republic was organized but weaker in a military sense, giving back their homeworld would see a huge boast in their numbers and they will adapt to the new technology in a decade"

"The Phenixican Empire is much more powerful then you know, we would keep control of most of their planets until they can populate them. The expansion would be slow and might take about two centuries until the Qwelva have complete control of there old space"

"You will regret this?"

"Mystic Space is little threat to us, we have spent many years molding you into nothing but pets we can use for our amusement. Now leave"

Several Phenixican Legionaires enter rifles pointing at the Hursi, the Empress was well prepared for this attempt of intimidation and then she said.

"We have powers in area's far beyond your comprehension"

The Government had received complaint after complaint from the Hursi and Orc-Suri nations. Phenixica was not interested, they started to organize the transport of the Qwelva to Serdiers. It would be done by teleportation technology using a door sized warpgate at the colonies entrance which would be one way.

They would pump enough energy into the gate to make it thick enough to do a mirror effect thus the Qwelva when they exist through the only exist would be stuck on Serdiers and because the whole hive will move out of the Colony sometimes during the first 2 days it should be smooth. If the queen doesn't move out it should be OK, what happens is the female Qwelva can breed until another queen takes it's place. A queen breeds at about 15% of the rate of say a Ant Queen.

The Empire will use the colony on Serdiers moon as a lookout, to check on progress because when they find the old Qwelva Cities and then the Empire will leave behind messages which should help them translate. When they can read and write in the Rep-Qwelva dialect they should boom in technology.

After they start space exploration they will do a contact mission and communicate, with them to start diplomatic relations. The Phenixican Empire had not had contact with a Qwelva Queen since the War for Dominance little did they know the difference it made.
