Her exceptional gift of foresight meant she was not really accepted in usual society, her parents wanted the best for her.

She read the letter as she stepped up the marble steps.

DEAR STUDENTS

THE ACADEMY IS CELEBRATING THOSE VERY SPECIAL FEW WHO HAVE EXTRA SPECIAL GIFTS THAT COULD BE USED TO SERVE GOOD IN MODERN SOCIETY.

PLEASE ENJOY YOUR STAY HERE, THERE ARE SEVERAL TUTORS WHO WILL LOOK AFTER YOU PERSONALLY, YOUR MENTORS.

THERE ARE LOOSE RULES HERE, JUST RESPECT OTHERS AND RESPECT THE GENEROUS CURFEW ENFORCED BY YOUR MENTORS

OOC: Yeah, and what is "Especially Gifted" meant to mean? Very very intelligent, or people with "powers"?

(Or people with some kind of disability? It sounds good, we just need some more info)

(and if it's people with powers, there is already the Super Hero School, and a takeoff of that (that hasn't started) in Hunting the Empowered (AKA, Especially Gifted))

((basically what the rp is, its to form a small army of especially gifted people, it can be anything, not neccesarily a super-power, I guess if there is already a super hero school then I'm on a hiding to nothing :P)

OOC: You're technically way behind Fen - not only is there a Super Hero School, but an organisation in my nation has been recruiting people and giving them special abilities for almost 100 years, resulting in a rather large (if secretive) army.

OOC: One of the Blackguards had a convincing, limited and temporary power which died as quickly as it awakened through an ethically questionable experiment, far before most Gary and Mary Sues came with their uber-powahs, which was only for the sake of character development rather than just for "looking cool".

OOC: Wasn't my thread. The "Superhero School" was something started by North Calaveras. The "organisation" I reffered to is an internal affair for my nation. They are also not a educatory body, but a fully fledged millitary and R&D operation, with ties to several governments bar my own.
