Tubaui'n military surplus for sale(second hand storefront)

Tubaui
05-02-2009, 21:21
Due to a complete reconstruction of all three branches of the tubaui’n armed forces, lots of surplus military equipment, having been phased out of the tubaui’n forces for more modern equipment, is now lying in large stockpiles. The tubaui’n government attempted to feed the small arms and light equipment back into the civilian market, with limited success, yet there were still thousands of pieces of used military hardware under tubaui’n control.

The tubaui’n government has entered the global military market, with a large range of military hardware for sale at the stated price.

OOC: allright this is how its gonna go - i put my old equipment on here - someone buys it - i delete it from the storefront and put it on the archive.

as you may know, the tubaui'n government has currently put on the market many pieces of military equipment, which have been publicly bid on by M.A.C. heavy industries, and also an undisclosed amount of money has been offered for an indisclosed amount of the goods by ASoGM. due to these conflicting offers we have decided to cut the time till the end of the bid, but not to end the sale prematurely. the sale will close at 9pm GMT (today) upon which the hardware will be shipped to the highest bidder, thank you.

The head of state of Tubaui and other neccessary officials;

We have been notified of your current Tubaui'n military surplus sale, and we were curious about one of the types of aircraft up for sale: BAE Systems/Boeing Harrier GR9 generation two vertical/short takeoff and landing fighter jet. However, it appears that they have been sold to Anghelean MAC Heavy Industries. We wish to inquire whether other such aircraft are available for purchase by the Commonwealth.

Upon reviewing the options your commonwealth has offered us,
We have come to the conclusion that it would be logically more viable for your aircraft carrier to procure the harrier jump jets in question from our capital port of noarsmouth. we have place the harrier's in question in storage pending your arrival.
thank you, we await the aircraft carrier with baited breath.

The PS Charge glided over the smooth seas. This'll be her last real mission, reflected its captain, Aiken Brooks, of around fifteen years aboard the ship. Then we're off to performing in the bay with all the tourists, taking on hot shots to pratice with those Harriers we're buying, and turn into a museum. The boat continued to travel across the wide sea on its way to Tubaui accompanied by the five frigates, just in case the floating museum was to be harmed. The Charge was once the pride of the Kenavtan Navy, but now the pesky Ford-class 'supercarriers' are here, no talk of keeping the Charge, the nostalgic Brooks wiped a tear off of his face.

Fifty-six hours later

The carrier cruised just within sight of land, than entered the bay of Noarsmith, and waited for notification to be able to dock, trying to signal some sort of Docking Authority.

officer Griggs sighed, he'd been called back into office for a double shift today, due to a yacht collision against the east harbour wall.
Checking the Radar again, he noticed a group of foreign signatures heading closer to the docks, a trawler group maybe?

"Carmen, what's that formation at 27, 64, 81, bearing north north-east?" Griggs asked his surveillance officer.

"thats a foreign Carrier group sir." Carmen replied instantly.

"escorted?" Griggs asked, they always were, but it was better to be sure.

"erm, not by any of ours sir." Carmen replied, annoyingly fast once again.

"What? does the Navy even know their there?" Griggs asked urgently.

"Yes sir, we've been in contact with them for the last six hours, the've come from Kenavt for some old Naval air wing Harriers." Carmen said to a confused Griggs.

"Well, bring them in then."

RE: Surplus equipment

We currently have a large stock of older AK-74 assault rifles, and while many have been sold on our civilian market, there are more then we know what to do with.

Selling at $25 USD a piece, most of the rifles are well worn. Most have been in use for several years, and have been phased out for new production weapons. They range from late 70's to mid 90's manufacture and may come with wood or plum/black plastic and no magazines. All rifles are guaranteed to come with a cleaning kit, however. The beautiful old craft steamed into the dock as the other escorts waited outside of the bay, as to not scare the civilians. Quickly the planes were loaded and then the Charge was off, as soon as it had come, without barely a stop for shore leave. The last mission, reflected Brooks. The last.
