<Downtown Tren'Lar>

Sirens shattered the air as a squadron of police cars sped down the street in pursuit of a van ahead of them. speeding through traffic seeral cars were spun off the road. From ahead of the van antoher trio of cars were seen blocking off the road.

The Van skidded to a stop and the following cars blocked off the road from the other side. About five men scrambled from the van weilding AK's and the like and began firing at the police officers.

"Control, 10-45, shots fired, code six requsting SWAT"

The Patrol officers were out-gunned and they knew it. They kept their heads down and tried to fire back at the suspects.
"Where the hell is SWAT?" A Sergeant asked 5 minutes into the firefight.
From above a faint whur could be heard.
Two Police helicoptors appeared. SWAT offcers on the choppers fired down at the suspects. One of the suespects went into the van and pulled soomething out. When he pointed t up towards one of the choppers the surronding officers and civvvies gasped.

A stream of smoke sped from the object, it was a rocket launcher. It tracked towards the helicoptor and impacted on the tail rotor. The chopper began to spin and eventually crashed into the crowd of civvies.

Over twenty people were killed today in a police shoot-out turned blackhawk down as a Police helicoptor was shot down. Of the Twenty people some were suspected to be forgegin nationals...

It is disgusting how a nation cannot promise safety and security to foreign travelers residing within its borders, and how its leadership has the nerve as to deny families of the helpless victims any support for their tragic losses. The Premier was quick to order diplomatic and economic sanctions on the nation known as The Battlehawk. An embargo was also placed into effect, and the Erusean military was on standby for orders.

OOC: I'll jump in with a victim. If you don't like it though, I'll delete it.

IC: Jack Frist was standing on the sidewalk when the police chase abruptly stopped in sight of him. He pulled out his digital camcorder, and began taping the battle. He felt relatively safe taking cover behind a big steel postal box, and oddly enough, his royal blue shirt was a fair match to the blue paint of the postal box. Jack could here the helicopter overhead, but thought nothing of it. At least, not until the RPG hit it, sending it into an uncontrolled spin. Jack tried to run, but in his haste, stumbled. That stumble cost him his life, as he was cut down by the explosion and flying shrapnel. The last image his video camera caught, was a pool of Jack's blood forming in front of it.


Hearing about the incident on the news, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs drafted a letter to The Battlehawk government, asking for them to ship Jack Frist's body and personal effects back to the ASoGM, as early as was possible.

Strolling though the city of Battle Hawk on a tourist visa Ted and his family were visiting; it was there first vacation in 10 years; and the first since Ted and Mary had married; mostly because of Ted’s fear of flying; but Mary had convinced him that it was completely unfounded and that air planes were ‘as safe as houses’ and that he had more chance of being hit my lightning several times than being in an air crash and she had been right of course; Ted had chugged two pills and woken up a time later in Battle Hawk. There daughter Five Year old Stacy and Son Eleven year old Jonathan were running slightly ahead of Ted and Mary; Stacy was celebrating her fifth birthday; as kids do; “You two slow down, your father isn’t as young as he used to be” Mary called out rolling her eyes; and it was true, Ted was now in his forties; and though reasonable fit for his age, junk food and lack of a gym membership plus job of IT Manager had taken its toll on his body. It was an ordinary family vacation, simple; clear skies; a distinct lack of sprawling metropolis not like the Capital of there home nation; which was overcrowded; polluted, smog filled and a sprawling morass of neon and steel.

They never really heard the gun fire; or if they did they all mistook it for simple fire crackers; but before they knew it there world all came crashing down around them as a stray round; it may have been from an AK; it may have been for a Police Side arm; that was for others to figure later, it would turn out to be a 9mm Police round but to Ted, it didn’t matter. The round had struck Stacy in the head; killing her instantly; her body; spent five years on this earth only to end up lifeless before it even hit the ground with a soft thud; Ted Stood there; unable to move; a Mental break they would call it later; where something to terrible happens the mind just runs away never to come back. Mary ran to her daughters body; her grey lifeless eyes looking up accusingly at her mother; like someone had hung a ‘you fail at life’ sign around her neck; Mary cradled her daughter sobbing; Jonathan turned to run to his mother, for a moment, time seemed to slow down and everything happened in slow motion; the rocket smoke; the explosion above as it hit the Rotor; Jonathan turning to see when the helicopter fell from the sky; the explosion as it hit the ground. Then time seemed to return to normal as his eyes widened like that of the dear caught in the headlights of an oncoming Semi. A Large piece of Shrapnel; part of the fuselage maybe; came at him spinning; he didn’t even have time to flinch as it decapitated him and just carried on embedding itself in a nearby wall covered in blood.

The family’s lawyer refused to comment as Mary and Ted Knowles held a brief Press Conference this afternoon not long after the tragedy to announce the lawsuit. Meanwhile Demonstrators outside the capital building are calling for the as yet unnamed officer to be extradited to stand trial under Animarnian criminal court; where he could face a potential Death Penalty for Murder

One of the first things FSD agents at "the Academy" in New Haven is DO NOT BECOME INVOLVE. Rarely, once recorded and thrice in reality, agents are ordered to break that rule but unless that occurs FSD agents Do Not Become Involved. Unfortunately, for private Sarah Cowen that wasn't exactly an option.

"SHIT!" She Screamed as she dove for cover at the first gunshots then proceeded to spend the next five minutes swearing as bullets flew back and forth above the car under which she had rolled. She had a 9 mm in a holster slung under her arm and hidden by the coat but drawing it would have completely blown her cover and "you did not get involved". She tried to calmly wait out the firefight before she heard the sound of rotors overhead.

"the hell?" She muttered to herself, "Who sends in heli's when the enemies have got high powered weapons. Oh well it should be fine."

About a half second later she heared the sound of an RPG going off nearby.

"Oh hell! n--" She started to scream before being cut off by a helicopter rotor slicing through the car about a half foot in front of her.

Her hand forced, she rolled from underneath what little cover was left and came up firing the 9mm. Two of the targets went down , hard, before they realized the smallish woman was was shooting at them. Seconds later two more Targets were down and the third wounded but Sarah had taken a round to the back from one of the police 9mm. Fortunately for her she was wearing a vest. Unfortunately she was in custody shortly after with cops and others asking for some serious answers about why a woman happened to be carrying a military quality pistol, wearing military quality light armor and apparently well versed in both tactics and combat shooting.

"Great Laddie. Then get to work on it m'boys." Said the Captain as he turned to a weapons locker. "Let's get everything ready as soon as possible chaps and we'll get going when they give us the go-ahead."

Shocked and angered by the deaths of his Delvirian brethren, the colonel quickly drew out his pistol which was tucked in under his military fatigue jacket. With that he quickly rushed over to an allay way to avoid further fire. "What the hell is going on?, the young colonel said as he gripped tightly on his Beretta. The colonel crouched down slightly and tried to make a run for it, hoping he could get clear away from the barrage of fire. However, as the colonel was making a good enough run he was hit several times in the leg making a complete drop to the ground, landing near a group of officers in that area. Once I was out of cover shooting them was my only option. If your officers were stupid enough to think that a woman with her back turned to them firing at the same people they were firing at was a threat then I think you may need to restructure your police force somewhat."

Jonathan Knowles; was Killed via Sharpnel from Helicopter Marked PFX-U9DZ Soliced Police SWAT Helicopter after it was struck by a Rocket Propelled Grenad; Medical Examiner Jacob Lester finds no ground for indicment in the case of Jonathan Knowles; however finds sufficent evidence for Inditement in the case of Stacy Knowles.

Therefore the Animarnian Crown Prosucution Service in acordance with Animarnian Law has issued an Inditement for Officer Kendell On the following Charges.

One Count Manslaughter In the Second Degree
One Count Negledgent Discharge of a firearm In the First Degree
One Count Dipraved Indiference In the First Degree
One Count Breach of Health and Saftey Law Act 2001

If Battlehawk does not comply with this Official Notice for Extradition the Animarnian Department of Justice will have no choice but to issue an International Arrest warrent valid in the fortress state and her allies where Officer Kendell will be detained On Sight and will be tried in Abanteia or Battlehawk itself could face other concequence.

After receiving the reply from The Battlehawk, another message was drafted, in which the ASoGM informed The Battlehawk that one the body arrived in the ASoGM, an autopsy would be performed, and any forensic evidence found would be shared with Battlehawkian authorities. Meanwhile, Jack Frist's family was notified of his death, and the circumstances in which he was killed. While his family was understandably upset at the manner by which he was killed, they understood that Jack's death was an accident.

For the reasons stated; This is why Officer C Kendell Shield Number 932103; is being charged with Manslaughter in the second degree; since a murder charge requires intent to harm; manslaughter does not and can be applied to negelgent or wrongful death as I'm sure any civilised nation would agree. Manslaughter in the Second Degree carries a jail term of 3-7 years and is not considered a Capital Offence under Animarnian Law. Mr Foerign Minister we are well aware that we have no Extradition treaty with your nation; however that said when anyone dies in this manner; it is a tragedy however when a child dies let alone two Someone has to be seen to held to account. Our Police forces enforce the law; and have to be accountable to that law. no man, woman, rich, poor. slave or king is above the law. Mr Foreign Minister, it has to be said that your government has been somewhat wreckless of lates; we've all seen the images on international news networks of wreckege alledgedly caused by your navys ASMs; and of course the shooting down of an aircraft whom it was revlied on news media had strayed into your airspace on a navigational error and in fact didn't even speak your language; in fact Mr Foriegn Minister your government has been nothing but wreckless yahoo's and this is your chance to prove to the civilised world otherwise.

As for attacking you; Do you think us Barbarians? we have no intention of attacking you, perhaps you resort to violance at first opertunity however we surely do not; not when there are other manners avalable to us; if you still continue to refuse to hand over Officer Kendell will will no choice but to Issue the arrest warrent and try Officer Kendell in absantia.

You made reference to 'other consequnces' if we refused, that could be construded as a threat to attack. As for our other 'Wreklessness' we were not responsible for the sinking of the unidentified ship as no weapons were fired at the ship.

Officer Kendel was Killed in the line of duty confronting an armed bankrobber before his diciplinery procedures could be enacted. We would have agreed with the refered charge of gross neglegence, however that is clearly not possible now.
