For years, since the first Dezanian Civil War, there has never been a most sincere form of government following the Republic Forces victory over the Dezanian Kingdom. The Republic Party of Dezania, the only small forming party in Dezania, promised change for the people if they were to overthrow the unfair Kingdom in 1947. The fall of 1958, the Republic finally had enough soldiers in their small militia to over throw the Kingdom of Dezania and so they did. The outbreak of the civil war brought many people supporting the cause of the Republic, many people were against the Kingdom. As we all predicted, the war only lasted a year with a Republic victory. The King of Dezania and his political advisors were all executed the next following month in 1958. The people cheered when news of the Kingdom's collapse. In 1959, the Republic of Dezania was established but things weren't as they seemed. The Republic lied to us, just to gain our support for the civil war. They never intended to bring us freedom, just to control us. To keep us silent, we had no rights, no right to speak, and certainly no rights to think for ourselves. The oppressive Republic silenced many who were against the regime, mostly politicians and revolutionaries. Living in the Republic is a nightmare itself, the dictator in placed many laws just to keep a tight order on things. For years since the Republic's establishment, the economy was strong, however it took a sharp turn following the beginning of the 1990's throughout the current year of 2009. It is now weak, as the police state is turning more into a psychotic dictatorship. It continues to get weaker because of the harsh laws that are taken into place. The people have finally had it, they no longer wish to live in this strict regime anymore. The wanted change, and they wanted it now.

In 2004, the Republic faced a mortal enemy in it's own state, the Dezanian Vanguard, a group of consisting of retired soldiers from the Dezanian Republican Guard. Most of them hide in the deserts of Dezania training members in their militia. For years now, the government has tried to suppress this growing militia but failed due to poor sources. In 2007, the Vanguard bombed a small military base leaving only 7 survivors. As retaliation, the Dezanian Army opened fire on a group of protestors who were merely protesting for liberal freedom and demanding the Dezanian Vanguard be put into power replacing the current Dezanian Republic Party. The Dezanian news covered their mistakes by telling the nation and the world abroad the the demonstrators, whom were for anarchy, attacked first by throwing rocks at Dezanian troops standing guard. As a result, they were ordered to merely fire warning shots but a protestor fired a shot, killing one of the Dezanian soldiers. This was an obvious lie, people who witnessed this wrote articles about it on the world wide web, hoping someone can see how cynical the Republic really is with it's people. A few small nations urged the Republic to consider to loosening it's grip on civil rights and political rights, but still the Republic refused saying that such actions would ruin the Republic itself with inappropriate revolutionary theories.

December 2008, the Republic was caught by surprise when the Vanguard stormed and attacked the capital. The government soldiers were no match for the Vanguard, as the troops stationed there were outnumbered. Quickly, the leader of the Republic of Dezania was forced to flee the country, not by air but to be escorted in the underground roads leading to a nearby government airport facility. The battle ended with a Vanguard victory, leaving the capital building in ruins. The leader stepped down as president and entrusted his brother, the General of the Dezanian Defense Forces, as the new president of Dezania. This General, whom was General Sudden Hassan, was just as ruthless as his brother but possibly worse. After the attack on the capital, the government moved it's control over to a new city, marking it the new temporary capital. The General's first term as president was a mere nightmare as he declared martial law across the land of Dezania. Anyone caught out during the night were to be executed on sight. People who were supporters of the Vanguard were silenced by death or forced to work in the labor camps.

In the early days of 2009, the Vanguard wanted to reach it's voice out across the world. Hoping that some nation nearby could understand the problem it's been facing for years now. A video was released on the internet, the leader of the Vanguard whom only went by "Charlie", addressed his audience.

"People of Dezania, and across the world. Who's ever watching. I am the leader of the Dezanian Vanguard, as security reasons I will not release my name but you can call me Charlie. For years now my country has been under extreme dictatorship ever since the end of the first Dezanian Civil War, I'm sure most of you know about. It's time democracy and liberty took it's toll on the nation, it's time that this evil Republic step down. We can no longer go on living knowing that our government is against for what we want, freedom. Please, anybody who can understand our problem, help us."
