The past comes back to hunt current President of Allidore, Maria Cona, as her secret lesbian love life is laid bare by a multi-million Allidorean dollar film, directed by the 'godfather of Allidorean film', Manuel García.

Set during the Provinca War, a large internal war in which the descendents of the African slaves brought to Allidore in the 1800s attempt to start a nation by attacking and taking over the two 'eastern provinces', Provinca De Ayala and Provinca Vega. Her squad consists of four; Sergeant Jose El Diego, Corporal Castel Cruz, Private Elena Casilla and herself.

Whenever conscription unfolded, 18-year-old Maria Cona is forced out of university and handed an assault rifle, she is forced to fight her way through the horrors of war in a 'tropical paradise', such as the feared Allidorean Anaconda, which is a confirmed man-eating snake and the rebels, she finds herself drawn to the beautiful and confident Elena Casilla, a conscript yet a great leader.

As she grows ever so closer to Elena, she discovers that you cannot sleep well in the Provinca. One of the feared anaconda snakes makes a move on Maria, but before it can kill Maria, Elena shoots the snake dead with an entire magazine of pistol bullets. That's when Maria made her move on Elena. And she was successful.

As the pair are crawling through the tropical forests to the last rebel camp, the rebels make their Last Stand. Along with a 1,000 others, encircle the camp. As victory looks certain, a rocket propelled grenade is fired at the two, but just a millisecond before it hits, Elena pushes Maria away, safe from the oncoming blast.

Instantly, Maria starts fighting back the tears as she tries to comfort Elena as she dies. Right as Elena is descending to Heaven, Maria kisses her for the last time. As celebrations begin, Maria weeps for long hours over the loss of Elena, before returning to her apartment in Santander, the capital city.

As she arrives in her apartment, she puts down her bags and starts mourning Elena's loss, tearfully saying a prayer for her soul. The 120-minute-long film ends with Maria praying, followed by a quick 'flash of the future' through her next 11 years until it reaches her inauguration as Prime Minister.
