Not all of us can produce our own nuclear armaments. Some of us lack the facilities, the nuclear material, or other items necessary for the production of nuclear weapons. Yet others are prevented by these pesky Greenpeace activists from building their own nuclear reactors. Therefore, the Kazansky Heavy Industries Corporation – owned by the currently-imprisoned former President of the United States, whom you have surely heard of – proudly presents to the world the A-61 thermonuclear weapon.

The A-61 is an advanced, variable yield nuclear weapon, designed for delivery by high-speed aircraft. The nuclear weapon is 11 feet long and about 13 inches in diameter, capable of withstanding supersonic flight on an exposed aircraft pilon. It weighs approximately 700 pounds on average, though certain versions can turn out to be heavier (specifically, the A-61B Bunker buster version is 1200 pounds in weight).

The A-61 comes equipped with a 24-foot diameter nylon-kevlar parachute to slow the descent of weapon, ensuring both safe delivery of the nuclear weapon itself (assuring it doesn't shatter on impact with the ground in laydown mode) and the safe escape of the delivery aircraft. The A61 can be set for airburst, ground burst, or laydown detonation, and can be released at speeds up to Mach 2 and altitudes as low as 50 feet (15 m). Fusing for most versions is by radar.

For our clients, multiple versions of the A-61 thermonuclear weapon had been made available, as follows:

A61: This is the basic A-61 nuclear weapon. A tactical nuclear device, it can be set to an explosive yield of 0.3 to 170 kiloton before launch, and costs 10 million USD.

A61B: This is a 'bunker-buster' nuclear weapon. Equipped with a depleted-uranium casing, rocket accelerator and delayed-action fuze, it is designed to penetrate into the ground before detonating , like the French Durandale concrete-piercing munition – except, of course, the little salient fact that it detonates with the force of 250 kilotons of TNT. The A61B retails for 50 million USD and has a CEP of 10 meters.

A61S: This is a 'strategic' version of the basic A-61 nuclear weapon. It has a dialable yield of up to 340 kilotons and retails for 100 million dollars.

Noting that Allanea is not a member nation of the World Assembly, we can only extend Havl's national sanctions and limitations. However, any WA member nations discovered to have purchased nuclear weapons from Allanea will be subject to retribution from the World Assembly.
