After a startling Southern victory between North and Southern troops in what remains of the capital, North Defese troops finally retreated.

Joseph made a statement today, stating:

"We will rebuild our city to its former glory! The reconstruction process will be slow, and hard. Rescue operations are just now coming to a close. But rest assured we will not stop untill every physical mark of the war is erased from our lands.

I regret however, that we cannot erase the mental scar that is now edged deep in the mind of every South Defese citizen.

Parents had to watch their children die, children watching their parents be called away to fight a war that was pushed on us.

No matter how grand our cities are, no matter how great our nation becomes, the scar of this war will never heal.

I will personally be overseeing the rebuilding process of the capital, and I am lobbying to rename it to Brittania.

Our goverment officials will be elected later this year, I will form our goverment on the old American empire.

Congress, Senate, and the Supreme Courts will all be constructed by the end of this year.

As a new nation, a free nation, I send a warm welcome to all nations of the world.

Once Congress is constructed, I will lobby for embassies to be placed in other nations, so we may spread our message of freedom throughout the world.

But there is still a threat to our nation.

North Defese are still operating camps within their nation, and right now thousands of people are being slaughtered in North Defese borders.

I beg the nations of the world to free my people, my forces are exhausted and the North still ignores my requests to free the prisinors.

I hope the nations of the world understand our plight, and lobby together to free my people.

Joseph was straightning up his desk, when a red phone marked "DIRECT LINE-AIRCOMMD"

He picked it up on the second ring, due to the fact his right arm was in a sling, and he was right handed.

"This is Joseph." The stated simply.

"Uh sir?" A young sounding voice questioned. Maybe in his 20's. "Our radar station picked up a cargo plane heading for the capital. We also recieved a transmission that a nation called Zucamanga, who stated they are dropping 300 tons of fuel in the capital."

"They are dropping fuel, out of a plane, in our city?" Joseph asked in dispelief.

"Thats what it seems like sir." The voice responded "All we have are 3 Northrop F-5's, ones being repaired."

"Scramble the two, try to contact this cargo plane."

"Yes sir!"

The two Northrop F-5's began their taxi down the runway, soon to intercept a cargo plane stating it will drop enough fuel on the capital to blow up what theve been trying sto hard to rebuild...

The 2 Northrop F-5's approched the plane from behind, when they were flanking it on both sides, they called it via radio.

"Unkown Aircraft you are to follow us out of South Defese airspace.
If you do not respond we will open fire."

Anyway, the cargo plane was at first silent due to its partly broken communications systems. In about 10 seconds the pilot replied.

"Yes, we are willing to comply" he said in a strong accent.

The Federation of Serbian Soviet Union has finally put the South Defese declaration of independence in the parliament agenda, there were heavy debates going on with the parliament on the issue whether the FSSU will recognise the South Defese declaration of independence or to ignore the declaration. After heated debates, the parliament had a vote and the vote came in favor of recognising the new born state of South Defese.

The Government of Federation of Serbian Soviet Union on the 19.02.09 recognises the independence of South Defese.

To support your nation from falling to the North Defeseians, the Principality of Belkaland is transfering 12 recently refurbished F-14D Tomcats from the Belkaland Air National Guard to the South Defese Air Force. To assist your nation in the upkeep of these fighters until your nation can do it on their own, we would like send in with the Tomcats, engineers & the machinery needed to keep the birds flying. We will not send in the people unless we have permission, but we will send you the planes. A nation's independence is something to truely cherish.
