"Today, gentlemen of the Senate, we meet to decide the fate and innocence of the accused criminal and rebel 'Vincent Gambino', former owner of Gambino Technology, and accused of attempting to start several insurrections." Towards the center of the Senatorial Chambers, a tall, and somewhat lean man stood, flanked on both sides by guards in Yellow Rain jackets. He looked remarkably cheerful for being in such a position as he was in, about to be executed with nothing short of a miracle being able to save him from his bloody fate. "We can skip the rest of the formalities, we all know why we're here. Vincent, how do you plead?" Vincent flashed a toothy grin. "You think it matters? No matter which way I go, I'll be dead before the end of this evening. But first, I'd like to tell you all something." Turning to face the rest of the Senate, Vincent continued "As you all know, I've been spending some time here, gathering up men and money, all under the guise of assuming control of CM-" An older Senator near the back interrupted, standing up with a shout "So you're pleading guilty to the charge of treason!" Vincent held up his hand "If you will just wait, my good Senator, you will see. As I was saying, that was all a lie." Gasps erupted all throughout the chambers. "All this time, I've only wanted to destroy this. All of it. As we speak, my... Followers are disrupting the chain of command in the army, communication between security forces, disruption of all major companies, assassinations on all major officials, and just in case, all of us." The Senate burst into an uproar; the soldier on Vincent's left slammed him into a nearby table, right in front of a Senator, a blade slipping out from his sleeve, and then right next to Vincent's neck. "Why?" The soldier half-growled, his hand shaking. "Because, I want to watch this whole, rotten nation..." Vincent grabbed the blade and slipped it under the Yellowjacket's neck. "Burn." Pulling off his helmet and slitting his neck, Vincent soon found another blade was at his throat. This one had found it's target. The remaining guard looked around him. He realized suddenly that the Senatorial chambers were completely quiet, the Senators slumped in their chairs. Noticing the thin vapor in the air, he realized what the green colored gas was. X-2. Suddenly taking in a deep breath, he knew it was too late. As his vision began to fade, he collapsed onto the ground, oblivious to the shouting outside...

The President was sitting at his desk, filling out paperwork, when two officials walked in. Wearing the olivedrab uniform of the International Response Unit.
"Sir," The first one started. "The cabinet is waiting in the situation room, follow us please."
"What's going on?" The President asked, Bewildered.
"Please sir," The second one pleaded, "Its quite urgent."
"Very well." President Tamthy responded. And followed the men out of the room.

The marines guarding the door looked tired, but snapped at attention when the President walked through the hallway.
He entered the room during a arguement between Commander Gerald of the Anti-Terrorism Unit and Chief Officer Authur of Military Air Command.
"..bsolutly rediculus," Authur was stating. "our satillites are much more reliable in terms of recon missions."
"Thats a blaten--" Gerald was about to say, before spotting the President enter the room.
"Oh, erm, Greetings Sir!"
All the men in the room saluted.
"At ease, now tell me whats going on."
"At 0900 today," Gerald started. "Military Space Command detected increased activity in a nation known as.. He checked his paper..Conserative Morality. Further investigation reveals the entire nation is in anarchy. The entire goverment has been eliminated by an unknown terrorist orginization. Death counts so far are reaching the thousands."
"Jesus..." The President exclaimed. "Whats the international response?"
"We dont know yet sir." War Minister Herald stated. A slight annoyance in his voice.
"Hmmm...If we ignore this it could blow up in our face. I want the International Response Unit, Anti-Terrorism Unit, Haz-Mat teams, and the North Defese Military Air Command to prepare to be stationed into the nation. And we are now at Defcon 3."

OOC: You can check my factbook, it keeps most of the information on the three major planets. As for Noctis, the pitch-black planet where most of the population (And therefore, in all likelihood, most of the action) is, has just had it's capital city (also it's largest) wiped out, and I can't quite map most of the planet. A few remaining cities would be New Rome, with a population of about six million, Versvictis, with a population of three and a half million, and is also noted for having an unusual amount of artificial lights (Most Moralite cities on Noctis are almost completly unlit in the streets, and dimly lit inside), and Nox Noctis, a city with a population of four million, and known for being the home of the First Battalion, an elite group of Moralite soldiers before the fall, and one of the few remaining military groups remaining intact.

Decimus sighed. He supposed this was what foreigners must have to deal with when dealing with Moralites. "You can't just 'wait it out'. The entire Senate is dead! I saw them with my own eyes, and it was all over the news stations before they crashed. You must have seen it. Everything is destroyed. We have to restore order, even if we have to do it ourselves!"
The Yellow Jacket crossed his arms. The soldier in front of him sounded like a foreigner talking to a Moralite. The First Battalion wasn't exactly known to be easy to deal with. "And so? The gears are still in place, you can't just throw away millenniums of culture. Our entire system is based around freedom and Democracy. Divided and united, both at once. After a few months, this will all correct itself, even if it's only on a basic level. The entire Senate will be reelected, Raven city will be cleaned of all X-2, and things will return to the way they've always been."
"And-what's your name?"
"Vel."
"Vel, what if they don't go back to the way they were? What if the chaos set in order has shattered the millenniums of culture, and 'gears', as you said? It must be corrected! And what other group, still together, has the kind of pull and power the First battalion has? Together, we can right this!"
"Together? What makes you think that you will have anything to do with whatever we do?" Vel straightened himself out, assuming a more military stance. "I shall speak to the General about this. Until then, you must stay here." Decimus felt sick. "So you mean I'm your prisoner." He muttered dejectedly. "We prefer 'involuntary guest'."

"General." Decimus muttered coldly, examining the tall Moralite in front of him. Like all the other Yellowjackets he had seen, he was in full battle dress. Not an inch of skin showing. The only thing setting the General apart was some patch on his arm, an archaic symbol from times long past. "Decimus Valerius, is it not? I hear you have been suggesting that we restore order ourselves. Isn't that true?" Decimus nodded. "This situation cannot, and will not return to normal on it's own. We've had centuries of technology wiped out, everything we have is in ruins. The only way order will return is by someone forcing it upon these lawless lands. Anarchy will leave us weak and vulnerable to the foreigners." He turned his head to the side and spat on the floor. "If you would like that, general, for foreign nations to trample upon us, to dishonor ourselves and our forefathers, to be little more than puppets for a bunch of squabbling politicians on a planet a thousand light-years away, be my guest. But as long as I draw breath, I will fight them, as long as I have a voice, I will speak against them, as long as I have hands, I will strike them! And if you stand in my way, expect no better than I give to the enemies of CM, for the enemy of any Moralite is an enemy of CM!" Decimus flared alive, giving his speech with a booming voice. Even to the Yellowjackets it seemed as if he towered over the General, his voice a guiding light for all of them.
The General stood there for a moment. Removing his helmet to reveal an old and lined face, he began to laugh. Clapping slowly, he said. "You are quite the orator Raven Valerius. But it is not I you have to convince about the importance of restoring order to CM, it's why we should be the ones to do it. Look over the facts. We are a tenth of a Legion. There are some areas with two remaining Legions left, a man with a tongue such as yours would do a much greater amount of good in an area with a much larger amount of soldiers, men experienced at restoring order and occupation of countries, not the decimation of enemy forces. So why choose us, members of the Moralite Shock Force, instead of the regular army?"
"Because. Because I can relate to you. Because I know that almost all of you are true patriots. Because I know that you won't break and run at the first sign of trouble. Because I know you aren't helpless without a leader. You are the best choice for restoring order to CM. But, and when I say this, please, do not take offense, you all know nothing about restoring order. You think that after such a major political and technological upheaval, everything can return to normal. History disagrees. Without a strong, guiding force to steer the nation in the direction it needs to go in, it falls apart. And that's why I need you." The General studied Decimus for a moment before he said, with thinly disguised reluctance: "What do we do first?"

"General, it's occurred to me that I don't know your name." Decimus said, as he began typing in a long and complicated security code. "Mind if I inquire...?" The General nodded. "The name I was given was Gnaeus. I don't like such informal speech, so I would prefer for you to continue to refer to me as 'General'."
"Of course." The door in front of them lifted up to reveal several rifles pointing at them, the hands holding them covered in a navy Exoskeleton. Decimus frowned. The one time he didn't wear his armor...
"Thank God!" One of the men said. "A Yellowjacket! We thought we were the last Legion on Noctis!" General Gneaus scoffed at them as they lowered their rifles. "You aren't a Legion, you're members of a fleet. I recognize the patch." Decimus smiled. "Well General, you have a lot to learn. Ever hear of The Raven Fleet?" A series of lights behind them turned on, revealing a gigantic ship. On the side of the massive hull, the words lit up: The Raven.

"So, how long will it take to have this up and running?" The Chief Engineer stopped the welding torch and lifted his mask up. "I told you already, about half a week. Why are you so concerned anyway? As soon as we get th' communications back up, everthin' will be fine." Decimus tugged as his collar. He hated not having a combat suit on. "Well, do you remember the Mekantans?" The Chief Engineer shook his head up and down. "Well, before the breakdown, our spies had heard..." The man jumped up in fear, dropping the welding torch. "They're comin' for us!" Decimus sighed. "Let me finish. The Mekantans have apparently been wrecking destruction upon the rest of the Universe at large. And it turns out that they're a bunch of spiteful bastards. If word of the breakdown ever reaches them... I have a feeling that they'll take out their revenge intended for the Senate on every Moralite they can find. And... There's something I've kept from everyone else. I have to tell someone, so I need your word of honor." The Chief Engineer saluted him. "You have my word of honor." Decimus hesitated for a moment. "The First Battalion is the only still standing military force in all of Concuxium. Those fools that eliminated the companies main contacts and communication equipment, did the exact same to the rest of the army. There isn't one Legion left who has no idea who's in control." The engineer nodded grimly. "Aye, even the Raven's Half-Legion was in a bit of Turmoil before th' Captain took over."
"Indeed. Captain Hostus is a rare sort nowadays. A man with both charisma and good sense. If he had any interest in politics, he could have been a Senator by now." The Engineer nodded. "I'll tell the rest of my boys to hurry up on th' repairs. We can't have th' Mekantan bastards getting th' best of us." Decimus nodded. "My thanks." As he walked away, Decimus could not help but reflect on the Engineer's strange accent. Must have been from one of those inner planet slums I used to hear so much about in the news. They kept so much of their own culture from centuries ago, but at least this fellow has shown his true colors. Maybe they'll make a book out of this when we're all down, or maybe even a movie. And with that, Decimus smiled.

In the VIEES Vessel
a roar of arguing occured as the Governor walked in the room
"Quiet! I demand to speak to the one who runs this group of....." said Vao, The Governor of VIEES (Vao Island Emirate Extraction Squad) while being interrupted.
"I do." said Leon Di Capris who was from another nation.
"What type of Ignorance is this? This noise about nothing and yet..." The Governor tryed to continue until he was, yet again, interrupted.
"Its about... navigation....." One of the Vessel Engineers said in hesitation.
"What about navigation? You have the finest..." The Governor tryed to say.
"Sir, we're lost..... And its all his fought!" Leon said pointing a finger at Destrio Astra Fuccini.
"What do you mean.... Lost? In the middle of the galaxy?" The Governor said in a quiet angered way.
"Yes... but it wasn't me sir!!!" Destrio said as he realized he was a goner for tearing up the Universal Navigational System.
"Oh sure.... Just spill some coffee on the UNS..... thats not bad..." Leon said nervously.
"We have radio support to come and get us...." Destrio said trying to ignore Leon.
"Call in VIEES Channel 2134.23..... Thats the Spacecraft Center for Space Transportation." said Gamon Hector Inkheart to the Governor.
"The SCST will take forever sir.... I think I can navigate according to the features of the surrounding stars and galaxies...." said Destrio trying not to sound so guilty.
"No. Call in support............. Now." The Governor said as he grabbed Destrio ready to put him in a cell that was located in the far back of the vessel for people who deserve punishment.
In the SCST
Response crew receive a call
"Hello anyone there?" Gamon said to the SCST.
"Yes, what is it?" the response crew replyed.
"We are lost and need support...." Gamon said before the Governor got a hold of the radio.
"Listen to me and listen now. I need another vessel to come and transport us off this vessel. Our UNS has been fatally damaged....." The Governor said to the crew.
There was a sudden burst of quietness......
"Yes sir...... We will as soon as possible...." The crew replied noticing that it was Governor Vao who was stuck in space with the VIEES Extraction Squad.

In the Support Vessel
the team is about to reach the VIEES Vessel
"Calling in on SCST, we are 73% there. Mission nearly complete....." said the pilot of the vessel.
"Wait one minute here..... Whats that????" A member of the team said looking at their UNS.
"Its... its a Black Hole!" the pilot said panicking.
"We're going straight for it!!!!" Another member said nervously.
"Hello.... Exactly whats goin' on down there pilot?" The Governor said to the pilot on the radio.
"MAYDAY! MAYDAY!" The pilot said as they were getting closer to it.
"Are you crashing?" Gamon said to the pilot but never got a response back.
Back at the SCST
the Governor is currently on the radio with them
"All they said was... Mayday... I don't get it." The Governor was repeating to himself and to the SCST.
"Did he crash... Wait, that isn't possible with the coordinates that they were at....." The crew replied back.
"Is there any planets or forms around you guys?" They said back to the VIEES Vessel.
"We ain't got a UNS.... or else I would look." Gamon said realizing they have no chance of survival.

"Because, Kara hasn't fixed the FTL drive yet,"replied Josh calmly, before looking at a beeping console."Thats new....Looks like an entire fleet of ships just jumped in."
"Great...Should i jump in the M.A.H.C gunner seat?" asked Arkon, pointing at the gunner seat for the Saphia Flame's M.A.H.C cannon.
"Nah. Not yet. Lets hail them-"the rest of what Josh was saying was lost in a loud bang, followed by a stream of swearing coming from the engine bay.
"Yeah. hailing sounds like a good idea,"said Arkon, running off to wake the pilot, Samuel. Josh then hailed the unknown fleet. The message was somewhat long and boiled down to:'Please don't blow us out of the sky'

"Captain! We've picked up a whole fleet! Short-wave scans show at least ten major ships, maybe more!" Hostus nodded calmly. "Thank you, but what exactly do you expect us to do?" The man was somewhat taken aback. "But, uh sir..." Hostus turned to look him in the eye, calmly but firmly. "We can't do anything about them, because all of our propulsion systems are down." He said, as one would explain a simple matter to a small child. "We can do nothing but wait, and hope on the vigilance, and sobriety, of our engineers." He smiled. "I'll try to contact them, see what they're up to." The man thanked the Captain and backed out. As soon he was out of the room, Hostus turned to General Gneaus. "So, what were you saying about the First Battalion not needing to work with us Navy fools? Perhaps you'd like to suit up and go out against this new threat yourselves?" Gneaus growled and turned away as Decimus nervously shifted. Those two aren't going to put up with each other much longer... If we don't figure out a plan of action soon, they'll be at each others throats...
Captain Hostus leaned forward, pressing down on the communications speaker. "Attention unidentified foreign fleet, this is the flagship Raven, please, state your purpose and fleet name. Failure to comply will..." Hostus furrowed his brow. "Uh... Dammit. Decimus, set the message to loop 'till we get an answer. And cut out the last part."
