OOC: Fine, be so damn picky.

"What's in the safe? That's not important. Now, jump out the window, and remember that I have a gun. I'll be down shortly..."

OOC: Unibot: Apparently they exploded? Someone posted about the staircase/room looking like a bomb went off a page or two back. I assumed that was the case. Anyway, I'm not happy with my guy getting twenty bullet wounds and everyone else's getting off with a few bruises. He had a gun, after all. He's not just going to let the other guy get away like that...

Also, I like the idea of a 'sequel' thread, but I'm not exactly sure how it could go. I'll make up one of those Epilogues in a few minutes.

OOC: Yeah, pet the fucking ducks, but leave my man sitting outside cold and crying...real nice of you.:)

"Start moving, comrade. You know how fast this thing can empty itself?" The man, for the first time since he'd arrived at the mansion, looked dead serious.

OOC: I know how to make a sequel, IF you're familiar with the crazy season finale of Lost, in season three, you'll already know the gist of how it begins....

"WE HAVE TO GO BACK KATE" ahrrgggg..."and I need a shave..."

OOC: Uh, no I'm not familiar in the slightest with Lost.

Cuborg, are you giving my man a chance to escape?

OOC: Yeah, pet the fucking ducks, but leave my man sitting outside cold and crying...real nice of you.:)

OOC: Sorry to be a tease, but if Sam had known it was just going to be another silly war, she never would have been there at all. (She might even be interested in the sequel - if you can tone down the stupid.)

OOC: Okay, Lost Recap

-Guy gets all messed up on drugs and alcohol, and goes to see girl
-Tells her they need to go back
-She tells him he's a bloody idiot
-Through some unseen events, they go back
-And then all this crazy shit happens... time gets derailed and people's head explode.

And no, I won't ACTUALLY be coping lost, it was a joke.

Maybe, just maybe, I'll tone down the "stupid" for you, Sam. :fluffle:

OOC: No, we're both going for a little walk.

OOC: Baker and the stranger are going for a 'walk'. Not whatever you thought I meant.

OOC: I thought you might mean something that's IN BLOODY CHARACTER :)

OOC: Alright, fine. A walk it is.

IC:
Baker frowned, again. He walked past the strange man and slipped through the window. He thought about slipping away, but looked back and saw he had a perfect shot. Baker waited for him to follow, then they began to walk.

OOC: That has possibilities. Eduard could get off drugs and come to Fatatatutti. (Note that no guns are permitted. He'd be immediately arrested and deported.) I don't like the idea of time derailing. And anything like using bombs in an underwater rescue would mean good-bye Sammy.

OOC: Just come back for the sequel, I've got an idea coming to me, but it's going to require Sammy to take a leap of faith and come back to Unibot. Maybe Eduard will go to her and convince her... and there will be no time derailing, and I can't guarantee you no violence. I thought the body count in this was bloody hilarious, (Colonel's Dr. Strangelove style rampage through the house like Cluseau v.s Kato!) what was it, 30!? Ha, it really puts a spin on an old English novel, when Sherlock has a massacre on his hands, it's the next Simon Pegg film, practically.

OOC: This is taking a while to wrap up. I should have just kept my guy out of the estate when he left. Cuborg, how about we forget those last few things and save the trouble? Or something?

OOC: Just right your proper epilogue. Cuborg's playing with yeh.

OOC: Meh, I assumed as much. To hell with it, this is how it happened:

IC:
Epilogue
Baker had considered returning to the estate to find the remaining guests and check on that strange man. Ultimately he decided against it, as his job was over and his mission failed. He climbed into his car which had been relatively forgotten througout this whole ordeal, and drove away. In addition to his weapons, he had left his cell phone in the car to avoid disturbing the party. Possibly a foolish move. As he drove down the highway in the direction Sam and Eduard had gone, he called a direct line straight to AIA headquarters.

"Baker here. Operation Queene's Pawn a failure. Several interesting details overall, though, for my report later. Also, I'd like a search made for a Samantha Smith from Fatatatutti, possibly Intellegence, probably former military. Right. Thanks. Baker out."

He drove past a crashed helicopter and saw Heir, Archie, and some soldiers standing around. With this image of closure, Aglorean Intellegence Agent George Baker drove into the distance, as the darkness faded away.

Bravo, I'm come out of this like I was after watching TDK, I'm drooling for a sequel and demanding a fucking Oscar, (with an anti-aging old man stealing it away from my dreams of course).

Les just held still and let the stranger do whatever he was doing. He ended up taking something from the safe and running. Eventually, Les told that part of the story to the police.

Les went back to his magazine. The whole affair, he decided, was a wash. Eventually, he got wind of what had happened through his police contacts, but, by then, he didn't really care. The social dinner that he had tried to attend had turned into a gunslinging free-for-all, and Les, being an honest man, had better things to do.

OOC:

If you're going to do a sequel to this lousy thing, count me out. I was here for a murder mystery, not some crime fest with every person for themselves.
