600 years of the Iriat Republic were over. Ended by a swift military coup led by Solar Marshal Rakos Nazert. He wanted a complete overhaul of the system to ensure the survival of a united Iriat Republic that would not collapse and a strong government free from decadent and corrupt senators

The Name will be changed from the Iriat Republic to the Union of Planetary Republics of Iriat
#1 The Solar Marhsal is the most powerful possition in the government and is head of state
#2 The Solar Marshal rules for life
#3 The Solar Marshal rules with a 23 man council representing each Iriat Planet that make all decisions on domestic issues and intergalactic policy
#4 Citizens elect a local planetary Assembly made up of 1000 members that sit for a 5 year term. The Solar Marshal then appoints one man from the 1000 member assembly to serve in the 23 man Council and serves in it for as long as the Solar Marshal wants
#5 The Planetary Assembly have the right to make thier own policies but must remain loyal to the central government and follow any instructions from the central government
#6 The Death penalty by instant incineration is permitted
#7 Only citizens have the right to vote in Planetary Assembly Elections
#8 Citizenship can be obtained by 5 years military service
#9 Conscription has been abolished unless during war time when Conscription is introduced
#10 If you are not a Citizen you are classed as a Civilian.
#11 Becoming a Citizen means an increase in rights but commiting a serious crime as a Citizen can lead to the deathpenalty to your citizenship being abolished and in some cases being banned from ever becoming a citizen again
#12 Citizen can marry more easily, are permitted to have more then one child, can vote, can own more then two homes, can get a job in politics and government, can freely travel between planets, can leave the UPRI for another space empire, Free university education, Free healthcare an can start recieving the pension at 60 instead of 65
#13 when a Iriat is born they are automatically classed as a Civilian even if thier parents are both Citizens
#14 striking and demonstrating is banned unless sanctioned by the government
#15 All information is to be controlled by the government and censorship is in place
#16 All inter-planet communication between citizens and civilians can be monitored
#17 Civilians have the right to join the military during the ages of 18-30 and serve for 5 years to earn thier citizenship
#18 The Solar Marshal has the right to make changes to this constitution so long as he has at least 10 votes in the 23 man council

New Constitution additions
#19 Slavery is Permitted. All violent criminals (rapists, Murderers) will spend the rest of thier lives in Labour Camps OR if they are brought by wealthy men they can become "Galaxiators" (gladiators but in space) where they will compete in competitions and death matches. Smaller petty criminals can be brought by wealthy families to be household servants or sexual pleassue slaves.
Rights of a slave
a) a slave has no rights and the state considers thier lives expendable and worthless. There lives are worth as much as thier owner thinks of them.
b) Slaves are not permitted to be on the street without thier owner
c) Slaves are banned from leaving the planet they are on
d) It is not possable for slaves to become a Citizen HOWEVER the owner is permitted to free thier slave making them a civilian AFTER a vote by the district council and an evaluation of the owner and slave.
e) Violent offending slaves are never to be freed
