OOC:

This thread takes one year after the Northam-York vs Lynion War and this is strictly opened only to allies and friends of both parties, Lynion and Neo-Ixana. Please keep your party escorts to four max as the Lynion Military is going to be out in force. Lynion Airspace and waters will be closed until further notice. Assassination's will be ignored and so will be gate crashers. If anybody is unsure about their status to Lynion, feel free to TG me and I'll respond shortly. You are allowed to presume that an invitation was sent out.

Point to allies and friends of both parties: Forget about landings or cleanaces. You can RP your party already in Lynion. You'll just need to state how many in your party inculding your escort party.

"12th Battalion!" shouted Captain David S. Longshanks commander of the 12th Lynx Island Black Battalion. "By the centre, forward march!" barked out Longshanks as he waited three seconds before leading the entire battalion up the road towards the catherdial. They were the main force that protected Lynx Island during times of invasion and were also given the honour to parade for a change instead of being on the frontlines.

The Capital Port City of Glasgow (Capital City of Lynx Island), was filled with exictment as the city was seeing the marraige of High King Vamp Jonathan Kingston and Neo-Ixania Ambassador Valora Seleznyov. The crowds were waving flags of Lynion and Neo-Ixania as they watched the 12th Infantry Battalion that guarded Lynx Island and the Palace march past them. The battalion was followed closely by the 103rd Volunteerly Military Bag Pipes Company and the open carriage which had Vamp and Valora waving at the passing crowds. Keeping a close eye on the pair and never far from the couple, was Grand Black Imperial Guardian Mavax and Vamperial Grand Master Rathma Phoenix (Personal bodyguards to the Royal Family) who were running close behind the carriage.

Behind the carraige and forming up the rear was the 17th Lynx Island Black Battalion. Both battalion's were under orders to escort the couple to the Catherdial of Peter (named after one of the 12 Dicsiples of Jesus Christ) while under the command of Lynion Hunters and Lynion Assassin Officers. The parade of the colours were always in front of the battalions to represent the unit, the division, the nationality flag and the island flag.

It was a winter's day and the bulk of the city had turned out to watch the pair get married. This was an exiciting day for the Lynion's, especially seeing their High King of Lynion finally get married again. There was joy amongest the crowd as they were enjoying the sight of their high king, the flags, the bag pipes and the military doing a parade. Eventually, the carriage stopped outside the Catherdial of Peter as the 12th Battalion marched on before turning around and saluting the couple. Vamp returned the salute to the battalion as the 17th went into the buildings to ensure the crowds were being friendly. Snipers were scattered throughout the city as Captain Piece Jaxson was making sure that his battalion was in position in case something goes horribly wrong. Thankfully, the pair was able to arrive at the catherdial without trouble. Vamp was dressed in his uniform that had black, red and white colours. The couple entered the catherdial and the 4th Black Imperial Guardian Squad was stationed in and around the catherdial to protect the pair and keep the peace. The Black Imperial Guardians were the Royal Family Bodyguards and sometimes actted as officers during times of war.

"You look wonderful," Vamp whispered to Valora as the couple entered the catherdial. The catherdial had the Vamperial Order and the League of Wolves Councils standing, personal friends and families from both parties and others as well. The catherdial was similar to the design of Saint Pauls in London since the designer was from London.

Valora Seleznyov had never expected that she would end up being the Queen of Lynion when she was first told that she was going to represent the Empire there - she had been quite enamoured with the High King ever since they had first started seeing each other in secret with the dates and the constant private referrals to why one had conquered the other's heart. When they had met in Ixania, during the High King's visit, it was then that she knew he was the right man for her in her life and that she wanted no others but him.

In an elaborate dress that would have been given to someone of royal birth, Valora watched the jubilant masses with a smile upon her face and quick waves here and there to them - making them know that she was thankful for their acceptance of her as the soon to be Queen Consort of Lynion. When she heard Vamp whisper his compliment, she grinned at him and held his hand. "And you look so handsome."

As they walked into the cathedral amidst the pomp and splendour of the prestigious occassion at hand, Valora's many friends, her parents, and all other family members who were able to attend could be seen rabidly cheering for her and shouting their best wishes. All in all, Valora was pretty happy about this day in her life - the day she would become a Queen and a married woman.

Vamp took a deep breath as he was quite nervous about getting married again. He remembered his first wedding with Eliza in the 1920's. Somehow, Vamp knew deep down that Eliza would've being please for him of finding someone else. He glanced around as he was required to part ways. Valora went to the right side of the alter and Vamp to the left where they were joined by their personal friends with three to the bride and groom (best man etcra).

On Vamp's side was Woff Phoenix as Best Man, Lee King and Andrew Jian. The groom party was wearing black and white traditional uniforms and matched Vamp's uniform. The pair was an arm's length apart with Pastor Wynn, pastor of the cahtherdial, standing before the alter and looked down on the couple and the entire audience. This was his first major event but he was more than welcome to do so due to the relation's he had with Vamp Kingston. He looked around as he waited for the Brides Party to settle before beginning the service. Pastor Wynn looked across to Vamp as he looked to be slightly nervous about the cermonary. People were settling down, the room was being filled and everyone was eager to watch the marriage begin as the audience suddenly fell silent. Everyone gave their attention to the front as pastor Wynn started to begin the cermonary.

From the back of the Cathedral, the happy couple were being watched. A man, shrouded in shadows, watched the preceedings. He did not make any attempts to reveal himself, nor did he make any further attempts to hide. He was a ghost, unnoticed during the commotion of the ceremony that was about to take place.

OOC: In case you didn't get it, he's hiding!

OOC: So true but Rathma doesn't remember the day he changed if that's what your worried about.

OOC: It is related to that, but not exclusively. Just consider the sort of horrific future that could await a man who cannot die :eek:. He may make himself known. Ahem, but enough about him.

Minerva watched happily from her seat on the brides side of the cathedral. Her brother in law, the Chief of Northern Sea, couldn't come to this event, so minerva was more than happy too. It was to show support to their Ally Neo-Ixania. Minerva smiled as she saw the bride's face. She was happy and nervous, the same with the groom. Minerva was happy for them, Marriage was such a wonderful thing. True, she had never married, but she had been to a number of weddings in her life.

Lynion

A white Maybach Landaulet Followed by a Black range rover sped towards a large cathedral that became visible on the winter horizon as they turned a corner. People filled the streets, bright flags fluttered in the breeze, soldiers and police officers were walking patrols, making their presence known on this glorious day.

Three men in black suits wearing sun glasses exited the SUV and moved towards the Maybach, the door opened and out stepped Miss Anna Maria Vespillio of Osteia dressed in a beautiful Bronze Dolce & Gabbana dress. She moved up to take the center postion in the triangle formed of three body guards. The driver of the Maybach exited the vehicle and brought a large giftwrapped parcel from the trunk towards the entrance. One bodyguard remained in the Range Rover incase of a situation.

Anna Maria entered the wedding and was taken away by the beauty of it. Afew days ago an invitation was sent to her from her potential suitor Nicholas of Neo Ixania. He had informed her that he would be attending, she was excited to meet him finally.

Valora took her position at the altar while her party took their own - all of them were anxious to get the ceremony underway so that they could see the two hearts united fully as one as the Scriptures would have you told. Valora would get a glimpse of Vamp and sensed that he was nervous so she gave him a small reassuring smile that she hoped would help him be confident. As Wynn began, Valora turned her attention to him.

Nicholas Schverzinski was waiting at the cathedral for Anna Maria since he arrived there about several hours prior to the ceremony - he was quite happy to be there with the few members of the Imperial Family such as the Ixanian Empress who had been able to make it to Lynion.

As he sat around with people talking to him about his relationship with the Princess of Osteia, Nicholas could hear that she had finally arrived and so he rushed to greet her with a sly grin and the words: "Anna Maria, you certainly look gorgeous today - I'm going to have a hard time keeping my eyes on the ceremony at hand."

"We are gathered here today to witness the marriage of Vamp Kingston and Valora Seleznyov," started Pastor Wynn as he started to read out Bible passages to the audience relating to marriage. It wasn't too bad for Vamp since he didn't mind if the titles were forgotten because it made him feel better. Vamp felt nervous as it came to the next part of the cermonary. Everything was going fine and Vamp started to become relaxed about marrying his sweetheart.

"Do you, Vamp Kingston take Valora Seleznyov," started Pastor Wynn as he had practice pronouncing the name. "To be your lawfully wedded wife? To chearish (OOC: Need to check the spelling) and love for the rest of your days, through sickness and in times of darkness. Until death do you part?" Pastor Wynn asked Vamp.

"I do," replied Vamp as he started to blush a little.

"And do you, Valora Seleznyov take Vamp Kingston," contiuned Pastor Wynn as he turned to Valora. "To be your lawfully wedded husband? To chearish and love for the rest of your days, through sickness and in times of darkness until death do you part?" asked Pastor Wynn to Valora.

She could have screamed a resounding assent at the top of her lungs but the former Ixanian ambassador had decided that decency demanded she keep her positive answers to a simple two word assent which Vamp himself had uttered just moments ago. "I do."

"If there's anyone who think's that these two shouldn't, speak now or forever hold your peace," offered Wynn as it was a custom. However, Rathma and Mavax stood at the door starring at everybody. This was their kings wedding and it wasn't going to be ruined and the Imperial Guardians stationed inside the church looked around.

"Then by the power of God himself," proclaimed Wynn. "I know pronounce them husband and wife, you may kiss the bride," concluded Wynn as Vamp had to do his part. He was a bit nervous but put all that aside and kissed his now wedded wife on the lips. The audience and the people outside (they being watching it on TV screen outside the catherdial) cheered. Amongest those cheering in the catherdial was Matthew King and his girlfriend from Neo-Ixania Zora.

"Be at peace my brothers and sisters (In Christ) and may joy and happiness dewell with the newly weds," smiled Wynn.

"Don't you think they're a cute couple?" Matt whispered to Zora.

The man, who had been watching from the shadows of the upper area of the cathedral was now gone. Having observed the ceremony, he had left. He would have left little impression on most people's minds in the ceremony. But someone would have noticed. Someone very important...

"Then by the power of God himself," proclaimed Wynn. "I know pronounce them husband and wife, you may kiss the bride," concluded Wynn as Vamp had to do his part. He was a bit nervous but put all that aside and kissed his now wedded wife on the lips. The audience and the people outside (they being watching it on TV screen outside the catherdial) cheered. As she stood there at the altar with the man she loved, Valora had a vision of what her married life could be like with the children and the wealth. She relished the vision as she listened to the priest and, when it was time to kiss, she leaned in for a tender kiss.

"There's a lovely couple, Matt." Zora whispered with a grin.

Now Pastor Wynn had forgotten about the rings and realised it. While everyone was distracted by the kiss, Wynn managed to get the attention of Vamp and pointed to his ring finger for his wife. Vamp then had to be quick to place the ring on Valora's ring finger. The viewers outside couldn't see but Vamp slipped his hands into his pocket and pulled out a diamond made ring that was handed down through the Royal Family. It always somehow managed to fit on the brides of the kings and it managed to fit on Valora's finger without her noticing until she felt something smoothed on her ring finger.

"How do you feel about going to a ball and dinning in the same room as the Royal Couple?" Matt whispered into Zora's ear. "My brother and I got an invite with our partners. Interested?"

She smiled and took his hand, "Thank you Nicholas, but watch the ceremony because you will have alot longer to look at me, shall we have a seat?". Vamp smiled as the audience cheered them on. They started clapping and stood up and cheered them on as they walked down the isle. They smiled as the bells rang. The bride and the groom parties follow the couple close behind them as they came outside. They were greeted with cheers of the crowds as the audience from inside the catherdial came outside to take a breath of air and stretch their legs from having a long cermonary inside the catherdial. Matt and Zora came outside alongside the audience. They blended into the crowd as Vamp was greeted by his friends and his great great grandson, Taishi Ci.

"We can take our time before the reception," Vamp whispered into his wife's ear as he kissed her gently on the lips. "Don't forget your family and friends are allowed to come along," whispered Vamp into Valora's ear.

She gripped his hand and her face lit up with a smile, "Your Sweet Nicholas, i have already been thinking about the planning, and i know what my father is getting us for a present!". She turned her head glancing forward. The bride and groom made their way down the isle, the bells rang from the steeples, "Come Nicholas," she stood up and stepped into the isle turning to face him she out reached her hand.

A nondescript, but well-dressed woman with a scarred face sat, practically hidden among the glitter and style around her. She was around twenty, but going gray at the temples.

It was a rare thing for the Princepes to be in a foreign land. Rarer still for Sara Garretsdottr, High Chieftain of the People of the Ships, and Princepes of Sudova to be in a foreign land without bodyguards, or weapons.

Halfway through the ceremony, she reached into her pocket, pulled out a prescription bottle, and took two Vicodin. Visions, are splitting migraines with pictures. having a vision here, given the nature of such things, would be BAD. Her "escort" for the event, a nice young Lynion soldier whose name flitted at the edge of her mind, didn't appear to notice.

What Sara noticed, in the hard sharpening of the barely-controlled headache, was the ring sliding onto Valora's hand-a missed step that from her angle, she shouldn't have been able to notice.

The crowd rose, and Sara (with her escort's help) rose with them, she clapped with the rest and cheered with the rest, but the noise was agony, the lights too bright, the smells of the Cathedral too sharp.

put on a good show, don't be a pest Sara... she forced a smile. Whatever you're going to see, it's probably not relevant to these people!

As the guests began filing out to head for the reception, the Pills finally took effect, her vision dimmed and flattened back to what it normally was with only her right, remaining, eye.

She could remember her escort's name, and the light in the Cathedral was again tolerable.
"I think I need a drink-a drink to the Groom and the Bride." she asserted calmly.

Corpoal Zhuge Liang Kingston was the escort to Princepes of Sudova, Sara Garretsdottr and was also a member of the Royal Family who was out to gain favour in his great-great-great-grandfather Vamp Kingston and to bring honour back to Xiahou's heirs to the throne. He had his XM8 assault rifle over his shoulder as he was the escort of Sara.

"Don't forget, your invited to the reception," noted Zhuge as the invitiation was vaild to the reception party before turning to his earpiece. "X-36 calling Zulu Alpha, Package Hotel 36 outside. Requesting for advice,"

"Zulu Alpha calling X-36," replied Rathma's voice. "Take Package Hotel 36 out to the back of the cathderial. We got rides for them to the hot spot for tonight," concluded Rathma's voice as Zhuge turned to Sara.

"If you come with me, there's a number of SUV's out the back that'll take us to the reception," concluded Zhuge as he waited for her response. The invited foriegners were also invited to the reception and to take part in the party afterwards.

Meanwhile outside the Catherdial

"You sure?" questioned Rathma to a civilian as the civilian explained her story while Jaxson came next to Rathma.

"I am sure commander," replied the civilian.

"Alright, go and enjoy the celebrations. Not a word is said about this got it?" Rathma pointed out as the civilian feared Rathma, agreed and left to back to her family. "Jaxson, we got a situation," started Rathma.

The pair headed towards the tower attached to the catherdial on one of its side. Unnoticed by everyone around them, the pair vanished into the tower silently and headed to the top of the tower. It overlooked the catherdial, Glasgow and overlooked the river that seperated the route to the Palace and Glasgow City. Rathma looked around as the tower had a clear 360 degree view. The pair noticed 10 LYA2 Wolfhounds stationed across the river on the far side of the bridge that connected the city to the Palace. Jaxson studied his surroundings for a moment. Rathma had failed to foul the assassination of Eliza in 1945, Lanakan and Esther in the 1960's, Macus in the 1990's and Lanakan and Xiahou only about 10 years ago.

"The Royal Couple are going to be assassinated," started Rathma as Jaxson realised what he had to do. "We got no idea where it's coming from or whose going to fire the shot but in 10 minutes time, the Wolfhounds are going to fire three salute rounds into the air and its going to deafen any shots being fired. You need to find the assassin and kill him quickly and quietly,"

"Don't worry," replied Jaxson as he out his stand up and stood behind the sun as he over looked Glasgow. "I'll radio the location once I've killed him," concluded Jaxson as Rathma headed back down to have his platoon on standby as the Royal Couple had come outside the catherdial. Jaxson looked around until the sun beam off something for a second. He looked through his scope and studied the houses as it was well cleared of anybody that might see it. His eyes studied and looked harder until he saw a piece of glass and the movement of an arm. Jaxson covered himself and his rifle as he looked through the scope. He fixed the crossfire onto the purposed head of the assassin as he waited. Jaxson knew the only chance of doing this was in the first volley of the salute of the Wolfhounds blast.

"Found the bugger," Jaxson whispered into his intercom to Rathma. "6th building from the Catherdial, the one with the people waving Ixanian flags,"

"Copy that," replied Rathma as his squad purpoesly moved to block any early attempts on the Royal Couple while avoiding any suspecion. "I want everyone to keep their eyes peel. The job isn't over yet," added Rathma as he watched the 12th Battalion form up in front of the carriage as they waited for the Royal Couple.


OOC: Assassination's always happens to members of the Royal Family. I won't say anything more but Ixania, Vamp is going to get embrassed at the reception. Also, nobody takes the role of the assassin.

Corporal Kingston helped Sara to the Vehicle. She favoured him with a gracious smile, and thanked him as he helped her into the SUV. "I do hope the Reception goes well." she said, "your new queen is quite lovely."

She was trying to make 'small talk'-to work her way through the worst of the pain-killers' side-effects.

Odin, please, don't make me lose my lunch on the ride over...

The vehicle started away in its turn.

Sara felt a small spike of victory as the nausea lessened. I think I may have taken too much. "Got any coffee in the wet-bar?" she asked in a tiny voice.

The wet-bar did, indeed, have coffee. The limo also had a music system installed, and Anna used it as the motorcade crawled slowly to the reception. Anna's taste in music was...not what might be expected of a Ruler, and so as they moved toward the reception, the VIP cabin of the SUV was filled with Lemmy Kilmeister's Motorhead croaking "I don't believe a Word".
