Kagetorian Ministry of Foreign Affairs
After a long period of strict and militarily enforced isolation, the Shogunate of Kagetora is finally emerging onto the world stage.
After a recent purchasing of large areas of land in the capital, Edo, the government is opening these lots up for foreign powers to set up their embassies and consulates.
Prerequisites Mandated by the Shogun
1. All nations that wish to have an embassy in Kagetora must first make appropriate diplomatic contact.
2. All nations must send a representative or a delegation composed of the same to Kagetora to open up diplomatic talks, or send an official communication which states an intent to open up formal diplomatic ties.
3. The Shogun has the full right to deny the formation of an embassy within Kagetorian land.
Embassy Limits
1. No nation may have more than 100 residents of the embassy. This includes secretaries, dignitaries, servants, and staff. No slaves are allowed in an embassy.
2. No nation may have more than 30 members of an armed guard on permanent deployment in their embassy. In the occasion that a special representative or diplomat is staying in the embassy, the person(s) is limited to 10 personal guards.
3. Embassies are limited to 45 vehicles for the use of the personnel.
4. Any and all personnel of an embassy will have diplomatic immunity to minor crimes within the nation. If they are found guilty of any major crime (murder, rape, etc.) they will executed by firing squad within the week.
5. The following military ordinance, if found in possession of by any personnel of an embassy without written permission by the Kagetorian government, will be considered a termination of rights by all citizens of the nation. These include: Biological weaponry, nuclear weaponry, chemical weaponry, EM weaponry, psychological weaponry, incendiaries, artillery, armored fighting vehicles, firearms exceeding .50 caliber and ammunition for such weapons, and blades longer than 1 meter.
