OK, so I've been doing Character RP's on here for awhile now, and I want to start joining the nation level rp's.
If anybody out there is willing to help a n00b with stuff, please do so.

Pretty much everything.
I've done nation rps before, but never in the NS style

An embassy thread is the first thing you need--I would highly recommend reading through all the stickies and the II consolidated "I'm too lazy to press the back button and find out what it's really called" thingy.

"Compass of International Incidents" is the title, I think.
And yeah, start with an embassy thread for sure. Check out mine for an example (although you probably want to skip the rudeness, arrogance and stupidity).

A good way to start is to do an Embassy Exchange thread. Most follow a simple guide line by posting rules (staff and weaponry limits) and listing the application
ex
Nation Name
Leader
Staff
Weapons
Another is to host some sort of gathering for leaders, a party, a dinner, or if your really bold, a treaty. If you want to set up your nation you can post a factbook here, or go to

Umm. What kind of info should I include in the thread?

Perhaps some basic info about your country. Also be sure to include information on the embassies themselves, including restrictions thereto.

You can tell us a little about your nation. A short history synopsis, your culture, race, climate, ethnicity etc. Also post the regulations you want (ex. no military grade weapons or vehicles, no more than x number of staff x number of vehicles etc.)
