The Steppe Empire
24-01-2009, 02:55
The Hyperborians were always trying to get their Economy going, by using trade to expand it. It was all well and good, only if one problem did not come........Piracy.

Pirates were a Plague to Trade in the Khanate. enemy nations sent in Pirates to try and destroy the Hyperborian Khanate. But now, they would soon see the full power of the Khanate as The Starfleet was soon ordered to start hunting down Pirates all throughout the Khanate, namely in the Boarder worlds and The outlaying systems.

This was to show that The Hyperborians could defend them selves from all threats and now, This was the rise of Hyperboria's power in this Cruel Universe.

The republic send hope that the Steppe Empire succeeds in those who are so low as to disturb trade. While we cannot send aid, we support you in spirit.

(OOC: I'll RP a pirate if that's o.k.)

Captain March stared through the Holoscreen. His ship, The Offspringhttp://nikon.bungie.org/screenshots/haloplayers.1005/pillar_of_autumn.jpg, tore through slipspace as the eerie blues and greens played around the ship. It reminded him of being underwater. His bridge, the Wolf's Lair, was embedded deep with the ship's hull, making it impervious to all but a gutting blow. He called up an inventory of his cargo. A few containers of jewels were all his boarding parties could capture before having to bail. The Hyperborians were ramping up their defensive. "Navigator" The captain said " Pull out of slipspace and redirect for the nearest friendly port, I want to put some repairs on the ship and upgrade our port launchers." The launchers were cannons that fired drop pods into the side of unfortunate ships that clamped onto the hull and bored in a sealed hole for boarding parties and detached with loot.

The Nearest "Safe Port" was The Planet Nebalia, Near The Boarder with Chronosia. It was once Lawless and rule by Crime Families

Safe for Pirates......till The Hyperborians started Pirate Hunts.

Now with Two Rin-Shi Class Star Cruisers, three Dominator Class Star Destroyers and one Imperial Star Destroyer: The KNS Nova, Nabalia was now not so friendly. And the Hyperborians soon made sure of that the Crime Families met a fate worse then Imprisonment; after The Capital city of the planet was blasted from Orbit.

No one knew of what had happened because The Hyperborians were keeping all Communications off, all but Encrypted Messages. and the ships were waiting.
