Alright as one of the three leaders of the New Sith Order, it is my job to collect Holocrons for the library. While OG and I, and on occasion Bal, will write an RP concerning the looting of a temple; it would be nice to RP with others that have access to holocrons either for your own Force Users or in lost temples.

Now you might be saying that you do not want anyone to have your holocrons or ancient texts on the Force. That is perfectly fine. It is possible to copy holocrons and the likes. Plus there is always the additional possibility that my character will simply try and steal the holocron to either keep or simply return. Really depends on how she is treated.

I'm looking for nations that have Force users but this is always a good opportunity for new comers to start developing their own. I would appreciated it if anyone interested could describe the extent to the amount of holocrons or Jedi/Sith artifacts they have as well as where they are located.

Occasionally, OG and Bal might team up with me or all three of us together to complete a mission. Really up to them and whoever signs up.

Lastly, it is nice - though not a requirement- if people had MSN to discuss RPs and keep the plot moving. I am not above using TGs though if that is all you have.

That's it from me. Let the signing up begin!

I approve of this and wish to have other nations volunteering to join. Perhaps they might even consider sending a trainee to the NSO.

Meh. I've got Hera as a People's Acolyte, and I needed a catalyst for a Recognition War within the PA. Let's do this.

She certainly does get around. I am up for it.

I'm sure The Garbage Men would have some in store as well as assist in gaining new holocrons from archaeological operations.

The Jedi among the Displaced (one of my sub-nations, ask Bal) have a few Holocrons, and while they're called Jedi and classify themselves as Jedi, they do practice the Dark Side of the Force as well.

One thing I ask: Don't let Bal anywhere near them. He knows why. ^_^

I cannot know ICly about the Displaced or it will wreck his plots.

It is hard to explain why and how but take my word, if you contact them do not let any Kythons or Atrox know of this. For the time being I need to remain oblivious ICly of their existance.

Neo - I'm sure 'accidentally' keeping Bal out of the loop won't be much of a problem. Given my character, Twilight won't really want anyone's help and she just comes and goes in the NSO without really telling anyone where she is going or what she is doing. My character will fit perfectly. Just need to know the basic information like planet and where the holocrons are located.

Garbage - sounds good. Just need similar information as Neo Mekanta. Where they're located and such.

Good start so let's keep building off this.

Well, the Displaced are nomads, made up of many different former nations who had their systems and loved ones shot out from under them by the Galactic Hegemony. The Holocrons are in the new make-shift Northwinds Jedi temple on Norsemace, an Executor that serves as the "capital" and flagship of the Displaced fleet.

Meeting up with the Displaced would likely be a question of what kind of plot device to employ. My two main Jedi characters there are Tehn Zeck, the last true Jedi Master of Northwinds, and T'na, a Vulcan (Yes, those Vulcans) padawan. Stumbling across them training on some planet could work. Being as Northwinds Jedi train in both sides of the force, they wouldn't be too bothered by working with the Sith. Just a little prejudice on Tehn Zeck's part in regards to Sith intelligence. (Easy to overcome.)

Thanks Mekanta.

Anybody else?

There are a couple of Jedi spread through out the corporation, they're mostly in various teams and act as a joint defense/diplomatic face of that specific unit.

The question of morals is vague-ish as you can never really know why they do anything. Most secretly guard the Holocrons in the corporations possesion.

Some are in the 'archaelogical' arm of the corporation and others are not, either case they don't like to reveal that they are weilders of the force, nor do they really hold to the concept of the Light and Dark sides.

I only have one currently named Jedi type and his name is Davidson, he doesn't have a holocron for the moment but he would certainly be interested in helping locate one.

The Kirtir might be interested, at least when the new Emperor takes office.

I would be interested in this. I realize I am new here and would thus be happy to answer any questions or concerns anyone might have.

My national premise is a human race that are living on a number of death-world planets within a single solar system with only interplanetary travel capacities and relatively modern(present day) technologies. However they are universally force sensitive/active but not force aware. Primarily it is a sub-conscious usage of the force on the order of a 'danger-sense' as well as enhanced reflexes, speed ext.

The idea I had was that a vessel of either Order(and that had happened to be carrying a number of holocrons) that had been damaged in one of the wars had been drifting through space until it finally ended up in the Oraetean system were it proceeded to crash which ended up triggering it's distress beacon. From there I'd be basically open-ended. Both the people and artifacts would be a valuable find which could lead to further stories.

I could be interested.

Most of the technology obtained before the Galactic Empire destroyed Nova Kretani and forced Anagonia into an Exodus long ago is maintained by Holocrons preserved in the Temple of the Orders. These Orders, both Jedi and Sith, keep ancient documents that were saved prior to the GE genocide and ancient starship technology that is currently being used today to construct Anagonia's newest line of warships. The information ranges from ancient Sith Lord's telling their most kept techniques to Jedi Masters informing about a certain point in history that would be used to teach classes for centuries to come. I'd let your imagination wonder on the subject because almost anything about Anagonian history is covered in the Holocrons. They are all protected by devote Order Members, and open to the public for free viewing.

But yea....hope that helps.

Oraeta: I like the idea and newness around here has little to do with this thread. As long as you have the capacity to write a coherent sentence, it's good enough for these purposes. Plus there is always the possibility of a character of yours joining the NSO.

Anagonia: It'll be good to RP with you again. Hope to see how your nation has changed since the last time the Abh loaned out all those ships to you.

To all: OG and I are planning on knocking out some of these story lines soon. There are a few threads needing to be wrapped up but I suspect that they will not take very long. Look for us to start talking with you shortly about your various stories.

Coherent sentences, I can do, most of the time anyways. As to a character becoming part of the NSO that'd open up a few interesting story lines. Will be keeping an eye here for any further developments.

There's plenty of stuff in my neck of the woods/galaxy...Force-users have been around since the Amazonians started up millennia ago and there's both Jedi and Sith (see-saw balance of power amongst the actual Amazonian civilization between the two...right now it's Sith but swinging back in a few upcoming threads) of the orders that have developed within Amazonian space.

Plenty of holocrons, force-imbued objects, tombs and mausoleums, a Dark Force planetoid, and other goodies all around in my place. The Capital (Amazonia) has the main Jedi Temple (now a Sith Temple, but it's pretty much always the same thing), there's a whole Sith hangout of temples, archives, and storage facilities on my Korriban-like world, something akin to a Malachor V asteroid with a training center that sits on the safe space lane into the nebula that houses the Core Worlds of the Dominion, and a couple other things...

The Force is a pretty big part of my civilization, so I go into a lotta detail there.

The NSO is interested in collecting/copying all Holocrons and gathing all Force artifacts possible. We are not only interested in Sith items.

The end result will be the largest Force Library on NS. There might even be the opportunity of being able to let people research things there but that is in the distant future after our position in the Universe is more secure. For now we are gathering resources while trying to make it look like others are doing it instead of us.

The first thread involving Mekanta is up for anyone that is interested in following along. I'll be talking to others down the road. I have also edited my first post to include a list of participants in the thread. If anyone would like to still be a part of this or pull out, please let me know.
