Re: Airline service

The Confederacy of Defense Corporations has secured permission from local governments to offer the chance to open routes to Singapore Changi International Airport in Singapore, Hong Kong International Airport in Hong Kong, Brunei International Airport outside Bandar Seri Begawan, Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila, Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Saigon, Macau International Airport in Macao, and Pudong International Airport in Shanghai. For each route, we offer eight gates (24 flights/day) for $100000 US and 1% of profits earned on those routes. We also request that you help us open up airports in United Gordonopia for cargo routes by Cathay Cargo, and help make available for purchase 1 hangar in regional (1-2 cargo flights/week) airports and 2 in major (5+ cargo flights/week) airports, including your capital's airport.

If this offer is accepted, we will consider opening up Seoul, Tokyo, Burtford (in Greater Dienstad), and Port Vincent (in St. Celestino), along with trans-Pacific routes to Darwin, Sapporo, Christchurch and Port Moresby.

OOC: Basically, the way I operate is that de jure (legally speaking), there are Filipino and Vietnamese and Bruneian and Chinese and Singaporean governments, but that they are all very strongly influenced by the Confederacy, which has de facto (practical, but unrecognized) power. Burtford and St. Vincent are in special economic zones I set up abroad, in NS states.

Gates yes. If you really want a full terminal, it would cost significantly more, due to construction costs - $100 million per terminal. More likely would be an 8-gate concourse (if you don't want just ordinary gates), which would run you $5 million per concourse, due to smaller (but still present) construction costs. The 1% tax on profits would still apply.

[OoC; Wait. So he's threatening to crash the plane if the pilot doesn't come out.
And if the pilot does come out, he'll crash the plane. That doesn't make very much sense, now does it? Furthermore, planes usually have around 3 or 4 bathrooms at most. That would leave you with 18 or 24, not 30.
Finally, you might want to get rid of those asterisks you use so much. Like instead of posting *They pull out guns* it would be 'The Vice-President and his guards pull out guns.'
You also might want to specify what kinds of guns.
That is all.
And why would the Vice-President of a country be a terrorist? Unless your entire country is full of terrorists.]

Actually. Airline doors between the passanger area and the cockpit are normally 3 to 4 inches thick of synthetic materials. More bullet proof than most kevlar vests.

Bullets are made of metal, of which standard metal detectors can detect. The only bullets that you would be able to get past would be rubber bullets, of which would do little damage to anything.

And you cannot tell him what his doors are made out of as that would be Godmodding and he can cut all RPing ties with you at a moments notice for Godmodding.

SCENE: 8th HAVOC Naval Battlegroup, Near Shazbotdom Miroxia
A flight team of 5 SA-32A "Thunderbolt" (http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk92/Shazbotdom/thunderbolt.jpg) Strategic Bomber/Fighters were being prepared for launch out of one of the Tempora Heroica Class Aircraft Carriers that were included in the fleet. The pilots were working in secret, unbeknownst to the international community. They would hit the air at high speeds towards the highjacked airliner associated with Union Global Airlines, approach it from behind and fire a barrage of 20 missiles out of the missile pods that were built between the two s-foil style wings on each side of the aircraft.

Their objective was to strike quickly and return to base unseen. The pilots suited up into their 4th Generation Space Suits, which would protect them form the vastness of space if their ships were to undergo malfunctions while they were traveling near the top of the stratusphere towards their target. Each Pilot climed into their respective Thunderbolt and prepared for launch. Lights signaled the first aircraft was to be launched in 5 seconds. 4, 3, 2, 1 and with a sudden jolt the ship was rocketed out of the front of the aircaft carrer by the catapolt while the engines roared to live at full speed. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 then the 2nd gets hurled out the front of the carrier. The 3rd is away, then the 4th and finally the 5th.

It would be a total of 35 minute flight to get to the point in which they would travel back down and skim the surface of the ocean until they reached opimum firing range. With that, the pilots pulled back on their sticks and flew upwards. Flying high towards the stars.
