OOC: This is just an introductory thing I'm writing, feel free to issue notes of welcome or threats of nuclear destruction. :p

"You don't suppose this is a bad idea?" Minister Angela asked her aide as they walked down the silent cold hallways of the Presidential Palace. "No madam, sooner or later we would have to do what we're doing now anyway..." The Aide replied breathlessly as he struggled to keep up with the Minister's brisk walk. "True true, I suppose you are right, its either now or some other time in the near future. Nevertheless, I'm not relishing the opportunity to propose this to the President and the Prime Minister." Angela shook her head, dreading this meeting with the two leaders.
"Good Morning Minister." The personal assistant to the President greeted Angela. "Oh? Err..Ahh..Yes Good Morning Samantha, I have an appointment with President Marco at 9?" The PA checked the planner, "Why yes you do. Please go on in." The two guards opened the double doors for her as Angela walked in, outwardly giving the impression of supreme confidence while inside trembling. "Mr President? The Minister Of Foreign Affairs is here to see you." The President looked up from the book he was reading, Angela stole a glance at the title, "Endenia, Before Decimation". "Thats quite a depressing book to read, Mr President. Its no use trying to remember the past before Decimation." President Marco shook his head, "I disagree, if we fail to remember the past, then what are we? Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it in the future."
Angela sighed as a show of surrender to the President's words and turned around just in time to see who was at the door, "Ah! Prime Minister Sarah, we were waiting for you." Angela gave the PM a concise curt nod and turned to face the President. "Mr President, Madam Prime Minister, the reason for this meeting is to address an issue that has come up. You created the Ministry For Foreign Affairs years ago but did not issue any goals or aims for the entire ministry. I have spoken with the other Ministers, we have agreed that its time to take Endenia Restos out of isolation and back to the world stage." She paused a moment to judge the President and Prime Minister's reactions to what she said. "And why must we step out of our isolation?" The Prime Minister asked. "We have survived so long after Decimation, we clearly don't need anyone else."
Angela nodded her head "That is true but we would be shooting ourselves in the foot if we don't open our borders to the world. The Restoration Ministry desperately needs higher yield Fallout Containment Vehicles and equipment, our military is vastly outdated and our economy is stagnating." The President kept silent, Angela took it as a hint to continue, "Also, what about the Blasted Lands, our military forces cannot strike deep enough against the rebels hiding out in there." The Prime Minister made a face of disgust at the mention of the rebels, "Bah! Those pitiful beings, useless scum who rather cling onto old ideas of empire and magic. The White Tower has fallen in Tar Valon yet they still think it can be rebuilt." Angela knew this was the moment to move in. "All the more we need to import weaponry to destroy them. Election is coming up soon, we did promise to stop the rebels once and for all..."
"Enough. Do what needs to be done Angela. I pray that you are making the right decision." The President gestured the guards to show both of them out. "As you wish Mr President."
3 Week Later.
"I would like to announce to the world, to all leaders and corporations, Endenia Restos exist. We have always existed but now are preparing to lower our isolation in view of globalisation, we welcome all nations and companies to visit our fine nation and to invest in our glorious nation."
Angela read the message. "Eh...This is good enough, send it out, along with our Dossier and the Embassy Form."
"As you wish."
