Background:
The Commonwealth of Brynesia was founded on the 22nd of March 1922 after an agreement was reached between the British Empire and Commonwealth, who had colonised the land and were the first inhabints of it, and the Brynesian Independence Party, or the BIP. Throughout the 1920s, the Brynesians embarked on a 'quest' to establish and build their nation, which they did. However, during the Second World War, Brynesia was invaded by the Japanese Empire, but a strong military backed by the U.S. Armed Forces defeated the Japanese, and throughout the reminder of the war Brynesia served as a crucial position for American military positions in the Pacific, which were closed in 1951.
During 1971-1974, conflict erupted between an underground communist group and the Brynesian Armed Forces throughout the nation, but eventually a peaceful resolution was reached and the communist group was established as a political party which is still present today, but is very small and with a severe lack of popularity. Such peace-seeking attuides has saved Brynesia many a time.
Throughout the reminder of the 20th Century, Brynesia gradually expanded their economic influence on the world and grew their military, which is now a strong force and a voluntary service.
With the dawn of the 21st Century, Brynesia has started making more efforts to establish diplomacy with many more countries, as the recent embassy program has proved.
