Following a recent, for us, and rather unfortunate grad student experiment we are happy to anounce that the ASD is back in working order again. The ASD along with the varangian islands, located nearby, were temporarily removed from time in an effect apparently similar to that experienced by those travelling at near-light speeds. While mere seconds passed for inhabitents nearly a year went by for everyone else. Due to the mass confusion and panic this caused, upon the return of the asd to normal time all foriegn force were recalled. A statement by the foreign affairs minister has been sent to all allied nations explaining and appologizing for the ASDs absence. All reaserch into time dilation and light speed travel has been suspended pending an investigation into exactly how a grad student with access to minimal equipment managed to wreck such havok though initial reports suggest cold-fusion may have been Involved along with dangerously unstable necklogen. While the student refused to comment on how he had aquired the equipment, when asked about his reasons for attempting the experiment the student replied " well booze was cheaper 40 years ago right? So I figgured I couod go back buy tons then drink it with my buds for cheap bro"
