Astholm is a nation within Europa; a continent close to Europe and Asia.
Its name means "eastern island or water-meadow", from Old English east "east" and Old Norse holmr "island or water-meadow".

The nation's main industries are automobiles, food and drink, and metals.

Astholm has many miles of roads, and rural areas too, so a car is a must-have.

The nation's population is mixed; Caucasian, and a variety of races co-exist peacefully.

Astholm has over 40+ automobile manufacturers, and many of them are European, North American, Japanese and Korean, with the brand names being used under license.

OOC: "Astholm" in NS context refers to Europa as a whole, since it is seen as the capital of Europa. Also, is my grammar correct for "under licence"?
Any Astholm mentions relate to Europa too.

Nice factbook, but where's information about the government? Who's your Head of State, Head of Government, Foreign Minister, Defence Minister, etc.?

Our ruler is known as AS, but his full name is never publically revealed.
Here is a list of our ministers:

Steve Spencer - Environmental Minister
Mike Jones - Crime and Disorder Committee (head of) - technically a minister, but the title "Minister"
Daniel Taylor - Trade and Industry Minister
Andrew Clark - Automotive Industry Minister (responsible for the entire automotive industry, including the roads as well).
