BREAKING NEWS: Riots break out in Kilmassie, Astholm
Riots have broken out today over in Kilmassie - with over 300 people injured and many buildings set ablaze.
An eyewitness has said cars were set ablaze, buildings were set ablaze and ruined inside and out, and there was mass fighting in the street.
Our correspondent over there has said the cause is not clear, but that the rioting has been going on for the last 3 nights.
Kilmassie is a village in Astholm near the border with the Republic of Ireshamland.
Astholm's ruler has promised immediate action, and has appealed for foreign aid to deal with the situation.
Kilmassie has now seen rioting further; 3 McDonald's and 2 Starbucks were destroyed today.

News update:
Three men were shot dead by rebels from the border with the Republic of Ireshamland. One was found to have weapons on him, although the source of them is unknown.

it is a mob (i.e. the general public) who are rioting. The causes are not known but it has now been running non-stop for 3 days.

IC: The riots in Kilmassie are growing bigger and bigger, it is getting risky to go there, our CCTV systems cannot get all of it, and our police force for that region is stretched to the limit - police cars, horses, vans with cameras, riot squad - all has failed so far.
The rioting mob has failed to stop, with now 340 people injured, and 22 seriously hurt.
No idea of the forces size needed as yet; but the neighbouring country is believed to be involved, my source says.

Further rioting has occurred right now; rioters are now attacking the local Fiat-Salbruz dealer, and have started stealing cars from it, £200,000+ of stock gone.
Kilmassie is a border town; it borders on Balyclamogue in County Kavel in the Republic of Ireshamland.

BREAKING NEWS: A cause for the riots has been explained.
Possible bias on local TV station UTV2 has caused rioting.
Accusations that regional news programming was overly biased has been given by a local resident. He remains neutral on the issue - and is not a rioter, nor a UTV2 employee.

The Scandinvan 1021 and 684 legions had begun their advance upon the city of Kilmassie. With their bayonets fixed, safety on their rifles off, and with tear gas at the ready, the Scandinvan forces had simply been ordered to take over the city and subdue any force that opposed the restoration of order. Further, tanks where spearheading the advance down the main straights with Crusader Tanks (M1A1 Abrams) and though were not ordered to fire their mains armaments they had been allowed to launch tear gas at the crowds and to fire their machine guns if need be.
As well, the other Scandinvan legions were beginning to arrive at a steady with parts of four other legions having shown up already with orders to advance into the surrounding country once they had the full powers of their legions had arrived. Further, a general order had been given to begin the take over of the entire country once the full strength of the Scandinvan legions had assembled, though this was to be kept as a order only known to the officers and would have to have to get strict orders from high command before the order was to begin implementation.
