Odon International Airport was the scene of the first act of what the Royal Court hoped would be a well conducted diplomatic conference with representatives from Lynion - a nation which had approached Lundastal with an offer to train its soldiers amidst the tides of war washing over the world. It had always been the will of His Majesty's Government to be neutral in all foreign conflicts despite its belief that the military must always be prepared. King Alaric VII and Queen Marienbard were currently out on vacation with the children so Foreign Minister Tancred Calcos had been given command of the conference - his newly found wife would be hoping for success at the mansion where they lived.

Calcos was dressed in one of the expensive suits he had purchased from one of the local high class shops while his secretary wore a simple business style suit with a skirt that covered some of her legs. She hadn't met foreign leaders before so the idea of the High King of Lynion visiting made her somewhat nervous but mostly anxious to meet him. There was an entire motorcade waiting for Vamp's arrival and citizens were looking to see the whole scene unfold.

"Sire," started Queen Kryxtal.

"You can call me grandfather if you wish," stated Vamp as the plane touched down.

"Grandfather, does the Lynion military need to train another military force?" Kryxtal asked Vamp as the plane came to a quiet halt on the runway.

"We're the best in the region and we can train other's. We can also use them to aid us if we ever get invaded," replied Vamp as he stood up. "Besides, there's being a wide concern about the recent world war,"

Vamp was being escorted by Mavax and his squad of three of Black Imperial Guardians. Kryxtal just rolled her eyes as her female escort, Liara, was following Kryxtal. The small party ventured out onto the runway as they were greeted by the officals of the nation. Vamp looked around as he noticed there was a large number of citizens watching them. He smiled as he noticed the officals were dressed up in fine business suits.

"Hello, I'm High King Vamp and this is my granddaughter Queen Kryxtal. We're here for the diplomacy between Lynion and Lundastal," explained Vamp as he waited for a reply.

Kryxtal was wearing something similar to Vamp but she didn't have the slouch hat. She noticed there was a number of officals waiting for them and wondered how many were military officals.

Tancred looked upon the two representatives of Lynion with a look that suggested he appreciated their presence in his beloved homeland. As he led the two individuals down to the motorcade, he spoke to them. "It is a pleasure to meet you both. I am Tancred Calcos, the Foreign Minister of Lundastal. Just follow me to the motorcade and we'll be driven over to where our meeting shall be held. Feel free to look out your windows to see the sights of our nation's capital."

There were some military representatives around including a young man who was staring at the Queen with a look suggesting he thought she was pretty but it didn't last long. He must have assumed Vamp and Kryxtal were married.

As they all got into the motorcade which then immediately began to proceed to the site of the diplomatic conference, Tancred spoke again. "We've been hoping that our nations can just do the usual to start with. Embassy exchanges and what not. I'm hopeful our meeting shall be productive, Your Majesties. Ask me any questions if you have any and I'll do my best to answer them."

Vamp just smiled as Kryxtal looked down the line of military representatives. There was one who was glancing at her but she put the thought aside. Vamp and Kryxtal didn't wear any rings of any kind except for Vamp's ring on his middle finger. It was the sign he was still the main figure in Lynion affairs and leadership.

"I hope our meeting will go productive," replied Vamp as he and Kryxtal entered the motorcade alongside with the others. "Especially during the trouble times of the threat of another world war," smiled Vamp as the motorcade went off as he looked around the city he was travelling through. "You do really good with your city," stated Vamp. "What's the population for the capital?"

Tancred laughed as he entered the motorcade with the guests from Lynion. "I am sure that the world's need to shed blood will not impair the productiveness of our meeting and, indeed, we pride ourselves on the upkeep of our capital. Millions live here including ministers of government such as myself and the Royal Family."

"You'll be surprised what some nations will do in desperate times," pointed out Vamp as he watched the city go pass him. "Tell me, whose the current leader of Lundastal?" Vamp asked as Kryxtal watched the city life go pass them. She usually keep to herself but at least she was over the death of her husband Ranakin. She missed him dearly and always wanted to grow old with him but sometimes, things never go the way you want them to go.

"What's the military like in your country?" asked Kryxtal. "I'm not asking for wars or battles. More like, training, equipment and leadership skills," added Kryxtal as Vamp was busy watching the people around them go past.
