Still forming the idea but so far I have this:
-The IC will be baised on the storming of Iwo Jima during the pacific campain of WW2.
- The thread could be the starting of a series of other WW2-battle orientated RPs from both the eastern and western fronts of the war.
- The role of players will be of troops from a coalition, no mater what side we eventualy choose. This way we're more inline with what the mods like.
This will be updated depending on poll results. For now everyone can vote on the polls that are put up. A template will be eventualy added here, as soon as some things are decided.

No, you cannot make a carbon copy for the purpose of reenacting or doing an alternate version of some historical event. You cannot refight WW2 as the Nazis, Soviets, British Empire, Japanese Empire, French Empire, and the States;

Since this is at DIRECT odds with this, maybe it could be between two of our own countries, but the same basic senario? That, I think, would follow the requirements.

Hmm, thanks for the heads up. What'll hapen is something like 'Steve yankeh is from bigtopiea, which is allied to America and has supplied it with troops, many of which are in the assult'. That kinda thing. IF you have a nation like mine where you don't have human populations then for the purpose for the RP.s of general acuracy they're human.

As for you Kenvat. If the mods ASK me to do that I'll do it. If they don't I'll assume they are happy with what I'm going with.

Lets just say that someone is invading another nation, and they put together a special task force for this from different contries.

It would be very fun to RP as Iwo Jima Japanese defenders,if you saw "Letters from Iwo Jima" you would see the heroism that outnumbered Japanese defenders put up against Americans.

well so far people have veered to the american task force so it's looking more like the Iwo jima thing is staying. Iwo Jima was an american invasion on a Japanese ocupied island. All we need to do really is decide who's role we'll be filling. We won't be that nation and indeed we wont even have to do what they did in the assult on the island, however we're stuck with one side invading Iwo Jima.

then vote on the poll silly. I voted for the Imperial reinforcements personaly, just to add that bit more diversity to the role of defenders but I've seen enough history shows to know how brave the japanese soldiers were.

squad based RP is lot easy then a Nation based RP as nation one just like any other war RP you seen on NS

I know Isa, it's why the offsite is gonna be Squad based or even individual charicter based, depending onthe thread.

Theres two free forum creators I know of, Freepowerboards and Invision. I personally prefer Freepowerboards as I find it simpler to use. Theres tutorials on either website.

Oh i see what he means. I was asked 'Did you make that site?' and I took it to mean thread. To correct my previous answer: No, I didn't make the site but i did make the fourum using it.
