A Day to Celebrate (Open to All)

Ixania - The birth of a child is always a special moment in the lives of the parents but one child's birth is being celebrated by not just the parents but by the entire nation. Empress Anastasia II had recently married Henri Diogenes of Mont Theotokos, a Pantocratorian prince who she had met during a visit to that esteemed nation and settled down with her new consort back in Ixania after a quick and lavish royal wedding where they were met with jubilant crowds who fully supported the marriage arrangement. Ixanians can recall hearing about how the couple was on a goodwill tour of the nation and how many citizens gave their support behind Emperor Consort Henri. Nine months ago, we were told that the Empress was certainly with child by leaked reports from the Imperial Court. People who heard about this were usually ecstatic. Today, the child has been born. At a healthy weight and quite adorable to the nurses, Prince Zerin of Ixania will one day inherit the throne after his mother is deceased. It is expected that he will be fully healthy according to the doctors on staff for the event and so far he is doing well in their care.

After the child was born and swaddled, the Empress and her new family were seen by the masses who cheered in support in the streets. Pictures of the infant prince appeared on television and newspapers when the Imperial Court released the details to the public. The Empress' mother has announced her "utmost joy" concerning the birth of her grandchild while the siblings of the Empress are reported to be in high spirits. Gifts have been sent from various ministers and organizations while private citizens have sent their best wishes. On the news, Ixanian citizens were interviewed about their thoughts and many of them just said that they hoped the child would live well. Schoolchildren have been given a holiday off school as a result of the birth but it's not expected to be a long one. It is expected that news of the birth will have a positive impact in the allies of Ixania. The birth came about two weeks after Ixania declared neutrality in the Grand World Order-Stoklomolvi conflict and the Empress is expected to get back into politics sometime this week.

OOC: Just send gifts and best wishes. Simple as that. Isa, I know you'll be looking at this thread so here's my explanation: Pantocratoria and I arranged all of this over MSN. He wasn't able to get enough time to do a full blown RP so we just did this instead.

Our government wishes to send a gift but cant decide what kind of gift to send. We wish to invite Prince Zerin to our nation when he is young enough.

As the news spread throughout LHC of Empress Anastasia II wedding to Prince Henri Diogenes of Mont Theotokos and birth of Prince Zerin of Ixania crowds began to gather at the Central Plaza of La Habana as well as throughout our island archipelago waving Ixanian flags reminiscent of her Royal tour as a show of the love and respect they felt for her during her visit.

Alberto and Irina send thier personal congratulations and love to Empress Anastasia II, her husband prince and new born son.

Romandeos wishes to extend congratulations to the Empress Anastasia and her consort, the Prince Henri, both on their marriage and the birth of the new Prince Zerin. Marriage is a joyous, blessed institution, and the birth of a child is always a cause for celebration.

Empress Taunja I and her own consort, King Gregory of Ixania, both also send Ixania's ruling couple their personal congratulations and best wishes.

Romandeos extends as a gift a standing invitation for Prince Zerin to come to Romandeos when he is of the appropriate age and attend any college that he is interested in on government scholarship. If he chooses to do so, of course.

In addition, the Empress and King of Romandeos wish it to be known that the Ixanian ruling family is always welcome in Romandeos.

Respectfully,

Dekho

The government of Dekho is pleased to hear about this little breathing gift to the people of Ixania. We wish Prince Zerin a happy life and a fair amount of siblings (if his parents agree, of course). We would also like to let you know that he is being given a permanent visa to Dekho. We are happy to see another great monarchy in the international community thriving.

We send two gifts to young Zerin. The first, a teddy bear made with real fur, is of a playful and trivial nature. the second is more serious and symbolic. It is a rifle plated with gold, reminding him of his future responsibility to both domestic and foreign affairs. It is fully functional, so by all means do not let him use it until he is old enough.

We are sending his parents nothing. There is nothing we can give them that they cannot get for themselves. However, we invite them to visit.

Sincerely,
Crown Prince Aristo

Official Communiqué
Foreign Ministry of Alfegos

The Foreign ministry wishes to write on behalf of the nation as a whole in congratulating the Empress of Neo-Ixania on the new addition to her family. We wish Prince Zerin a healthy, vibrant future.

As part of our gratitude, we have in transit to the palace gifts for the new-born prince, in the form of a series of carved wooden toys made by craftsmen from the island of Leo'los from native Alfegan hardwoods, guaranteed safe and 'child-proof'. In addition, for his and her royal highnesses, we have sent a set of fine commemerative jewellery, made from Alfegan Gold, Mik'va'ro'i Fire Beryls and Zevkhay Turquoise, each hand-carved with the Traditional Alfegan pictograms 'Lo'sa' and 'Yu'lo', translating as a fegosian wish for the prince and his family to have a long, healthy life.

We hope that these gifts are accepted with the greatest of joy, and for the Prince and his family to live long and healthily.
Yours,

Tai Tcha'dai

Achae-Ottonia

Dear Empress Anastasia, Emperor-Consort Henri, and Prince Zerin,

I was pleased to hear of the healthy birth of your son. Congratulations!

Though never bonded in a formal treaty, Achae-Ottonia has long considered the Ixanian Empire a friend and an ally, and upon the announcement reaching us there was widespread celebration in the streets. Not the least source of joy was that both mother and child are apparently without sickness, and that there is good health apparently all through the Ixanian Royal Family.

I would personally like to wish you both luck and happiness in the life of your new family. Speaking from experience (raising my brother's children), you're going to need all the luck you can get.

I do not know what could be a suitable gift for Prince Zerin, as I am sure he already has everything he could possibly need. However, I am sending something for which he may find use when is a little older: a chess set, made by the craftsmen of Umberia, and a bicycle (a good sturdy one) with training wheels and, of course, a well-designed helmet. If there is anything that may be more suitable as a gift, do not hesitate to tell me.

Yours sincerely,
Heinrich Hansburg II and Marie de Esla; Theria, Cornelius, and Ayea Hansburg; Publius, Hannah, Romulus, and Julius Marius; Saria and Aethius Flavius
Achae-Ottonian Royal Family
and Marshal Marcus Regulus and Marshal Wilhelm von Dredicburg
Best Wishes.

P.S. Good luck again.

P.P.S. We would be much obliged if your Majesties could pay a state visit to Achae-Ottonia on some future occasion.
