The Roughet Household - Jazriek City
Harper stared at the TV screen, shocked by what she had just witnessed. Going over it in her head, she replayed the screams of the anchorman and the sickening shrieks of her sister Sloane, or something that looked a hell of a lot like her, as she attacked the screaming man. Harper ran through to the kitchen, violently throwing up in the sink.
"Shit, shit..." She muttered, her hands shook as she wiped her mouth.
Gunfire sounded from down the road, Harper ran into the front room again and looked out of the window. Two men were fighting further up the road, one had a gun that was being fired randomly, he was being restrained by the other man. Harper restrained a scream as the man with the gun was pushed to the ground and his eyes gouged by the second man, who let out a shriek. Harper locked the front door and closed the curtains.
"What the fuck" She spat
A sharp tap at the window got Harper's attention, a shadow came through the curtains, moving violently against the floor. The tapping became banging as the person outside grew more distraught. Harper ran into the kitchen in time to hear the living room window smash and frantic footsteps following her. She turned around to see a disheveled man, the same man who had attacked her neighbour earlier. The man panted, a trickle of blood running down from his parted lips.
"Are you ok?" Harper whispered
The man shrieked, running at her. Harper screamed in terror, her hands found something along the counter, she raised it up above her head and brought it down on his, shutting her eyes as she did so. The sickening crack made her open her eyes to see the man lying on the floor, twitching slightly, with a meat cleaver embedded in his skull.
"Oh God," said Harper, looking up as more shrieks came from outside,"time to move."
Wincing as she did so, Harper put a foot down on the dead man's shoulder and pulled the meat cleaver out of his skull. No blood poured from his brain, it was congealed as though the man had been dead for hours instead of seconds.
Harper wiped the cleaver on the dead man's shirt. This was hell.

Jerry and his 2 marines had just arrived in the country to be re stationed at the Capital's military base. "What the hell?!?," yelled Jerry as a man jumped on another one and started whacking him with a baseball bat. "Sir, is this why we got restationed?" asked one of his men. " If this is why we got restationed then they wanted to kill us," said the other one. "SHIT," Jerry yelled as a man with blood spilling out of his head jumped him. Jerry's instincts kicked in and he broke the man's head. " Both of you! Get in and secure that store!" yelled Jerry pointing at a local gun store. He pulled out his AA-12 and covered the men as they ran into the store.

Flavius walked down the street moving to his rent appartment,but he heard strange noises from a dark alley next to his motel.It was jsut like something was scratching the concrete,he was very suspiciuos and intrigued to two women eating flesh of dead man...
He said to himself quietly...
"Yup,fuck it, they are probably hostile."

Suddenly the women turned and he looked in their eyes stained red,their mouth bloody and still holding onto mans flesh...When they saw Flavius they stood up,released an animalistic roar and started running towards him in a strange way...

"O,yeah bitches make my day beatiful,he said as he drawed out his silver hardballers and disposed the in their heads with two precise shots...
"Welcome to hell..."

The HH-60 Pavehawk came in low over the horizon. Leaning out the edge, two men in fatigues looked at the aftermath of the disaster in Suzannyah. Their mission was to infiltrate the country and secure an important Commonwealth citizen within the country. Finding a barren and empty field, the helicopter set down, it's wheels not even touching the ground as the two men vaulted out, landing with rifles at the ready.

"Gaudet and Case on the ground, Star 1-1 is outbound," the pilot radioed as it lifted off, picked up speed and left them alone.

"Gaudet here, moving to exfil our target," one of the men radioed.

ooc: my last post for today. just don't kill my guys.

Ziyo and Kenkon had landed in Suzzanyah a few days ago after orders from the KHQ. Already, they had experienced some pretty tough fighting.
"So, why are air-force guys being deployed on the ground?" thought Kenkon aloud
"Because there aren't any other units in the area." replied Ziyo, making sure that his G-36E was loaded and ready, and that his combat knife was in his leg sheath.
"Great. So they send us." said Kenkon, checking his uzies.

Walking outside, they see a scene of desolation.
"Pretty sad what happened here to Jazriek City." said Ziyo, as though he were a tourist.

Looking from left to right, Warren sneaks down the side street, scanning the darkness in front of him. When two shadows twisted and jerked ahead, he crouched lower and into the shadows. When the two other shadows ran past him, Warren breathed a sigh.

Checking his weapon, and then going down the path, he exited into chaos. Scanning the area past the retreating people, and the 'ragers' as he and a few other people were calling them, chased after. A gun store was a prime location, and there was some gun fire as three figures moved forward into it.

Outside, Warren fends off one of the infected, hitting one with the butt of his pistol, and then shooting two rounds. More came, and Warren retreated in the chaos through the halfway barricaded doorway.

"Shit. Going to half to sneak across the roof if I'm to get more ammo from that store." Checking the hallway ahead, pale white eyes looked back at him. Shooting his last four loaded rounds, Warren cursed under his breath, fumbling to reload. Pulling out his crowbar, a swift 'crack!' echoed in the darkness when he broke the skull of a women, who must've been a Rager.

Running up the steps and avoiding open doorways, he kicked the door to the roof open, turning and shooting down the stairway, making a small blockade of bodies. Running to the edge of the building, which wasn't very far from the store next door, Warren jumped and rolled onto the upper floor.

Now, what the heck to do from here, Andrew sighed. Why the heck did my parents have to go there then! They were one of the first to be infected.

He wandered down the streets, endlessly. Occasionally grabbing a scrap of food from a store who's owners were... well... somewhere else, he managed to survive - although sometimes narrowly avoiding bombs and missiles from military forces.

Andrew simply wandered the streets, looking for a group of survivors to hang with. He had a sword and a modded BlackBerry. Dressed in a hoodie, he often pulled it up to hide his face. Just a typical-looking teenager. Except he was alone.

He had exactly 14 days and 5 hours, 13 minutes, before they ran out of food and water, if they each ate a given amount of rations every so often. He was a boy playing with a blackberry, a zombie was running up behind him. Jerry took out a hunting rifle from the smashed case, sighted up and fired. He yelled for his men to cover him while hae ran out to get the boy. Jerry was 3 feet away when he saw an uberzombie. He pulled out his AA-12 and fired. Meanwhile the kid ran for his life. DAMN! he thought, now i have to chase after this ass hole. So Jerry ran until he caught up to him and yelled," Get over here! I'm not infected, my men and I are camping out. Suddenly, the uberzombie jumped between him and the kid. Jerry yelled something and fired. The zombie's head bursted and the kid was shocked.

OOC: I'm hoping I didn't god modd. Atleast i picked you up Kenny.

"Woah!" Robert jumped back a little and watched the zombie fall. "Umm... thanks for saving my life." He cautiously walked up to the man and offered his hand. "I'm Rob, or Robert." Pausing, he looked at his boots. "Do you... um... mind if I kinda... like... hang around you guys? Cuz my parents... were... like... well... not around any more. I can like help you guys get food and stuff and I have a communications device."

Gaudet and Case had moved from their drop-off point towards Jazriek City, all the while keeping in cover as much as possible. They had yet to see any infected, but had run across several natural deaths. Their luck ran out near the outskirts of the city, as a group of Infected began to advance on them. The commandos opened fire, dropping them before moving on farther into the city.

Gaudet stopped them as they did a map check, getting their bearings as they got closer to their target's whereabouts. Odds were that he was dead, but orders were orders. Packing up, they leveled their rifles and continued.

" What the hell have I been trying to say to you!?! Come on, before any of those brain dead asses get back," said Jerry.

Gaudet signaled a halt as they heard gunfire.

"That ain't from an infected," Case whispered.

"Yeah, no shite," Gaudet replied, jogging off in the direction of the shots. They peeked around a building, noticing two men and a younger boy...there were dead Infected nearby them.

"Commonwealth Special Forces!" Gaudet announced..."Friendlies?!"

" What the hell have I been trying to say to you!?! Come on, before any of those brain dead asses get back," said Jerry.

"That you are camping out? You didn't exactly invite me to join you. But whatever!" Robert almost ran off with the man to his spot, but stopped when he heard something.

Gaudet signaled a halt as they heard gunfire.

"That ain't from an infected," Case whispered.

"Yeah, no shite," Gaudet replied, jogging off in the direction of the shots. They peeked around a building, noticing two men and a younger boy...there were dead Infected nearby them.

"Commonwealth Special Forces!" Gaudet announced..."Friendlies?!"

"Which Commonwealth? There's a lot of them in this world you know!" Robert yelled. Then he reconsidered. "Screw that! Never mind! Later!" He paused for a second to make sure their attention was on him. "I don't know what else we'd be besides friendlies! We're hardly zombies-" He stopped. Mom... Dad... gone... Robert could barely hold himself together.

"Free United States," Gaudet said as he approached, showing the subdued Red Star with hammer and sickle on his arm. He shouldered his rifle, "Do you have any information of other survivors?" he asked.

Gaudet signaled a halt as they heard gunfire.

"That ain't from an infected," Case whispered.

"Yeah, no shite," Gaudet replied, jogging off in the direction of the shots. They peeked around a building, noticing two men and a younger boy...there were dead Infected nearby them.

IC: Jerry raised his shotgun. " We're friendlies as long as you aren't zombies," he said and then lowered to shotgun," I have a base, we are going to blow a hole through the next building so we would have access to food. The market is right next to us."

Flavius was trying to jump over rooftops as he wanted to avoid the Infected crowded streets,constant moaning was heard from the streets and hordes of infected were roaming through them,ocassionaly eating and canibalising each other.It was a bloodbath on the streets.
As he looked down he tried to make a plan how to get out of the ghost city..

he thinked as he drawed out his hardballers...

"Its showtime!" he quietly said to himself and like a shadow dissapeared behind a chimney..

ooc:EDIT Lets assemble at the hospital,it surrely has a helipad

"Extraction of who? Well, there's a hospital but I want to get my men, and get a plan before we go," said Jerry.
"High level citizen, we can't say more," Case said, "A hospital? That sounds like a good bet."

"How soon can you be mobile?" Gaudet asked.

" Soon as I drop him off and pick up one of my men," Jerry said and walked off with the boy.

"Hmm. I'm surprised the airport isn't more crowded. Must be the quarantine set up." said Ziyo, walking around, G-36 held nonchalantly.
"Whatever. Where do you think we could find survivors? There's no way we're getting out of here, our own government would probably blow us out of the sky."
"I saw a hospital on the map, that's a pretty good bet." replied Ziyo
Suddenly, a roar was heard from behind them, and a group of the undead charged the two Kagetorians, who openned fire, quickly decimating the attackers.
"Sheesh, you'd think they'd have some originality." said Ziyo, refilling his clip.
The pair began to walk towards the hospital a few blocks away, occasionally taking out small hordes of zombies.

Jerry, his trooper, and the other 2 men were near the hospital. Jerry say a 2 men walking in from the corner. Jerry knelt sighted up and yelled," This is 101st, and FUS military! Stand down. I repeat Stand Down." Not sure if they were hostile or not, it was better to take precaution.

"Kagetorian Air Force!" yelled Ziyo, raising his weapons above his head, hands off the trigger. Kenkon put his Uzies on the ground.

"Ok, join up with us! We're heading to the hospital," said Jerry getting back up.

"Great, that's where we were going anyway." said Ziyo, slinging his gun around to his back, and watching Kenkon replace his uzies in their holsters.

A door came crashing down between the group. It spun a few feet, and then crashed to a stop, tipping over a counter. "Sorry! I must have used a little bit to much gum. And gun powder. And pipe bomb. I can fix that!" Warren poked his head out in the open. "Have you guys seen any ammo around here?"

"Is this how all military treat it other?" Rob looked with disdain upon the conduct of the military figures here, especially Jerry. (OOC: Or whatever, sorry bout that.) "Have you even heard of <insert expletive of choice here with "ing" on the end> Kategoria? There's a lot of mistrust here. Why can't we just all get along - and who ARE you after, Free United States guys? Maybe we can help you. And the hospital should be a good place to start. C'mon!" He immediately turned to the nearest hospital he knew that sounded like what they were going to and started walking. "I could teach you guys how to get down the street without letting every zombie within twenty blocks that you're here!"

Case and Gaudet looked at the man with quiet indifference. This wasn't their country, Hell, the Commonwealth didn't even have an embassy here. They simply turned back and continued their trek to the hospital.

At least twenty dead bodies were being devoured by carnivoric zombies inside....as Flavius allready scouted ahead...

"It's here," Gaudet said, handing over their GPS device. It showed their position, and a pulsing blue dot was the residence. "It's pretty close, so if you all want to stay back, we can go on our own," he added. "It's our mission after all, not yours."

"You know, if you were to go, you would essentially be condemning me to die," he said in a rather distracting tone. Meanwhile, his hand slowly crept into his pocket and took out a BlackBerry 9000. So... who is this target, anyhow?

Yah... about that... we, or at least I, wasn't/weren't that sure if you were nearby. And if we were to acknowledge that now at this late time, no offense, but it would mess everything up. Can you do that again to make everything all nice and pretty?

"All right, wait for me to get there, then follow," Case said, sprinting to Gaudet's position. As he got there, he patted Gaudet's shoulder, and the other commando leapfrogged to the next car. Case turned around and waved him forward.

Reshouldering his AR, Ziyo beckoned Warren out.
"I like the way you negotiate. People are usually more agreeable with a gun in their face."

"As head of Virology, I can hire anyone I want for my research," Aurel explained. He turned to Rob, "You want the job?"

Jerry shots himself in the head because there is no way that he is getting out of this. And before he shot himself he unpinned all of his grenades and dropped all his claymore and all other explosives.

Aurel grabbed Rob's arm indignantly, staring back in his best 'professional' manner at the soldiers.

"I'm going, but only if my research assistant comes with me, okay?"

"Come on, let's go," Gaudet said, placing Rob and Aurel between him and Case as they headed for the extract point.

"It's a building not too far from here," Gaudet explained, "It has a helipad, so we should be all right."

"Rob, this is what I need," Aurel immediately got down to business. "I have the genetic mapping done, but, what I don't have is a way to analyze it. I'm not that good with computers, and my laptop doesn't have the power to compute human genetic code...is there anything you could do?"

"Rob, this is what I need," Aurel immediately got down to business. "I have the genetic mapping done, but, what I don't have is a way to analyze it. I'm not that good with computers, and my laptop doesn't have the power to compute human genetic code...is there anything you could do?"

"Is there anything I can do? I can help you with writing an analyzing program - or stealing it, for that matter. Those types of programs are what hold up genome sequencing operations. The fastest way would just be to steal it from someone else, like hacking. But then you would need a supercomputer, in essence, to figure it out for you. I say the best bet you have is to go to your government and get hold of a supercomputer, or get your hands on one somehow. I'm sure you won't have much trouble with that. I could perhaps get you an analyzing program and modify it a little bit... unless you want to go legal?" ROb smirked at the end, but then receded into a frown. "This will be incredibly tricky to pull off."

OOC: What did the Human Genome Project use for computers? Quote from Wikipedia: "Using a complex genome assembly algorithm and a supercomputer," I follow the link through the supercomputer and come up with... nothing. Same with Google searches. Jeez.

AND THEY HAVE GUNS!" yelled Jerry as he grabbed the 2 kids and pushed them behind a doorstep. Then he took out his AA-12 and started firing at them while the others ran to the other side.

Turning around, he quickly went right next to Jerry, but still remained within cover of the building. "Sir! Can I help!" he yelled, hoping Jerry would hear him over the noise of his gun.

"Woahhh!!!" Rob felt himself land on the ground again. Is this a roller coaster? He tried to stand up and take sense of his surroundings, but felt very groggy.

"Actually..." Aurel pondered, "Maybe I can comandeer a computer onboard their ship."

Gaudet kicked the door to the roof open, and they were greeted by the sight of the Pavehawk hovering just above the roof. The wheels touched down as they approached.

"Who's all this?" the crew chief asked.

"Ask the boy-wonder," Case spat as he lifted Aurel onto the helicopter. He and Gaudet were next, before assisting Jerry and Rob. As Rob's foot left the ground, the helicopter lifted off.
