IC:
Some odd years after the Tantis's defeat and after Circle of Corruption stories...

Location: H.S.S. Terminator, Coruscant

"... It will be done my Lord." Darth Aelikes bowed down to a fading holographic image of Emperor Vader. He marched out of his personal chambers with a datapad containing new orders of a special project to be researched and developed. He sat down in his Ready Room and activated his intercom He only knew few of the people in the Huntarian Empire who were capable of coming up with the needed technical specifications and creation of such a device requested from the Emperor. The other names were kept top secret, to which even the second in command of the Huntarian Empire had limited access too. He found this to be quite frustrating, since at any time the Huntarian Emperor could die from either natural causes or from another assassination attempt. Yet there was one which he had ready access too.

"Admiral Khal, report to my ready room."

"Yes sir." Admiral Khal, a cold blooded Admiral who's very ambition has been to seek the ultimate destruction of the enemies who had ruined his marriage during the Tantis Invasion some odd years ago. Originally leading a brief vendetta campaign of war against the Coredians and the Masaki Clans, Khal has temporarily retired from the vendetta to work on a colder war of technological research. It only took him a few moments to activate a site-to-site transport to reach Aelikes's Ready Room.

Aelikes sighed as he heard the high pitched hum of the Transporter Beam. He looked at Admiral Khal as he dematerialized in his room, "don't you believe in knocking?"

Khal saluted his superior, "yes sir, but previous experience has told me to use the transporters to avoid being seen for our kind of discussions. What is it you seek?"

Aelikes slowly nodded, "we have a new task set from Emperor Vader." He handed Khal the datapad.

Khal frowned, "that's it? We already have one constructed."

"The Emperor requested a different design, one which will look more Imperial than Huntarian."

"Aah. What about our other... Projects?"

Aelikes paced back and forth for a bit before replying, "we cannot trust Nightshade herself with the kind of weapons which we'll be developing. The Force has told me her time of ruling is coming to an end especially after the failed attempt to protect Project Tantis from falling into enemy hands. We do need someone we can trust and count on in the Tenetian Empire though."

Khal thought about it for a few moments, "Kabuto. The crazy medical doctor of hers. He seems to be the kinda guy who knows when someone's reign of power is over. I think we can count on his support for his medical expertise and genetics."

Aelikes nodded, "indeed. If you know of anyone else like that, contact them on a secured channel. I'll be sending an invitation to Arthur Rashin for some of our Weapons research should he be interested. You have your orders, you're dismissed Admiral."

Khal saluted once more, "Aye sir." Before long, he shortly found himself opening a communication's frequency with Kabuto...

They call him plenty of colorful names, like the Mad Doctor and the Head Bitch's asskisser. But everyone knows the grey-haired medical expert and taunter of Masaki's brood, Yakushi Kabuto was a brilliant medical expert and has done much to improve Tenetia's health infrastructure and then some. Of course, his real talent lies in the experiments that he conducts alongside the renowned and also mad Dr. Shou Tucker.

And that, in part, was the topic of the day.

"Hello, what's this?" He murmered as he entered his private apartment to see a message waiting for him on his terminal. "Ah...the Huntarian Empire. I wonder what they want."

He checked that his connection was secure even from the eyes of the Empress and tapped a key. "Kabuto here..."

Aelikes bowed, "Ah, dear Kabuto, I've been expecting you. I've contacted you on this secured channel due to the subject matter. Just so that you know, there will be no recordings of this communication and will be erased upon termination." Aelikes paused for a few moments, "The Empire has been working on several Top Secret Projects for the last few years, yet we have been unable to get the test results which we need. Apparently, we lack the specific medical experience which you posses it would seem not that we lack the doctors to do the job mind you. Do you feel up for a slight... Change of loyalties?"

"Interesting." Kabuto mused aloud. "Yes...I think I'll take up your offer. How shall I inform the Empress of my absence?"

"Tell her you're taking a leave of absence if you must. Don't mention anything to here as to where you are going. Nightshade's lack of security as of late has raised some concerns in Huntarian R&D. We still need Tenetia on our side though. If there is anyone you can think of who will be loyal to you and will not speak of this mission to anyone else, bring them along. We're looking for a few weapons experts as well, especially ones on Singularity weapons. That will be all Doctor, I will expect to see you on the Terminatr shortly." Aelikes's image then faded to black from Kabuto. Aelikes sighed, now there was only the waiting acknowledgment from Arthur Rashin.

It has been difficult, but it would appear that we have finally developed the most appropriate casing for the Huntarian version of a Singularity Bomb provided by the mysterious Bunta, obviously some form of a Empire Nobleman or loyalist within the Masaki Government. Shame he had to die, he could've provided more useful service by giving us more information on Coredian technology, such as that new anti-dimensional device of theirs which prevents certain *error, data corruptionNosferatu Class* ships of ours from working properly.

However, the devices which the *error, data corruption H.S.S. Nosferatu* launched seemed to have errored. I've noted that we have only developed half the potential firepower which the Coredian equivalent has provided for us. Kinda pathetic if you think about it. Perhaps when Kabuto or Arthur arrive we can fix that error.

*Pause*

Note to self: I will be erasing the names of the top secret ships which I have just mentioned in my logs to prevent enemy spies from discovering their own existence. After all, our government has all but denied their existence and has declared their crew either dead, AWOL, or MIA.

Signed,

Fleet Admiral Khal, new head of Special R&D Department.

God... Damn... It. I've never thought I'd say this, but I really just hate messing with the Undead. Really, haven't the Kirtir Lords ever read any of the ancient books or holocrons from Shamans and Sorcerers? Vorman knows what he's talking about at least, but he refuses to take charge on this one. Something about he has business elsewhere to take care of. *snort* Not very likely. The stupid bitch Kirtir Lady Shelentiave almost ruined everything. She "demanded" to practice her skills with a double blade on a small horde of them in a controlled environment. *louder snort* Like there is such a thing with them... Unpredictable little bastards.

The guard who lowered the force field to one of their cages got killed in the process, and apparently the Zombies have figured out how to use the on/off switch and released all the other test subjects and went on a flesh eating frenzy. The nanites which we had installed in their bodies didn't respond to any of our command functions when the scientists attempted to take over after we killed 'em all. Damn Kirtir Lady shocked 'em all with her Sith Lightning powers. The only reason why she's not dead is because her brother has close ties with the Godulans and their Kythons. If he got word of her death, even though she's technically his enemy, he'd wage a war of vengeance on us once again as he did before.

Note to self- Any other Kirtir Lords other than Lord Vorman and Darth Aelikes who attempt to enter the Labs will be shot on site, even Emperor Vader. No questions asked. They may know about our tests all they want, have all available info ready for them, but they lack the wisdom needed to be able to walk our halls. An environment working with these creatures is fragile at best.

Signed,

Fleet Admiral Khal, new head of Special R&D Department.

"Hmm. This could be tricky if she's moody..." Kabuto mused. "Nevertheless...when the Kirtir call..."

A weapons expert, she likely wouldn't miss. She has plenty of them to spare. It would be trivial to take one with him. Now...the Projects Aelikes hinted at...they may have something to do with medical expertise. Perhaps he could call upon Dr. Tucker's services for his own brand of medical expertise? Perhaps. Tucker's assistants can take up the slack for now.

It's settled then. Two doctors and a weapons expert. A short letter to Nightshade explaining that Emperor Vader has called upon the two doctors' services and that they will be away for some time will do. Not like she could do anything about that.

With that settled, the grey-haired man moved quickly, ordering a shuttle to be ready for him. He chose the expert he needed with care and spoke with Tucker, who seemed happy to be of service to the Kirtir. With that done, the shuttle was boarded and soon headed out of Tenetian space. At the same time, the letter was delivered to the Empress. She read it and growled slighty at the idea of the Emperor-in-a-robot-suit taking away two of her important retainers, but reminded herself of her station within the heirarchy with a shake of her head...
