Just outside of Kryapt,Bellum Addo

The echoes of drunken laughs filled the streets as fireworks lit up the sky above.Revellers from the festivities were making their way home.Little did they know of the atrocities which would occur in this small town.The people thought their was nothing of any value to attackers here.A small army base nearby but who would attack an army base right?

A young looking guard stood in the doorway of a bar, overlooking the town square for anything amiss.Dmitri Diyanin had just enlisted to help fight the Capitalist rebels from across the border several miles to the east.The breakaway state of Adobeia had somehow managed to gather arms and an impressive amount of men.
"Not as impressive as ours though" He frequently told himself.
The war between the two factions had waged on for years and it didn't seem like stopping.Some countries had interior rebellions of course, but who had ever heard of a rebel group seizing a whole region?

Dmitri looked up at the sky to the fireworks.He smiled to himself.
Atleast he wasn't living in poverty like the scum over the border.

Unseen, the leather clad figure made his way through the alleyways of Kryapt, his ancient Tokarev by his side.He was going to ignite the fuse to the major attack on the Socialist devils.
Now he just needed a victim...

Dmitri continued watching the town square, then looked at his watch.
Nearly one in the morning.His shift should have ended one hour ago, But with most soldiers on the battlefield or abroad he was stationed here.In a small dilapidated town which posed no value to the enemy.

The Figure broke into a run down another trash filled alleyway.He turned the corner and saw the figure of a young looking man in Military Uniform.
"Excellant."The figure whispered sadistically.

The party in the square had drawn to a close and the fireworks was all gone.The crowd started to trudge away from the place when a sharp BANG! alerted them.
They looked up to the skies.No fireworks.Odd.
A womans scream alerted them to what had happened.
Blood trickled over the old cobbled road.
A body lay in the streets of Kryapt.
The crowd rushed over to surrond it.
The bodies tag simply said; "Pvt. Diyanin"

Before the townsfolk had time to take the body inside, a mortar shell crashed into a building not far from the congregated group and exploded , showering them with debris and human limbs.
Troops armed with Ak47's and MP5's rushed into the towns square, surronding the crowd.
"Capitalist Scum!"One citizen shouted.
His comment was met by a bullet to the head.
The whole town was ransacked and every resident thrown onto the streets.
By daybreak, the whole town was dead.

Miskiya 9Am

President Victor Yubarev had been roused from his sleep earlier than usual by his aides after reports of a massacre in a small country town in the Kurditsin region of Bellum Addo.This alone was alarming news for the president but the pictures made matters worse.
"Rebel troops Mr President.A whole troop,Its believed they have armour as well."The Aide stated.
"No suprise amount of land they've taken from us"The President snapped.
The President let out a sigh and put his head in his hands.
"I have no idea how they got past the border but i know this now.With several troops on active duty i cannot combat this destruction from within.I need help."


Official Communique from the desk of the President of the The United Socialist Provinces of Bellum Addo

It has come to my attention,early this morning, that a sizeable garrison of troops wishing to overthrow the current government of Bellum Addo have pertook in an unprovoked slaughter on Citizens of Bellum Ado.
The current death toll stands at 3500 and with most of my countries major battalions fighting off Bellum Adobe,The country from where these rebels come from, and keeping our nation safe, I feel the need to ask for the help of foreign nations to help in my nations plight.Several of my units which were on standby are being grouped and moved to where they are needed.But their numbers,i fear, will not be sufficient enough to defeat the Rebels.

I am President of the People's Council of Nova Yavin. We have received your communique seeking assistance. Being a nation of like-mindedness we are willing to send forces to strengthen our brethren abroad. Currently we have undergone a peaceful separation from our Imperial taskmasters but we have a sizable military force of those who remained in our borders. If you desire, Nova Yavin already has placed 40,000 troops on standby for deployment and another 100,000 troops by next week with 160,000 by the end of the month totaling 300,000 troops.

<A Civilian Battlehawk Aircraft above the Rebels base>

"Are you sure this is going to work?" Sergeant Harry Gardine asked as he attached his M4A1 SOPMOD to his clip and checked his buddys parachute and gear.
"We should pick up as a civilian aircraft" Captain John Smith commented as he checked his PDA.
"Good, what happens when we get on the ground?" Harry asked.
"Well in theory we'll land near the rebels base and we'll work from there" John replied "Have you taken anything that ID's you as Battlehawk Special Forces?"
"Before we left" Harry grinned "SO how are four men such as ourselves going to help the rebels?"
"Well, we don't need to teach how to fight as their soldiers" John replied "But if they keep going in with full force they'll eventually be destroyeed, we need to teach them the finer parts of gurilla warfare"
"Oh joy, GW" Harry groaned as the light turned green
"Lets go" John called and the Four of the men jumped from the plane down to wards the base...

9.05AM
Igor Spasitski looked out of the window of the ruined mayoral hall to the corpses stacked haphazardly in piles across the town.Step one had been completed.He had hopefully ignited fear in the heart of the coward president.

Igors second in command a middle aged balding man, burst into the room holding a small piece of paper.
"Aleksei,What is this?"Igor questioned.
"President Yubarev has sent a plea to all nations for help defeating us"Aleksei replied.
"I didn't think the old man would be scared into appealing for help so soon.Once we disable the countries main defence networks and the glorious Capitalist army invades these lands,then they shall fear our name and nation!"

Inside one of the basements of a shelled out building, A blip appeared on one of the newly installed radars.
"Captain!"The operator shouted.
"What Borovski?"He replied.
"we have unidentified aircraft currently nearing our position."Borovski stated to the officer.
"Ah do not worry Borovski."The officer said,giving him a pat on the shoulder,"I have been told to expect some "Experts" to assist in repelling the Government troops."

The Team was down on the ground. They detached themselves from the paracute and hid them in the undergrowth. They then got their weapons and began to cautuiosly make their way to wards the base.
"So are these the good Ustionians or the bad Ustioninas (Hope thats the right name)" Gash asked.
"Well they won't shoot us on sight if thats what you mean" John commented.
"Thats good enough for me" Gash said.

"Bovorkski!"Officer Kuzak yelled "Any news on that team yet?"
"No sir,The plane just flew overhead and then disappeared off the radar."Bovorski replied.
"Hmm,Very clever.I guess we won't be seeing our "Allies" till they choose to reveal themselves."



Outside of Kryapt

The four T-80 rumbled over the cobbled road towards Kryapt, the Rebel flag flutterring in the slight breeze.The tanks were stopped some distance from the town by a well built man holding a M60.
The hatch of the tank opened and revealed a rebel soldier.
"4?Is that all you could steal?4 tanks?Spasitski won't like this one bit"The guard spat.
"You just wait my friend, we have a suprise for you all..."

The four soldiers crawled up to the top of a ridge near the rebel base.
"So, shall we go down there or shall we have some fun?" Harry asked.
"Oh I think some funs in order, lets have a look at their reaction times" John commented with a grin "Each throw a smoke grenade into the base and see what they do"
Seconds later four smoke grenades were in the air and landed in the base sending smoke billowing around the buildings

OOC: My Spec fors are a tad eccentric, :-)

The smoke made its way throughout the buildings,choking them with the fog.
A young soldier looked down at the smoke grenade.
"Cyort!" He shouted. "Smoke,Alert!Alert!"
Within minutes, the troops had gathered their weapons and made their way outside,Snipers had been positioned atop the taller buildings in the town.

Igor looked at the smoke billowing out from the buildings.
"It looks as if the communists are attacking us already and those soldiers which were sent haven't arrived yet."
Igor looked at his Tokarev and gripped it in his hand.Whatever was happening,he wasn't going down without a fight.

"Not bad" Gash commented as he watched the snipers through the scopes "But they need to put sandbags on those roofs I could take out their snipers from here"
"I can't see many machine gun nests" Harry commented "They are using cover well to their advantage"
"Alright fire a few shots off away from the base, make it look like we just killed a enemy skirmish party. The team nodded and fired some shots away from the base into the hills.
"OK, we'll follow that dip towards the base" John ordered.

The four T-80 tanks finally made it into the middle of the town.Theiving from the goverment had been a good idea.
Igor made his way out of the Mayoral hall to inspect the new addition to his taskforce.
Commander Rodernov,the man put in charge of artillery and tanks, brought his hand into a swift salute when he approached.
"Sir reports from the snipers,they've heard shots, the group that sent smoke grenades into our buildings have bee neutralized by an unseen group."Rodernov Stated.
"Understood Commander.I want Guards stationed on watch around the clock.We can't squander this chance.

Miskiya-Capital of Bellum Addo

General Barakov clambered into the Mil Mi-24 attack helicopter,he motioned to the pilot to begin flying, and soon he and his squad of 15 highly trained and loyal shock troopers were flying over Bellum Addo to Fort Yubarin.The Capitalist scum will feel his blade tonight.


OOC:I may be away for up to an hour.Got something to do.Will continue Roleplaying when i get back.

The Team made their way towards teh base. Keeping low and advoiding patrols. They were able to reach twenty metres away before they we stopped by searchlights. They waited for a break in the lights before running to the edge of teh buildings.
"How we gonna show ourselves?" Harry asked.
"Walk down the street?" Gash commented
"Why not"

"Commander!Four armed men spotted.Around twenty metres away."The guard put in charge of the searchlight shouted.
"Get troops over there and find out who they are,if they are the Communist's troops...Kill them"
15 Soldiers quickly grabbed their rifles and rushed into the streets.All intent on finding these mystery figures.

Somewhere over the region of Kurditsin

"You all understand your mission?"General Barakov barked at his assembled team "We get into the Town and we take out as many of these Rebel scum as we can.But we must capture one man.The ringleader."Barakov reached into his pocket and pulled out a small faded picture of a man in his 50's with a distinct scar running down his cheek.
"This man is Igor Spasitski, he is controlling this group of rebels and is rumoured to be a central member of the Bellum Adobian Democrat party."Barakov commented.
"So we go in,kill the guards,get him,get out."replied Yuri Banvorich,Barakovs second in command.
"That is correct Yuri so long as nothing goes wrong."Barakov stated.

Gash tapped the Searchlight guard on teh shouldor. Haven taken the mans knife and weapon. he also took a prudent step back as the guard swung at him.
"Alright calm down" Gash grinned "Battlehawk Army, we beleive you've been expecting us"

The guard looked at them strangely before the Commander relieved him.
"Battlehawk army then?Come.I will take you to Mr Igor and he will tell you the information.
The Commander turned on his heel and started to walk through the alleyways to the ruined Mayoral hall.
The various soldiers raised their weapons at these strange people but the Commander made the signal to stand down.
"Come friends,The leader is inside."

Fort Yubarin

The Helicopter landed on the Helipad in Fort Yubarin with a bump.
"Ok guys,we're going to hitch a ride on a hummer close to the town and watch the place till nightfall.Got it everyone?"Barakov Shouted.
"Yes Sir!"The soldiers dutifully barked back.

The team nodded and followed him inside
"Sorry for the comotion we cause" John commented

"That was you?"Quizzed the Commander."Hmm we thought it was the Capitalists troops.No matter though.".
The Commander pushed the oaken doors of the mayoral hall and stepped inside.
Bodies were piled up at the sides of the wood panelled corridor and the various off shooting rooms had all been pillaged of anything with value.
The Commander walked down the corridor and reached the blood stained marble staircase.
"Such a nice town,pity it was in the hands of our enemy."The Commander lamented.
The Commander finally reached the door of the office,and after a brief nod and a whisper to the two intimidating guards, was let inside.
Igor sat on the edge of the desk,looking at the group assembled in the room.
"Im guessing you're the team sent to aid me and my soldiers "problem"".Igor Chuckled...

Fort Yubarin
"Get on the Humvees now!"Banvorich shouted to the team stationed at Fort Yubarin.
The team did as they were told,Banvorich taking the seat next to Barakov.
They were waved through the gates,The game was on.

"Thats us" John said

"Excellant..Now ive heard you four are somewhat experts in the field of Guerilla warfare.My troops on the other hand have just came from the battlefield.Some inexperianced, but they all have a strong resolve and all are loyal.I am sure you know that loyalty is a major factor on the battlefield."Igor drawled."Sources inside the Government have told me that already a squadron of Spec Ops has been designated to clear out this town of any rebels and rebel sympathizers and bring me to the Military base.That cannot happen.I need to keep an entrenched position here until the glourious Bellum Adobe army finally breaks through the Communist's lines to the east.Then we will easily have enough men to spearhead the attack to Miskiya."

Somewhere south of Kryapt
The Humvees sped over the farmland south to Kryapt.Night was falling swiftly.
General Barakov wiped his sweating brow and itched at his greying hair.This was to be his final operation,then he would take his much deserved retirement.He quickly put these thoughts out of his mind.He must concentrate on the task at hand.He was going to take that town.For the people.For the President.For Bellum Addo!

"With respect" John siad "Before you engage the enemy in an open battle you should send teams to take up postions on the roads and destroy enemy convoys that come up the roads, my team have some suggestions on how you can improve your defences"

"Open battle?"Igor laughed "We are deep within enemy territory and outnumbered.We are just here as placeholders.Those tanks outside won't last long.Our supplies are barely being dropped in safely.But i will listen to your suggestions."Igor snapped his gaze onto the Commander.
"Get some troops patrolling the roads.I dont want a Communist taskforce sneaking up on us."Igor snapped.
"Yes Sir."Replied the Commander.
Igor turned back to John.
"So..What are these suggestions?"

Near Kryapt

The Humvee rolled to a halt.
"Detski.Any sign of guards or tanks or anything?General Barakov snapped.
"Nothing within my line of vision Sir."Detski replied.
"Ok carry on down the road."Barakov Ordered.
The driver obliged.

The Snipers you post on the roof, they're very vunerable without sanbags or some other type of cover" Gash commented

"Hmm"Igor Pondered "I suppose that is true.I will speak with the commander when he returns and make sure they are adequeatly protected,Now i suggest you four have a look around the town.Get aquainted,For their will be fierce fighting here for perhaps many months."With that Igor gave them all a nod and walked out the office,leaving the four soldiers standing there.

Outside the Commander barked orders for the soldiers to form up in groups and set up guard posts around the towns borders.The troops did as they were told and began trudging off in all directions.

Just outside of Kryapt-Nightfall
The bright lights of Kryapt could now be seen on the horizon.
The Humvee stopped and they all bundled out.
One of the soldiers prouduced ghilli covering meshs for the Humvees and they all helped place them on before running off to the ridge overlooking the Town.

"Alright boys" John said to the team "Gash, Get yourself up to a vantage point and start sweeping for enemy troops, take a look at the ridgeline where we hid as well"
Gash nodded and went
"Muppit, go and see what they've got int he way of claymores" John ordered.
"Me And Harry'll go and talk to some of the guards"

The guards who weren't on guard duty or snipers often congregated in a suprisingly intact bar,complete with billard table and jukebox.One of the soldiers had even found a supply of alcohol but this had been confiscated after a soldier had drunk to much and began shooting at the new tanks.Nontheless it was one of the few places in the town that was homely and not shelled.
Cigarette smoke drifted slowly out the door of the bar and laughter echoed out of it.
The guards were all seated around one large table,passing along the alcohol they had smuggled with them.Every one was in a joyous mood despite the sheer hopelessness of their task.But they didn't let it bother them.They were patriots,defending their country from the blight of Communism.

Kryapt Farm lands.

The team snuck its way across the farmland through crop fields and rivers,getting ever closer to the town of Kryapt.
The noise of chatter caught their attention.
"Get down!"Hissed Barakov.
They all ducked into the tall grass and watched.
Five soldiers armed with Ak47's trudged past their hiding space, chatting and laughing.
"When i give the signal,Aim then fire."Barakov whispered.
They all loaded up their MP5's and targeted the Rebel troops.
"Now!"Barakov Roared, standing up and began to fire at the troops.
The others followed suit and soon enough the group was decimated.
Except for one,struggling individual.He was going to die anyway 3 bullets to the chest and one to the abdomen.But the survivor reached into his pocket and ,before the group coud shoot him,pulled the pin on a distress flare and threw it on the ground.The survivor then laughed and died.The flare lit up the night sky and could easily be seen from the Town Barakov reckoned.
"We're moving.Now!"Barakov Shouted running off back into the tall grass...

[OoC; Time to join in. Just so everyone knows, I'm a slight Socialist that will be fighting on his own side. So I'm not allied with any one of you. Does your country have a coastline?

At the Heirosoloan Military Headquarters, nicknamed the 'Tree Fort' because of it's eccentric design, the images taken by a Recon. UAV were carefully being reviewed. The UAV had flown over the rebel town last night, in preparation for a Heirosoloan Invasion. The first order of business would be to eliminate the rebels, and so they would systematically start eliminating rebel outposts, starting with this small town.

Soon, a group of cargo airships had landed, unloading a group of tanks and Howitzers, as well as troops and materials needed to set up a base and an airstrip. All of these things would be absolutely necessary in destroying the rebels. Soon the Howitzers had been set up in positions that would allow them to easily bombard the town. Multiple trenches had been dug, and the entire camp had been rigged with mines and barbed wire.
The next group of cargo airships brought more materials, APCs, tanks, and some recon. jeeps, which were sent out to scour the countryside for rebels to capture and interrogate.

On the third day, once all the defenses had been properly set up, a group of scouts noted a distress flare had been fired. Quickly it was reported to the head of the military camp, and a group of APCs with a single tank were rolling towards the spot where the flare had been fired.

"Hey, who do you think fired the flare?" One soldier asked. The captain of the mission eyed him up and down. Not a new soldier, but no experienced veteran either.
"It doesn't matter. One side had to attack the other in order for a flare to go up." He said, chuckling to himself about the odd questions some people would ask.
"Unless it's a trap." A grizzled veteran in the corner spoke up, glaring at the captain, who had quickly stopped chuckling. The APC came to a stop, and the soldiers began to pile out, all on alert in case of enemy forces.

ooc:The location of the town is not near a coastline.The nearest coastline is south of the town.But military bases are dotted around the countryside.
Also somemore information regarding the rebels.The Rebels don't have outposts per say.The town is the only rebel outpost and their primary goal is to hold the position till the Main Army the Rebels represent break through the land locked battlefield to the east.So all in all,Feel free to join in.(although my Government will initially try and reason with your nation)

IC:
General Barakov and his group quickly made his way through the countryside to what looked like a farmhouse.
"Inside men"He barked to them.
The taskforce broke down the door and burst in to find the corpses of a male and female.Both shot dead.
"Damn Rebels."Yuri spat.
"Get these bodies outside"Barakov yelled.
After the bodies were cleared,The men sorted themselves out and fortified their positions.
One young lad,Ishlav his name was,yelled to the General to see something on the binoculars.
What he saw through them made his mouth dry.
Tanks,APCs,troops and all manner of machines were organized on the fields in the distance.
"Cyort"Barakov whispered."Ishkov get on the radio to Fort Yubarin,We're gonna need more men..."

"Captain, we've got company" Gash reported over the radio as he watched teh destress flare.
John swore and went to find the nearest rebel fighter to sound the alarm

Igor had seen the flare.
"Their coming.No doubt about that now.I want all soldiers on red alert.I want people watching the surronding area.All 360 degrees and get some sandbags to entrench the position.I suspect we outnumber the Communist forces but they are better trained.This should be intresting."Igor smirked.

The rebel troops quickly got into position and started watching the surronding area.watching the horizon for anything that would seem amiss.
The laughter and chatter had died away.Only deathly silence remained.

Gash was on one of the buildings, behind the new sandbags that had been provided. He was scanning the area for any movement.
Muppit had found some Claymores and was planting them outside the base at chokepoints. He made sure that everyone knew they were there.
John and Harry were with two Rebels and were in a defensivve postion

"General Barakov this is Castle, we have received your report of armed foreigners nearby to the town occupied by the Capitalist rebels.Four Mil Mi-24D Helicopters are en-route and should land soon.We have tracked your co-ordinates and the Second and Fifth Shock regiment will be there within a couple of days.Castle Over and out."
"Alright lads i just got off the radio from command.we're in luck,we've got Four squads heading our way with the promise of A couple of regiments being sent out soon.

Above the town of Arditski
The Four Mil Mi-24D Helicopters received their orders and all turned around.They had orders to drop their squads near Kryapt then attack the town as much as they can before they retreat.Simple.

Kryapt

The Commander had managed to pull a megaphone out of nowhere and had begun to direct the troops to take cover in various positions.The Tanks made their way to the side of town directly facing where the flare had gone off.They were going to give their lives for this town.

General Marcus's C-5 hit the tarmac first as the first wave of forces began to arrive in Bellum Addo. He pulled out his Interactive Communication Assistant Device. This device gave him a secure uplink to the Orbital Observation Satellite Network, and feed him information being sent by the Soviet Headquarters in Nova Yavin. "General rebel movement has been spotted around the country side and the routes in the area. Exact location are unknown but it seems the rebels are moving into a guerrilla campaign."

"Understood. I have a few surprises for them if they wish to play that game", General Marcus out.

When the C-5s and C-130s had finished unloading the C-5s and many of the C-130s left for a more secure location in Bellum Addo to avoid being compromised.

General Marcus walked up to the Commanding officer of the installation and introduced himself, "General John Marcus of the United Socialist States of Nova Yavin, reporting", he said with a crisply. he had much to discuss before any NY Forces were deployed to the battlefield.

General Yiditski The CO of Fort Yubarin looked to General Marcus.
"Ah i have been awaiting you."Yiditski reported "The Rebels have entrenched themselves in the city of Kryapt.A small town not to far from a small military depot base.Reports have come in that several tanks were stolen in the early hours of the morning."

The Farmhouse,Near Kryapt

The four helicopters bumped down on the newly burnt crop field and the 4 sqads of 10 jumped out.
Captain Short and Captain Ellotski made their way to General Barakov.
"General Barakov sir.Four squads of Special Operatives reporting for duty."Captain Short commentated.
"Excellant.Perhaps we can finally do something about those Rebel Scouts."Barakov grinned.

"I am sorry to hear this news. If you are tracking them my C-130 specter gunships can eliminate the threats before they can hid them.

"Also, what are the conditions of you frontline units. We are prepped to run convoy's at your convince. Though, I feel I should inform you that our sat network has already picked up rebel guerrilla's moving along the routes heading from here to the town.


OOC - Can you give me some understanding of the terrian. Cause I don't want to be shooting into forest if we are on tundra or the desert.

OOC:The Terrain is mostly Flat Farmland with the odd hill,ridge and sparse amounts of forest.Several dirt tracks are also there.

"We were tracking the tanks but it seems they have some sort of technical genius in their midst.They somehow disabled it.No matter though.Initial reports state it as the only Attack Vehicles they have so it won't be hard to miss.On the matter of my frontline troops,Most of the Military divisions are due east of the town currently staging an en-masse war on the breakaway state Bellum Adobe.These Rebels were sent by the breakaways state government.I have no idea why though.5 Units of Special Operative units are currently hiding out near the Town.But they are outnumbered heavily.Two 1000 strong divisions will be there within two days and then we will have a better chance in defeating them." Yiditski drawled.

The soldiers sent to investigate the flare were studying the scene. Multiple rebel soldiers lay dead, the last of which had a gruesome smile on his face.
"So. It's obvious that the Government is retaining quite a presence here. We'll go along with them until they decide to attack us. Otherwise, we're here to take over the country, and so we kill anyone who gets in our way. Now we need to leave, the Howitzers are going to start taking shots at the town soon and I have no intention of being near the town when it happens. So, everyone back in the APCs, we've got to go." The Captain nodding and turned to walk into his respective APC. The government was obviously be a nuisance, a thorn in the side of their army that would have to be removed with care. Oh well, that's how they all were.

True to their word, the Howitzers began firing at the town a short time after the APCs and tanks left in hopes of catching any rebel scouts unaware. However, they had no idea what the effect was, as they had no idea what kind of troops and armor the rebels had, with the exception of the stolen tanks that had been targeted by one or two of the guns.

The shots began raining down upon the already half levelled town.
Several Men stumbled from the rubble clutching dismembered arms and legs.
Igor Swore."It seems we have an unforseen foe in our midst.We will have to bunker down and wait it out."
"Yes Mr Igor."The Commander nodded.
The remaining troops picked up the ammo from their dead comrades and moved to safer ground.

The Farmhouse-Outside of Kryapt
"Cyort!It looks as if fate has smiled upon us."Barakov smiled."They can't take many shots from those things!"
"Are they ours?"Captain Short queried.
"Who cares,as long as their pumelling the enemy i don't care."Barakov laughed.

Fort Yubarin

The shells from the attack could be heard even as far away as Fort Yubarin.
Within minutes General Yiditski was on the phone to his artillery teams.They established that they were not near the town.Odd.Then he rembered.The military presence which had been reported near the town.They must be doing this.

"Very well. I will send three of my gunships to patrol the countryside and look for these attack vehicles. Any vehicle is an advantage, and we do not want to afford them any. Also until the Soviet Air Force units arrive tonight the C-130s will remain on rotational ground support. If you let us know your units frequencies, my planes will provide support your units on the ground, and any targets of interest in the town." The General thought to himself, I am not going to allow this conflict to be lost, he was prepared to use the most brutal tactics available to defeat his enemy.

"Also, General, would it be to much to ask for briefs on the leaders of the rebel movement along with anyone else involved in this conflict?"

Fort Yubarin
Yiditski quickly noted down the frequencies for the squads positioned and handed it to General Marcus.
"Now about the Leadership of the Rebellion.The group assembled in Kryapt are led by a man named Igor Spasitski.He is one of the important people involved with both the rebellion and the Bellum Adobeian Democratic Party.The forces are being supplied by the Bellum Adobeian government as well."General Yiditski commented.

[OoC; I have no intention of retaining a presence here. So pretty much I'm going to take out the rebels, or try to, and then either be pushed back by the rebels or the government to my beach, where I can have an epic last stand.]

The Howitzers began to let up, with designs for an incursion by infantry and tanks into the weakened town now being planned. It was time the Heirosoloan force began to move south towards the ocean so a naval fort could be created, allowing supplies and troops dropped off by cargo boats to easily access the rest of the country via the skies.

A final cargo zeppelin landed on the makeshift airstrip, unloading a group of SAM turrets, more for the inevitable war on the government rather than destroying the pestilence of rebels. As soon as it landed it was refueled, loaded with bombs, and sent off. As soon as it passed over the town a combination of smoke bombs and low explosion bombs dropped, creating enough chaos for a group of infantry to easily slip in.

A group of APCs and tanks began to move in from three sides of the chaotic town and stopped. All men, with the exception of the soldiers manning the turrets got out and silently entered the smoky town. Another wave of smoke and low explosion bombs were dropped, ensuring a lasting cover for the troops. As soon as the soldier were in position the tanks each fired multiple shots from the main cannon into the town, before following the soldiers in to clean up any remaining rebels.

Kryapt.

Igor held his Tokarev close to his chest.He could hear the troops moving outside.
"Not now.Do not reveal your position."
The Commander peeked through a narrow slit in a basement.
The Commander gave a brief whistle.This was the signal.The rebels burst out of the several buildings they were hidden in.Some had affixed knives to their rifles and swung at the soldiers faces while others fired from afar.Some soldiers had even manged to obtain satchel charges and while the others distracted the guards,the soldiers sneaked up to the tank with the intention of planting them on the tank.
This was to be their last stand.

[OoC; You realize that multiple smoke and low explosion bombs have been dropped, as well as the tanks firing into the town. Your soldiers, who are supposedly not very well trained, are remarkably resistant to these things.]

The soldiers, each equipped with IR headsets, quickly began firing at any fools who tried to get close enough to them to kill them with bayonet styled weaponry. After the first tank was blown up by satchels the rest were heavily guarded, and anyone who tried to sneak up on a tank was quickly shot at, deterring most people.
The buildings that the rebels had come from were fired at by the tanks, doing severe damage to the artillery-weakened walls. The remaining rebels who hadn't been killed in the initial charge were now locked in a firefight with the soldiers, who peppered their positions with sub-machine guns and carbines. Occasionally a tank would fire at them, then return to demolishing the buildings.
A final drop of low explosion bombs fell, this time into the center of the town, the zeppelin not wanting to drop further outside, in case it killed any soldiers.

OOC:The Rebels had retreated to the cellars of the buildings in the city to escape the shelling and only revealed themselves when the enemy came near.

The Soldiers could see they were losing and the last bomb had taken its toll on the forces.The Commander ordered a retreat to the Mayoral Hall.Several machine gun nests had been established in the many windows of the hall and the haphazard repair job had done something to increase the defense.Within Moments the Forces were inside and already boarding up the door from the inside.
The Commander felt it necessary to deliver a rousing speech.
"Comrades!We may be facing death.But we will die with honour.We died for our nation.Our deaths shall not be in vain."

Upstairs in the office, Igor had obtained a radio transmitter from one of the corpses of rebel troops inside.
"Devil?This is Eagle.We have heavy trouble.Need air assistance ASAP.co-ordinates as before.We are in the Mayoral hall.The enemy is outside."Igor shouted into the radio.
"Affirmative Eagle.We will be sending Three F-4 Phantom II to assist.They will be there within two hours.Devil Out.
"Two Hours?"Igor roared.
He peeked out the window before ducking into cover.It was going to be a long night.

As soon as the rebels boarded themselves up in the Hall the soldiers simply packed up and trudged back into their APCs, from where they drove back to the Heirosoloan camp. As the smoke cleared, all that was left were the remaining tanks, and the hall. The tanks main cannons began to fire at the windows, and after a UAV flew over, the Howitzers also began slamming the roof of the building. There was no longer any need for infantry, because the rebels had already lost the battle. Soon enough either the building would crumble, killing the rebels, or the rebels would be forced to come out, where they would be killed by artillery and the tanks.

"You stupid fool!Why did you order them to retreat?We look weak infront of our enemies!Now we die dishonerably!"Igor shouted at the Commander.
"You would rather have our troops die at the hands of them?"The Commander replied"Who are you to question my orders?"
"Who am i to question...I am a goverment official,you are nothing but a hurriedly promoted soldier."Igor spat."Now get back to work."

Just outside of Bellum Adobe borders
The Fighter Jets were nearing their targeted position.They had been called out to attack some army from god knows where attacking some of their Rebel troops stationed there.Whatever the matter they were going to clear the city out.

Outside of the Farmhouse.
"General Barakov,We must move if we are to capture the rebel leader,it looks as if the rebels will not hold out long"Captain Short said.
"Hmm Ok,Gather the squad,we're going to go over there and see who has been helping us with this problem."

As the fighter jets neared, the radar station at the Heirosoloan camp picked them up.
"Take them out with the SAM batteries. Should be fast." Soon multiple anti-aircraft missiles were launched, as well as a couple air superiority fighters sent out to chase away the fighter jets.

The theater of combat limited itself to all aircraft expect for strategic bombers, so two squadrons of F-22s, four squadrons of F-35s and a squadron of A-10s and MQ-9 Reapers. Though not the Nova Yavin's preferred tech it was what they had been left with in the huge boneyards left by a military of an Imperial the size of 15 billion people. More aircraft would follow but by seeing the progress that had been made the 40,000 troops with the aircraft currently in country would suffice to put down the rebels, maybe even enough to help in an offensive against the capitalist in Bellum Abode, in a counter-strike.

General Marcus stood on the flight-line and watched the incoming fighter aircraft and their support units. Already the Reapers were taxiing on the runway. The Specters just landed so the local ground forces would be without Nova Yavin air support for thirty-minutes until the Reapers got on station and and established a rotation. Also one of those Reapers would be checking out Heirosoloa based along the coast.

The Fighter Jets had not expected the countries Jet aircraft to fight back so quickly and only managed to fire one load of bombs before having to retreat back into Bellum Adobeian territory.

Kryapt
Igor had had enough.He could see what the Commander had been talking about.This was a fruitless and futile effort.He had failed his masters.
Igor sent one last Radio transmission to Wasya,The Capital of Bellum Addo.
"It is over Sir.We have been beaten,We have less than 100 men left.We are surronded.I am sorry President McGorwich."The Radio fell silent.

Meanwhile outside in the streets, General Barakov and his team neared the location of the Mayoral Hall.But he could see that it was being shelled heavily.
A potshot by a sniper forced them all into cover.
"Cyort.We need to get in there to arrest Spasitski."Barakov growled.
"Who the hell are those people anyway?"Questioned Captain Short.
"I don't know,but if they don't state who they are, and what their business is.We will have to take drastic measures."

The single load of bombs fell, doing little damage to the tanks, who continued to hammer the windows, which by now should have long since collapsed.
After a while the tanks stopped firing, and were replaced by another wave of tanks. The Howitzers also stopped firing, deeming it useless to fire shells at an indestructible building.

The captain of the mission, surveying the tanks firing at the building, noticed the group of loyalists hiding behind a building. He radioed it in, and waiting before an APC full of troops arrived before jumping on a tank.

"All of you there, please put your hands up and drop your weapons. We want to know who you are, and what you're doing in the waste of a town."

Barakov swore and looked at Captain Short.
"Only one thing we can do."Barakov Grimaced.
The Special ops dropped their weapons behind them and stood up.They all put their hands up.
"So much for sneak attack,Igors going to get away."Short Sighed.
"Don't worry.He won't be able to escape,look at the state of the building.It may be a massive town hall.But it won't last long.

Inside the town hall
They had heard the Howitzers stop fireing,Now only the tanks remained.
One lacklustre soldier hurriedly picked up an RPG and fired at the tank.

Igor however was in the basement.Lamenting his loss.He needed to get out of here.Leave the soldiers to die.He looked out the small rectangular window.He could see a farmhouse in the distance.Four helicopters stood in the grassland.
"Excellant,Now i just need to reach there."Igor whispered.

[OoC; Ohh. I thought your windows had ben boarded up. In that case, I've been firing inside the hall for a while now with my tanks. Your men should be decimated. And how are there four random helicopters there? You realize they'll be shot down by SAM batteries as well, right?]

The RPG flew and destroyed one of the tanks, but a response of machine gun fire from the tanks would cut down anyone else still at the windows. A renewed wave of Howitzer fire, complemented with more tank fire, was slowly destroying the building.

The Captain of the mission, with his troop of soldiers, was staring down the loyalists.
"Step away from the building, and tell us what you're doing here. I've already asked once, I won't ask again."
The time he took his pistol and fired a shot into the air. On TV it worked, so why not.

OOC:If you look back a few posts,they are the helicopters the Governments special forces landed in.That is what Igor is looking for.Also ill add in the deaths of my troops now.(Even though that was not a window,It was the shelled out remains of a window)

Barakov was not phased by the shot.
"We were sent here to get into that building"He pointed to the City Hall "And capture a dangerous criminal who orchestrated this rebellion.We're from the Bellum Addo Government.Now if i may ask,Who are you?.."

Inside the city hall

The dead rebels littered the Town hall.Only 15 soldiers remained and most of them were injured.The Commanders gave the orders to retreat down to the lower levels of the Town Hall,Into the basement.They had failed.But they weren't all dead...

The captain sighed. He had figured they wouldn't ask that question until a little later. Obviously they were loyalists, and obviously they were trying to get inside. They had told him nothing of interest. So, now it was his turn.
"Who we are is none of your business, what we are is an army. Why we are here, is to get rid of these rebels," It wouldn't hurt to tell them only a part of the truth, "and so we need to kill them all. Even this criminal of yours. For sparing his life, what will we get?" He asked, smiling. He was going to add some more, but that didn't matter.

Barakov looked at this Captain.
"What will you get?"Barakov laughed at this.
"Ill tell you what.You march east of here.You beat back that whole army from where the Rebels came from.You kill everyone of those Capitalist scum and ill tell you what.Ill give you the whole damn region they took over."Barakov added jokingly."and anyway, if we dont capture this Spasitski fella and just let him die,Then My Government won't be able to get information out of this guy.Which will lead to further attacks against Bellum Addo,And possibly because of your involvment in this, your nation.This nation poses itself as a friendly Capitalistic country.But the rebels you see today are the ones trying to spread their evil ways among all countries.Why do you think we have been battling then for decades?"General Barakov said.

"You still haven't answered my question. What will we get if we keep this man alive, and give him to your government? We know that if we kill him, your government won't get information from him and then they'll somehow manage to attack our country, which has not at all been disclosed, and attack your country, which we don't care about. That doesn't seem like much of a problem to us." He chuckled at the man's futile threats. "And if we kill all the rebels, we get their region, which you'll just try to take from us as soon as we move in. Well, does this man not count as a rebel? We'll kill your rebels and take that region and kill anyone who tries to take it from us. And you can just be glad we didn't kill you right now."

And with that, he turned to his troops.

"Knock down the door, and kill everyone inside, except the man they've specified. Then we'll decide what we'll get for giving them their man. And if we don't agree with their terms, we'll just kill him." And with that, the soldiers began marching. The captain only signaled for them to stop when they had to wait for a tank to obliterate the door. As the marched in, they began checking the rooms, until it became obvious all the rebels were in the basement. After a smoke grenade and multiple fragmentation grenades had been thrown in, the soldiers slid inside, prepared to take whatever the rebel scum could throw at them.
