Osean Naval Industries is a state run company that was created from the recently nationalised Osean Naval yards and a number of smaller ship building companies to improve the efficiency of the Osean ship building industry. So far, it has managed to produce a variety of designs which have been accepted by the Osean Navy.

You will need to check your defense budget, which can be found at NSDossier (http://nsdossier.texasregion.net/) or NSEconomy (http://nseconomy.thirdgeek.com/). If you do not have enough money to pay, I will be willing to work something out with you.

OOC: I am willing to accept any advice given. If you are going to criticise my designs, advice on how to improve them will be usefull but just saying they are crap is not. None of the images included were created by me. I will try to provide images for the designs that dont have any if I can. I intend to slowly add more designs at a later point. I'm accepting orders now if anyone want to purchase anything.

OOC - the Ustinov currently requires far too many crew. It's not much bigger than a Ticonderoga, which only has 327 crew & 33 officers.
Also, where are the anti-sub decoys? They're cheap, relatively useful, and easy to add...

As we have recently formed our Coast Guard we would like to place an order of various vessels of Osean Naval design.
We have analized the designs offered and are looking to buy next vessels.

Current list of order is:

20x Karelia Class Electronic Surveillance Ship's

50x Ryavnyy Class Corvettes50

In total expense would be aproximetly:

10 845 000 000 $

First we must note that the cost of your order is $10.8 Billion USD for the 20 Karelia Class Electronic Surveillance Ships and $22.5 Billion USD for the 50 Ryavnyy Class Corvettes according to our calculators, giving a total cost, taking away 10 percent due to your membership of the CIS, of $30 Billion USD. P-960 Anti-Ship Missile

The P-960 is designed to be the Osean Navy's equivilent to the Boeing Harpoon. It is a reletively cheap and versatile weapon, capable of being deployed from ships, submarines, aircraft and even land-based launchers. When fired, the missile cruises at about mach 1+ untill it's terminal phase where it quickly boosts to mach 2.5 before hitting it's target. The fuse of the P-960 can be set to explode on contact or after the missile has penetrated the hull of the ship. Also, despite it's name, the sensors of the missile mean that it can be used against land targets. The P-960 uses a 220 kg high explosive warhead. It has also has had a cluster warhead, containing 8 BLU-97/B combined effects sub-munitions created for it to improve it's capabilities when used against ground targets.

Type 1 Vertical Launch system

Recently, the Imperial Osean Navy decided to replace their modified Mk 41 VLS with a native VLS design. After a while, Osean Naval Industries produced the Type 1 Vertical Launch system. While capable of firing the all the missiles that the Mk 41 could, it was designed to be capable of firing the most modern, high performance missiles in service today and is capable of firing all missiles that are 9 metres or less in length (any larger and they won't fit in the launcher cells).

Type 4 Electronic Warfare Suite

The Type 4 Electronic Warfare Suite is something that was only recently developed, thanks to analysis of the recent experiances of the Imperial Osean Navy. One of the points decided on was the need to develop proper electronic warfare eqiupment after observing the effective use of it by the Osean Navy's opponents. The Type 4 Electronic Warfare Suite is designed to be capable of accuratly detecting enemy Radar and jamming it along with enemy communications. It also links the defence and radar systems of Osean warships together so they can better defend each other from attack. Presently, all Osean ship designs have been refitted to have one of these fitted to them as standard.

P-970 Anti-Ship Missile

The P-970 is the latest anti-ship missile to be produced by Osean Naval Industries. While it's range is not particulary impressive for it's size, the missile makes this up by having an incredibly high maximum speed of Mach 4.5. When fired, the missile cruises at mach 2 untill it's terminal phase where it quickly boosts to it's maximum speed before hitting it's target.

It is capable of being launched from ships and submarines from both vertical cell launchers and a quadruple launcher designed for the missile. The missile can also be fired from ground launchers, both mobile and stationary, to give it increased versitility and allow it to be used for coastal defence. The fuse of the P-970 can be set to explode on contact or after the missile has penetrated the hull of the ship. Also, despite it's name, the sensors of the missile mean that it can be used against land targets.

For guidance, the missile uses active radars and passive radiation homing systems. This is also combined with the ability to recieve information from GLONASS satallites and mid-course corrections can be sent to the missile from the ship. Using this, the ship that launched the missile can be used to guide the missile to it's target, using their own radar.

In addition to this, when the missile is launched in groups of four or more, one of the missiles climbs to a higher altitude, to make it harder to intercept, and designates targets while the others attack. The missiles are linked by data connections, forming a network between the missiles. Using this system, only the missile that is guiding the others in needs to keep its active radar system on while the other missiles will keep their active radar systems off. They instead use the data they are recieving from the guiding missile, untill the terminal phase of their flight, making them more resistant to countermeasure system.

The missiles are able to differentiate targets, detect groups and prioritize targets automatically using information gathered during flight and types of ships and battle formations pre-programmed in an onboard computer. They will attack targets in order of priority, highest to lowest: after destroying the first target, remaining missiles will attack the next prioritized target.

Type-100 Cruise Missile

This missile was designed to replace the current types of cruise missiles in service in the Osean navy. While slower than the P-970 anti-ship missile, it has a far larger range so that it can be used as a long range weapon. Like the P-970, it is capable of being launched from ships and submarines from vertical cell launchers. The missile can also be fired from ground launchers, both mobile and stationary, to give it increased versitility and allow it to be used for coastal defence.

For guidance, the missile uses active radars and passive radiation homing systems. This is also combined with the ability to recieve information from GLONASS satallites and mid-course corrections can be sent to the missile, both from the ship and from AWACS aircraft. Using this, both the ship that launched the missile and AWAC aircraft can be used to guide the missile to it's target, using their own radar.

As noted before, the Type-100 can also recieve data from AWAC aircraft, which means they can also be used for the same role.

Type 2 Vertical Launch system

With the introduction of new missile designs, a new VLS was needed by the Osean navy. Soon the Type-2 Vertical Launch System was introduced. The design comes in 10 cell modules and can be scaled up to 120 cells for a single launch system. It is a modular design, with differently sized 10 cell modules for a wide variety of missiles. As long as the missile is not more than 11 metres in length, it's likely that the Type 2 VLS can take it. The cells of the system are slanted forward by a 45 degree angle so they can fit better inside ships.

Red Star Class Battleship

Due to the recent exports by Osean Naval Industries(ONI), combined with recent changes in Osean naval designs, the Osean navy soon required a new battleship design. What ONI came up with was the Red Star Class Battleship.

The Red Star Class does not have thicker armour than other Osean battleship designs. This is because, rather than relying heavily on armour, which is still very thick, the design makes heavy use of point defence weapons, combined with jamming, decoys and VLS launched SAMs to make it next to impossible for enemies to hit the ship, except through use of large amounts of large, high end anti ship weapons. These are usually very expensive and make taking out a Red Star a very costly affair.

As for it's armament, it has a large battery of long range cruise missiles to engage enemy ships from extreme distances. It also has shorter ranged missiles to engage targets that are at close ranges and deal with large numbers of small combat ships. It also has a gun armament of 12 18.6 inch electro-thermal guns mounted in 4 triple turrets.

Two are fitted forward and two are fighted to the aft section of the ship. It also has 20 5.5 inch dual purpose electro-thermal guns mounted in 10 dual turrets, giving it a heavy punch in gun combat.

The vessal also is capable of holding a complement of aircraft of about 10 helicopters or VTOL aircraft and 8 UAVs. Normally, the vessal is given 6 VTOL fighters to give it some air cover and 4 helicopters. The 8 UAVs are usually reconnaissance models, used to spot targets for the ship.

Tula Class Ballistic Missile Submarine

While the Alpha Class Ballistic Missile Submarine has proven itself to be an able design, its increasing age combined with reliability issues with it's Bulava SLBMs means the design needed to be replaced with something new. The Tula Class uses the R-29RMU Sineva SLBMs, which is more reliable than the Bulava and carries 10 warheads, without requiring the modifications that the Bulava needs to do so.

The submarine has five seperate hull layers, consisting of one outer light hull and four pressure hulls, which are made out of Titanium, which stronger and lighter than steel. This allows the submarine to dive to 1,100 metres. The outer light hull is coated with RAM to increase the steath qualities of the submarine.

Kurlov Class Destroyer

The Kurlov class is the most modern type of destroyer in Osean service. This class of destroyer is remarkable for its heavy tonnage compared to other types of destroyers, matching that of some types of cruisers.

The benefits of this is that it is very heavily armed compared to many other destroyer classes, with two dual turrets for 5.5 inch dual purpose electro-thermal guns, one placed forward and one placed aft of the ship. It also has a very heavy missile armament, giving it an advantage in combat.

This is complemented with countermeasure systems and point defence weapons to make sure that it can handle a wide variety of threats ranging from large numbers of small fast boats to other destroyers. It also has a complement of helicopters and inflatable boats to help it in fufilling the regular duties that a destroyer can be expected to undertake.

Omsk Class Cargo Submarine

As the Tula Class Submarines were entering production, Osean designers found themselves wondering if, with modifications, the design could be put to other uses than originally intended. What they came up with was the Omsk Class Cargo Submarine. Due to the submarine's stealth qualities, it is a remarkable safe way to transport important cargo. After the removal of the Vertical Launch system and SLBMs from the design to make cargo space, it was found that the design could carry 14,000 tons of cargo.

Neukrotimyy II Class Destroyer

While the Kurlov Class Destroyer was already entering production and was a good design, Osean naval designers noted that it would take time to produce the quantities of the design required and that it would be inefficient for Kurlovs to be deployed in certain area when a smaller design would be capable of doing the tasks required of it just as well. So, by modifying the Neukrotimyy class, which was already in service, ONI was able to create a cheaper alternative for the Osean navy.

Typhoon Class Attack Submarine
Picture here (http://i376.photobucket.com/albums/oo201/Osea767/Scinfaxi.jpg)

As the Tula was introduced, the navy also needed a design with many of the qualities of the Tula, but for the role of attack submarine. Soon the Typhoon class was produced and approved for production. The design takes a lot of design ideas and technology from the Tula, meaning that it shares similar performance qualities and makes it easier to produce.

It's armament consists of 8 21 inch and 4 26.5 inch torpedo tubes. It also has 22 10 cell Type 2 Vertical Launch systems, capable of launching a wide variety of missiles, including cruise and anti-ship missiles. Finally, it has 6 ballistic missile tubes, each capable of holding 4 Cormorant UAVs. This means that the Typhoon can hold a drone complement of up to 24 UAVs. The drones can be controlled in either groups of 4 by a single operator in the submarine or individually. Once they have completed their mission, they can be recovered by unmanned undersea vehicles also launched from the submarine.

Like the Tula class which the is based off, it has five seperate hull layers, consisting of one outer light hull and four pressure hulls, which are made out of Titanium, which stronger and lighter than steel. This allows the submarine to dive to 1,100 metres. The outer light hull is coated with RAM to increase the steath qualities of the submarine.

Type-200 "Meteorite" Cruise Missile
Picture here (http://i376.photobucket.com/albums/oo201/Osea767/55223vq4.jpg)

The Type-200 "Meteorite" Cruise Missile is presently the most modern and advanced cruise missile designed by Osean manufacturers to date. The missile cruises at mach 3, and quickly accelerates up to mach 6.4 during it's terminal phase. It is capable of being launched from ships and submarines from vertical launch systems. It can also be fired from ground launchers, both mobile and stationary, and large stratigic bombers to give it increased versitility and allow it to be used for coastal defence. The wings of the Meteorite are folded when not in use and unfold as the missile is launched.

The Meteorite is normally fitted with a 750 kg high explosive warhead. However, it can use a variety of different warheads, including cluster, a chemical/aerosoled biological weapon disperser and even nuclear warheads. The nuclear warhead can either be a dial-a-yield type with a range of 0.2 kt to 150 kt or a 500 kt warhead. It has a number of different fuses setttings, such as armour-piercing for the high explosive warhead and an airburst setting for the nuclear warhead. This means that the Meteorite is a versatile weapon, capable of being used for a wide spread of purposes.

The engine of the Meteorite is a air-breathing dual combustion ramjet, which uses a liquid hydrocarbon fuel. This is combined with a solid rocket fuel booster for getting to the speeds required for the ramjet to work properly. The dual combustion ramjet is a complex design with two different air inlet systems, one for a ramjet and one for a scramjet. This means that the Meteorite's engine can operate as a conventional ramjet for supersonic speeds, or as a scramjet for hypersonic speeds.

It has two settings for it's flight altitute, Cruise and Sea Skimming. In Cruise mode, the Meteorite goes to an altitude of about 25 km for it's flight and dives on its target. When set in Sea Skimming mode, the missile stays at about 10-20 m and is meant for use when targets are too close for the Cruise setting. When close, it can be sent to boost itself to its maximum speed right as it moves from its rocket fuel booster instead of when it reaches it's terminal phase. A side effect of this mode though is a reduced range, about 1,100km. If fitted with the aerosoled chemical/biological weapon disperser, the Meteorite instead flys over it's target at a low enough speed and altitude while dispersing whatever agent it is carrying.

For guidence, the Meteorite uses an active radar system. This is combined with the ability to send and recieve information, like mid-course corrections. This can be with satallites, such as GLONASS, AWACS planes or ships. It also has an inertial guidence system as a backup for its other guidence systems. In addition to this, when the Meteorite is launched in groups of four or more, one of the missiles climbs to a higher altitude, to make it harder to intercept, and designates targets while the others attack. The missiles are linked by data connections, forming a network.

Also, the Meteorite is capable of performing in-flight maneuvers. This was demonstrated in one test where the missile pulled an S maneuver while flying at supersonic speeds. With this, the Meteorite is capable of evading enemy fire. With the command guidance system, this also means that the Meteorite is capable of being redirected to new targets.

In addition to that, the Meteorite's design gives it a slight reduction in it's radar cross section compared to what a missile the size of the Meteorite would normally have. Also, the systems of the Meteorite are programmed to be capable of recognizing attempts at spoofing it, such as the launch of decoys, and ignoring them. Lastly, the Meteorite has an active radar cancellation system, which works by sampling and analysing incoming enemy radar signals and feeding it back to the hostile emitter about one half of a wavelength out of phase, thus cancelling out the returning radar echo.

Longbow Surface-to-air/Anti-Ballistic Missile

The Longbow Surface-to-air Missile/Anti-Ballistic Missile is a heavy ship based missile meant for use from ships. For it's tasks, the Longbow includes a number of advanced systems, such as the ability to peform in flight manuevers and is capable of reaching speeds slighty in excess of Mach 10. The speed which the missile will fly at can be quickly adjusted based on the type of target it is being used against in order to allow the best use of its maximum possible range of 500 km. The missile is best suited to shooting down ballistic missiles in the role of a endoatmospheric interceptor but is capable of being used against large aircraft. It can be used against fighters and aircraft of similar size although it will encounter difficulties with target maneuverability.

The missile has an advanced sensor suite for the purpose of tracking both missiles with the ability to manuver in flight and aircraft. With its radiation homing system, it can be used to kill AWACS planes at long distances. The Longbow also has a command guidence system, meaning it can be guided to its target through sending it information from friendly radar systems in the area.

The missile can be fitted with either a 750 kg high explosive warhead or a 500 kt nuclear warhead. The high explosive warhead can be set to detonate on contact or for a proximaty detonation which is very useful against large formations of aircraft. The nuclear warhead is meant to detonate when in close proximaty to its target and is meant entirely for use against large formations of aircraft and ballistic missiles.

As enemy planes and missiles will no doubt have systems for countering air-to-air and surface-to-air missiles, the Longbow is programmed to be capable of recognizing attempts at spoofing it, such as the launch of decoys, and ignoring them. To avoid its own detection by enemy radar, the Longbow has an active radar cancellation system, which works by sampling and analysing incoming enemy radar signals and feeding it back to the hostile emitter about one half of a wavelength out of phase, thus cancelling out the returning radar echo.

Type-80B "Corona" Cruise Missile
Picture here (http://i376.photobucket.com/albums/oo201/Osea767/3m25a-1.jpg)

The Type-80B "Corona" Cruise Missile is a new missile meant to complement the larger "Meteorite" Cruise Missile. While the Type-80B has a designation that suggests it is only an upgrade of the existing Type-80, it is really a new design with the designation meant to give the appearence that is is not. When fired, the Type-80B quickly accelerates to a cruising speed of either Mach 3.2 or Mach 6.1 while flying at an altitude of up to 25 km. It is capable of being launched from ships and submarines from vertical launch systems. It can also be fired from ground launchers, both mobile and stationary, and large stratigic bombers to give it increased versitility and allow it to be used for coastal defence. The wings of the Type-80B are folded when not in use and unfold as the missile is launched.

Like other Osean cruise missiles, the Type-80B is capable of being fitted with a wide variety of warheads. It can be fitted with a 450 kg high explosive warhead, 150 kt dial-a-yield nuclear warhead, 450 kg aerosoled chemical/biological weapon disperser, 4 fuel-air explosive submunitions or 22 canisters of BLU-97/B combined effects sub-munitions, 8 per canister. It has a number of different fuse setttings, such as a armour-piercing and bunker-busting setting for the high explosive warhead and an airburst setting for the nuclear warhead.

The engine of the Type-80B is a air-breathing dual combustion ramjet that uses a liquid hydrocarbon fuel. This is combined with a solid rocket fuel booster for getting to the speeds required for the ramjet to work properly. The dual combustion ramjet is a complex design with two different air inlet systems, one for a ramjet and one for a scramjet. This means that the Type-80B's engine can operate as a conventional ramjet for supersonic speeds, or as a scramjet for hypersonic speeds. The Type-80B has a range of 2,500 km when cruising at Mach 3.2 and 1,000 km when cruising at Mach 6.1.

In addition to this, when the Type-80B is launched in groups of four or more, at least one of the missiles will climb to a higher altitude, to make it harder to intercept, and designates targets while the others attack. The missiles are linked by data connections, forming a network.

For guidence, the Type-80B uses a combination of a active radar homing system and a LIDAR system. This system is laser based and provides more detail than radar. It is also not susceptible to the jamming systems used against radar. This is combined with the ability to send and recieve information, like mid-course corrections. This can be with satellites, such as GLONASS, AWACS planes or ships. For Suppression of Enemy Air Defence(SEAD) missions, the Type-80B has a radiation homing system capable of locking onto the radar systems of enemy air defence systems. It also has an inertial guidence system as a backup for its other guidence systems.

The Type-80B is capable of performing in-flight maneuvers. This was demonstrated in one test where the missile pulled an S maneuver while flying at supersonic speeds. With this, the Type-80B is capable of evading enemy fire and makes it harder for the enemy to predict the course of the missile. The Type-80B has the ability to perform complex zigzagging maneuvers having been demonstrated in tests. With the command guidance system, this also means that the Type-80B is capable of being redirected to new targets.

The Type-80B's design, like that of the "Meteorite", gives it a slight reduction in it's radar cross section compared to what a missile the size of the Type-80B would normally have. Also, the systems of the Meteorite are programmed to be capable of recognizing attempts at spoofing it, such as the launch of decoys, and ignoring them. The Type-80B also has an active radar cancellation system, which works by sampling and analysing incoming enemy radar signals and feeding it back to the hostile emitter about one half of a wavelength out of phase, thus cancelling out the returning radar echo and a optronic countermeasure system, meant for jamming infrared guided missiles.

Type-210 "Meteorite-B" Cruise Missile
Picture here (http://i376.photobucket.com/albums/oo201/Osea767/55223vq4.jpg)

The Type-210 "Meteorite-B" Cruise Missile is a recently introduced type of cruise missile, based off the highly advanced Type 200 "Meteorite", with many improvements made to the missile. The missile normally cruises at mach 3.2, and quickly accelerates up to speeds slighty in excess of mach 8 during it's terminal phase. It is capable of being launched from ships and submarines. It can also be fired from ground launchers, both mobile and stationary, and large stratigic bombers to give it increased versitility and allow it to be used for coastal defence. The wings of the Meteorite are folded when not in use and unfold as the missile is launched.

The Meteorite-B is normally fitted with a 2,000 kg high explosive warhead. However, it can use a variety of different warheads, including cluster, a chemical/aerosoled biological weapon disperser and even nuclear warheads. The nuclear warhead can either be a dial-a-yield type with a range of 0.2 kt to 150 kt or higher yield devices, going up to 1 megaton. It has a number of different fuses setttings, such as a armour-piercing and bunker-busting setting for the high explosive warhead and an airburst setting for the nuclear warhead. The Meteorite-B take the role of bunker busting more in mind than the original model and has a tougher head to give the missile better penetration. The missile can be fitted with multiple warheads if needed. Overall, this means that the Meteorite-B is a versatile weapon, capable of being used for a wide spread of purposes.

The engine of the Meteorite-B is the same type as that of the original model, a air-breathing dual combustion ramjet that uses a liquid hydrocarbon fuel. However the version used by the Meteorite-B is an improved version, capable of taking it up to speeds as high as Mach 8.1. The engine is also slightly more fuel efficient, which coupled with the extra fuel carried by the Meteorit-B, gives the missile a longer range than the original version.

It has two settings for it's flight altitute, Cruise and Sea Skimming. In Cruise mode, the Meteorite goes to an altitude of about 32 km for it's flight and dives on its target. When set in Sea Skimming mode, the missile stays at about 10-20 m and is meant for use when targets are too close for the Cruise setting. When close, it can be set to instead cruise at it's maximum speed of Mach 8.1. A side effect of this mode though is a reduced range, about 1,900 km. When fitted with the aerosoled chemical/biological weapon disperser, the Meteorite-B instead flys over it's target at a low enough speed and altitude while dispersing whatever agent it is carrying.

For guidence, the Meteorite-B suplements the active radar system used by the original model with a LIDAR system. This system is laser based and provides more detail than radar. It is also not susceptible to the jamming systems used against radar. This is combined with the ability to send and recieve information, like mid-course corrections. This can be with satellites, such as GLONASS, AWACS planes or ships. For Suppression of Enemy Air Defence(SEAD) missions, the Meteorite-B has a radiation homing system capable of locking onto the radar systems of enemy air defence systems. It also has an inertial guidence system as a backup for its other guidence systems.

In addition to this, when the Meteorite is launched in groups of four or more, at least one of the missiles will climb to a higher altitude, to make it harder to intercept, and designates targets while the others attack. The missiles are linked by data connections, forming a network.

Also, the Meteorite-B is capable of performing in-flight maneuvers, through the use of thrust vectoring. This was demonstrated in one test where the missile pulled an S maneuver while flying at supersonic speeds. With this, the Meteorite is capable of evading enemy fire and makes it harder for the enemy to predict the course of the missile. This had been improved with the Meteorite-B, with the ability to perform complex zigzagging maneuvers having been demonstrated in tests. With the command guidance system, this also means that the Meteorite-B is capable of being redirected to new targets.

In addition to that, the Meteorite's design gives it a slight reduction in it's radar cross section compared to what a missile the size of the Meteorite-B would normally have. Also, the systems of the Meteorite are programmed to be capable of recognizing attempts at spoofing it, such as the launch of decoys, and ignoring them. The Meteorite also has an active radar cancellation system, which works by sampling and analysing incoming enemy radar signals and feeding it back to the hostile emitter about one half of a wavelength out of phase, thus cancelling out the returning radar echo and a optronic countermeasure system, meant for jamming infrared guided missiles.

S-600 Surface-to-Air Missile

The S-600 is an advanced surface-to-air missile, meant to replace the S-400 and S-300 presently in Osean service. The S-600 is a versatile missile, capable of being used from ships and land-based mobile launchers. It can be used at two different speed settings. The first is Mach 4.5, which is for aircraft and missiles that are interceptable at that speed and has the advantage of superior range. The other speed setting, Mach 7, is meant for anything that the Mach 4.5 setting is too slow enough to hit. This setting has the disadvantage of a reduced range, 600 km compared to 1,500 km for the missile when in the Mach 4.5 setting.

The propulsion of the S-600 is one taken from other modern Osean missiles, a dual combustion ramjet. This is combined with a solid rocket fuel booster for getting to the speeds required for the ramjet to work properly. The dual combustion ramjet is a complex design with two different air inlet systems, one for a ramjet and one for a scramjet. This means that the S-600's engine can operate as a conventional ramjet for supersonic speeds, or as a scramjet for hypersonic speeds. With this system, the S-600 is given high capabilities against both aircraft and missiles, including ballistic missiles. It is capable of being used to detect and engage up to 10 ballistic supersonic targets flying at a speed of 5 km/s

The missile has an advanced sensor suite for the purpose of tracking both missiles with the ability to manuver in flight and aircraft. With its radiation homing system, it can be used to kill AWACS planes at long distances. The S-600 also has a command guidence system, meaning it can be guided to its target through sending it information from friendly radar systems in the area. It also has excellent capabilities against low flying and low RCS targets.

As enemy planes and missiles will no doubt have systems for countering air-to-air and SAMs, the S-600 is programmed to be capable of recognizing attempts at spoofing it, such as the launch of decoys, and ignoring them. To avoid its own detection by enemy radar, the S-600 has an active radar cancellation system, which works by sampling and analysing incoming enemy radar signals and feeding it back to the hostile emitter about one half of a wavelength out of phase, thus cancelling out the returning radar echo.

Sukhoi "Sky Eye" reconnaissance UAV

The Sukhoi "Sky Eye" reconnaissance UAV is a new design, created to replace the current UAVs used in that role that are now obsolete. It has a long range and is capable of reaching a maximum altitude of 30 km and a maximum speed of Mach 3.2. This is combined with a electronic suite to give it the best possibility of pentrating enemy airspace.

When recording data using any of the reconnaissance systems it can be fitted with, it can both put the data on storage devices in the UAV and transmit it back to one of a pre-chosen list of locations, using a heavy encription to ensure it is not taken by the enemy. If required, the UAV can be instructed to ram targets, detonating the small charge it has as it impacts the target. The Sky Eye is meant for use from ships, but can be deployed from a ground launcher if required.
