Spaniard Citizenship Requests :
About 400 La Habana Cubans of Spaniard ancestry have mobbed the Spanish embassy in La Habana City Province since thursday seeking Spaniard citizenship.
Under the recently enacted law of Grand Children : It is estimated about 200,000 LH Cubans will qualify. The number could be in the millions if the law is amended to include all Spaniard descendants.
It could lead to a new wave of immigrants in reverse to Spain, La Madre Patria.
Thousands of Hispanic Miami Shorerians of Spaniard descent are seeking the double citizenship cards as well.
At least 500,000 around the world are expected to apply.
