Official Leocardian Response
The Leocardian United Worker's Council shakes their heads on this proposal of annexation. Our intentions are for peace and freedom and do not allow proposals like this take place. In our freest response to the responsible government, we will become hostile and take with force to what is really granted. Good day with your instructions and may your nation rest in peace.

Meanwhile, an ordered fleet was ordered directly toward the Cascade Peninsula to reclaim the rights and liberties for the citizens' habitat.

We do not fear your tiny threats toward our powerful navy. We will prevent annexation from your intentions and provide peace and liberty for those who need it most. We strictly oppose imperialism and we will fight until the bitter end for it. Even if it may head to the direction to our possible territory, please be suggested that our leadership will be much better than yours.

The massive fleet incoming toward the newly invaded land was sighted as a blimp of land from the Patrol Fleet.

"LAND INCOMING!" Shouted the radar and sight man. And soon a rumble of men into their battle stations.

Four carrier groups from a puny nation arriving in the scene... The billboard ticked as World News on the public flat display in the Kika Mana Square showed to the public audience. ... in the aid of Dante Peak. Leocardia gears for massive deployments in the following days.

Four carrier groups, are they nuts? Defensive Minister, John Regan, exclaimed. If they want to start a world war, then so be it, but like this? That's just asking for a death sentence. He turns his cheek to President Justin Morales, who was fiddling with his Rubik's cube. You do know this is a serious case, right? ... RIGHT?

The sudden shout rattled Morales, but he wasn't worried. Right, but don't you think you're overreacting? This is Kika Mana, we're talking about... We operate at 300 million soldiers, that's more than all of those countries combined! What are you worrying about? I'll just make my official deployments.

The radar man receives messages and shoves it up in the face of his commander. "Message from the USDP." The commander takes a look at it and rips it into shreds. He walks up to his telephone that sends the message to the Admiral. "The USDP is threatening to attack us." And he hung up.

The Admiral, receiving the message, wasn't surprised. Such a small nation, thinking he would stand a chance with aid, was about to be diminished. He nodded to his assistants, and commanded his hotkeys to steer toward USDP waters. He went to the overhead communicator and radioed in for all Leocardia seamen.

For the last two years, Leocardia had built and modernized itself into a leading superpower. Today, we are presenting history to the World, how much we have changed in so little time. You will be in the history books and your names will be listed. Battle stations, everyone!

The alarm sounded, and all the sailors and marines went into their battle stations. Defensive initiation programs and softwares flickered on and defensive systems manned and scanned the skies for any defensive threats to the ships. Ready latches sound still for any attack on the ships, and the defensive arrangement of the ships formed the "Ready Curve" in the line.

The Nemitz cut the water smoothly. It was an average day of sailing, winds tossed the waves lightly like pizza maker tosses dough. 17 kph north by northwest, and they carried the smell of the salty sea. F/A-27's, a new stealth coated version of the F/A-18, with the primary weapons moved to the internal bays alongside normal wing mounts, were strapped tight to the deck, catapults rigged up to their gears, ready to go in seconds.

Following the flagship Særa was an armada of ships, cutting the water in a similar fashion to the Nemitz. They neared the proximity of Dante Peakian national waters, they had cruised through the EEZ without a second thought. They now neared the hot zone. Engines feel silent, 5 NM from the national waters. They watched the Leocardians on radar; fire if fired upon.

The activated defensive systems were monitoring in full status and whereabouts that the enemy ships were. Each blimp showed the displacement, size in height and length, and colored in was their threat level to the fleet. All the blimps were shown in green blimps, meaning they were no potential threat to the system. The sophisticated NIGHTHAWK defensive combat system was tested and used during the war with Pythogria before, and it proved to be useful in multipurpose use.

In the Naval Command Room
Several commanders sat in a round table with a projector on the screen. A map of the landing zone and live updating movements of the enemy ships. Satellite imaging trackers zoom down toward potential reinforcements in the fight. The commanders make a grimace and look up at the project as the Admiral of the united fleets stood to the stand to make an announcement.

"The United Worker's Navy is now in prepared for combat zone." He took out his long, pointy stick and tapped the map. "This is the battlezone we are about to land on. The enemy has all available jets in patrol of the island. Intelligence shows that they are currently on DEFCON 2. Our situation in this is DEFCON 3, but let's still keep eyes in this landing." He took a sip from his cup of water from the stand. "The NIGHTHAWK defensive system has taken care of the threat of aerial crafts and missiles headed our way. However, our defensive stance needs to be rearranged."

A commander sitting in the meeting table presses the button to talk. A bright orange light turns on and everyone turns their head toward the commander. "What is wrong with the Ready Curve? It's a proven tactic-" He was interrupted by the Admiral. "The Ready Curve is proven, but it's been so common that even our common enemy knows about it and where we're going to go in the formation. This is why I'm here to present you a new formation."

Another commander sitting in the table presses the button and his light turns on. "Have you tried the other formations and tactics?" Asking with supervision, again the Admiral replied, "No, and I'll let you know why-" He was interrupted. "Then why not we go our separate ways?"

"That is exactly my plan." The Admiral replied. He moved to the next slide on the projector and used his long wand to point to a section of the map. "This is where we will land. Carriers on the out, providing air cover. NIGHTHAWK and AEGIS systems in this zone... and there. We will establish a quick circle and establish a standalone naval base right in front of the beach. Any attack on us, whether may it be air, missile, torpedo will be shot down by our sophistication in defense systems and the enemy ship will be immediately sunk. Anyone disagree?" There was a long pause as the commanders took note. Only scribbles were heard. For another few more minutes, there were no objections, the Admiral exited the room and ordered all units to go under plans.

Back to the Naval Front
The UWN crossed into USDP waters, with in numerological advantage. Lasers and radar systems zoned all over the islands for possible threats, and using the based doctrine of Leocardian Naval Warfare of Deterrence.

"What the hell?" Asked the admiral as he read over the orders from highcom. "This is direct from the Sectary of Defense." His eyes got very big reading the confusing orders. He ambled over to the intership communications. He turned on the interbridge channel. "This is Admiral Asli," he began, "All Far Echo Islander ships are ordered to withdraw to the edge of the Dante Peakian EEZ, immediately. These orders come directly from the Sectary of Defense."

The Far Echo Islander ships had to comply, it would be treason otherwise. Once they arrived at the EEZ, the Sectary of Defense opened a secure video channel with the Admiral and the other high officers on the fleet.

"Hello Task Force Valiant." began the Sectary of Defense.

"Greetings Madame Sectary." Replied the Admiral.

"I'm sure you're curious about your orders." She tossed back a lock of blonde hair. "Well, I issued them because the latest Satellite imagery of the Leocardian ships indicates a strong missile defense system. However, I've already issued separate orders to the Submarine commanders, they are sizing down the nuclear warheads on their Tomahawk missiles, our objective is to use only one single kiloton warhead."

"Excuse me Ms. Sectary, did you say we are going to nuke the Leocardian fleet?" queried one of the Majors in the back of the room.

"Exactly, it's our only choice. Furthermore, how else did we ever expect to take out that Superdreadnaught. Being over 200 NM away should be enough clearance to spare you from the blast of the low yield nuke. Also, note that this is a gold not uranium or plutonium based nuke. The gold radioactive isotopes produced will decay to a safe state within two weeks, not two thousand years, if we had used standard nukes." She stood firm. "We've got all indications that the Leocardians plan to land on the Cascade peninsula, this cannot be allowed. Unless there are major changes within the next few hours, Operation Golden Gun is go."

The Admiral in the control tower squinted his eyes all over the scene. There was no enemy ships close to the fleet. He squinted a little more, but none. "No stealth crafts visible." He mumbled to his assistants, who were reading from statistical printouts by the radar center. "Nope." One of them replied. "No resistance, nothing on track. Not even a blimp near our combat zone." The Admiral shrugged to himself. "They're probably waiting for us to land, I say dock our ships on the beach." He looked down at his computer screen, where stood a three-dimensional geographic terrain, resembling the ones that the Dante Peak coast. "Okay. I want guys here, there, and over there." The ships raced toward the coast, establishing physical momentum with their motors. Guns in the front of the ships scanned the coast for possible enemy backfire. There was none. Hidden snipers from the ship's peek holes looked for any possible head or body that were not in Leocardian uniform. There was none. It was clueless for Leocardian forces why no resistance when they had use invaded another country's territory, but it's a good thing, now that their intentions were to just secure the coast and land more soldiers in the area.

The amphibious ships raced ahead, and hit the coast, unloading hundreds of thousands of soldiers, armed with assault rifles ready to control the landing zone. NIGHTHAWK scanners and trackers zoomed the zone, ready to shoot anything that came at its way. AEGIS systems supported the NIGHTHAWK, providing better anti-submarine and anti-missile capabilities. It was all going to plans. Any disruptions was not possible, or else full massive destruction.

It was no serious deal, since all units wore the ACM System, which proved them technological superior against the enemy. Smiths Smith was promoted as Expeditionary Commander of the Expedition, as well as his picks of the assistant commanders in the trail.

While geared up and holding his gun faced up from his heavily reinforced armored humvee, he talked with his assistant commanders, who were mostly highly-trained considerably-elite soldiers who specialized in USDP's climate... also known as his bodyguards. "Does it get this hot in this shitplace?" He asked his friends, as he began to feel nervous around the terrain. The Leocardian forces in his Expedition were trained to the heart through this terrain and were fully capable for any threats. He, however, was from a different part of Leocardia, and was not used to this climate, but his assistants were. "Yes. This is usual... as commander, I say you should get fitted in this weather while you still can." One of them said. He pointed up, and it was a colored bird. "What does that mean?" Something emitted a high pitched beep, and it looked like everyone had been shot for a moment. The a printer clicked as it received and delivered the critical numerical sequence.

"That's it." Said the Captain. He handed a key to the weapons officer.

The Weapons Officer and the First Mate proceeded to the firing room. The Ordinance Manager was waiting alongside the Navigator. The Weapons Officer inserted the Key and turned it as the First make opened a biometric lock. The ordinance manager passed another biometric lock. The Navigator typed in a code and then coordinates, then unlocked another biometric pass. The Ordinance Manager passed the final biometric scan and used key found behind that lock to open a cover over a bright red button. He muttered a prayer and depressed it.

The Sub shook as the Tomahawk zoomed from it. It then dived as deep as possible and went into stealth mode. It had been so far from the main Far Echo Islander fleet that there was reasonable doubt as to who had fired this thing. In short, if the Leocardians responded with an attack on the Far Echo Islands homeland they would still be seen as the aggressors as no one could really know who fired the nuke.

The missile leaped out of the water like some amazing bird, shedding liters of it as it still pushed out of its outer casing and the first stage broke away. It ignited and headed straight for the superdreadnought.

OOC: I know you're going to shoot it down likely, there's a plan for that ;-)

Leocardian Superdreadnaught
When the missile made its way bullet speed in the air toward the superdreadnaught, the NIGHTHAWK and AEGIS systems immediate tracked the target. Its weapons systems were swift enough to catch the target and immediate fire at it. At the Admiral's eye corner from the control tower, was a sudden blast of ignition, the largest blast he had seen in his naval career that he shook, studdered, and duck under the counters.

"What was that? That fuckin' shithole... What the fuck was that?" He became increasingly curious and his eyes were larger than a bubblegum ball. A red blinking light appeared from his commanding desk. Immediately, a computerized message was brought up to the overcom. Successfully defended from a missile attack. The assistant admirals were curious themselves and looked up at the printed report. "It was a missile. No clue on what it was... but it was a missile." Coming from the West side, the AEGIS system focused their zoom on the particular area where the missile originated.

"Send a helicopter to retrieve and investigate the missile origins."

A report was sent out to Kika Mana, Leocardia.

Kika Mana, Leocardia
Justin Morales sat in a dark, military operations room. "Mr. President, we had just heard word that a missile attack was present in our expeditionary at Dante Peak. Further intelligence states it was directly from the Dante Peak forces." The Defensive Minister said out loud to him. "Our policy is to destroy anything in our way, and their policy seems like that of not to engage with us, until now. We await your orders."

He turned his face to the left, and back at the Minister. "All right. Mobilize another reinforcing fleet. We're sending pigs to USDP."

Official Leocardian Response
We have landed into your shores, and we have assumed your policies of not to engage us. However, attacking us through our naval forces was a very idiotic way to think of us. Did you think you would sink our superdreadnaught in this situation? Prepare to be crushed and destroyed, for the entire United Worker's Army is after the people of Dante Park.

Moments later, another reinforcing fleet had been prepared. 1,200 Longboat Class Battlecrusiers, along with 30 million soldiers prepared for their landing in the most victory-driven war Leocardia and the world has seen.

The single kiloton nuke had been so small that it was able to be encased in a special black box casing able to withstand bullet hits. The missile around it exploded with massive force, but that was not the trigger, the plastic explosive remained neutral. The small rectangle fell from the sky, pieces of the imported missile falling behind it. It made at first a small splash in the water along with the other bits of debris, then, the water filled a small compartment in the container, triggering the complete electric circuit for the trigger. The high explosive went off, causing fission in the gold isotope atoms, and it was like a kiloton of TNT went off a few hundred meters from the super dreadnought. That would be the biggest explosion the admiral would ever see.

In addition, the radiation would likely spread over the whole peninsula, as the detonation had been into the wind.

Th explosion drew a big, ugly hole into the Riceball Class Superdreadnaught, killing 257 in the crew, while closing 2/3 of the total latches from preventing a sinkage. The leverage of the ship was slightly slanted, and the radiation control system was immediately turned on. Radiation teams aboard the ship were immediately mobilized on the ship, focusing inward.

Twenty-six submarines were ordered to the missile origin, which was 200 nautical miles from the fleet, and tracked through satellite surveillance. NIGHTHAWK-operational radar submarines were specifically sent to expand the reach and defensive cloud over the submarine warfare scene.

Atlyia, The Far Echo Islands

35 floors underground, the military brass watched the feed closely. They were amazed by the explosion, the fact that for one of the very few military operations in Far Echo Islander history, everything had gone right. The dreadnought might still be afloat, but that was minor. The peninsula was being evacuated, the rebels would be killed by the radiation, thus surrendering to the Dante Peakians, allowing them control of the Peninsula. With no one to fight for, the Leocardians would have no reason to attack, and the missile was untraceable, at least to the Far Echo Islands, thus everyone was happy, except the Leocardians, who were put off, but maybe not ravenous for blood.

Now it was a waiting game. They'd play dumb and maybe pass the blame. It was time to lie low. They had kicked a giant in the shin with a steel toed boot, it was angry, but the bruise will heal as long as they let it pass its rage.

Nonetheless, the military brass let out a sigh of relief when the nuke exploded, not of anxiety. For two weeks the place would be radioactive, and then things would be fine. This storm would pass.

Their motto as they dispersed: "Talk is treason."

FEIS Shadow Savior

They had moved at a snails pace silently away from the launch site, even more confusing because the missile had exited at an angle from the water. Now, even if they could pin point the launch site, they would be far enough away to have even more ability to deny it. Meanwhile, a Far Echo Islander research vessel moved near the sub; making pleny of sonar static as it moved along. Sure this vessel flew the FEI flag off the stern, but it was completely in international waters, doing legitimate scientific research; the Far Echo Islanders had built quite the façade.

OOC: GWO's comment = lol!! It even in the title! Sad, but funny.

President Justin Morales stepped to the front stands of the Leocardian capitol building of Kika Mana, where hundreds of cameramen stood, as well as a national televised station to address the current situation.

Official Leocardian Response
Our mission is to serve and protect the people of the World. The new image that I have been fighting for is being showcased in the United States of Dante Peak, protecting the sovereignty of the Peninsula, which rightfully belongs to the Cascaedia. The message is solid, and obviously demanding, though these slobs and goons are not receiving our message. The nations of Far Echo Islands and Battlehawk have swore their allegiance for the USDP, and has had some difficulties on our part.

Today, I am here to announce that our men and women fighting for our national image are proud to be there. There are witnessing history that should've been looked at us before. However, Batista had stained it. Our men and women are the true freedom fighters, not terrorists, and we are definitely going to receive respect for it. We will make history getting respect from countries around the world.

Just last night, our Riceball Superdreadnaught had been nuked by an unknown origin. Space trackers have found it was a nuclear warhead launched by a submarine, and intelligence has received information that it was a warhead from the USDP. However, we are not still sure about where the origins of this warhead originated. As much as thought we are putting in, we are trying to avoid a nuclear war from happening. Our military investigators are currently investigating and engaging the enemy as I speak. If anything worst that will happen, the blame should not be within the military, but myself as an individual. Citizens of Leocardia, I ask for you to remain calm. Our military are still the fiercest in the world... even with a nuclear warhead launched at our navy. We still hold world power status.

For the USDP, if you claim that you did not launch the nuclear warhead at our ships and that your policy to not engage us is still in effect, we ask you to contribute all your military actions' logs during the dispute to us for our own review. If your forces did not launch a strike on us, we demand the right to send military investigators into your country and into your military archives to investigate the origins. If you did not commit this strike, we demand information from all your national intelligence. Failing to do so would be an act of aggression and automatic assumption that you have lied and committed the act of nuclear strike on Leocardia.

To other nations of the global community, I am rewarding $100 trillion for any nation to investigate and report the origins of the nuclear strike. As you can probably conclude, we do not know of the origins of the missile and from what country it comes from. Our reward will not only reward you with our monetary prize, but a solid, original EAGLE defense system by Leocardian technologies. May your research and investigations go as planned, we will be waiting for your reports.

The Commonwealth had taken little interest in the squabble over the Cascade Peninsula, such internal matters were no business to the Crown or the Government, and so were of no interest in the Commonwealth. However, so damn fool had thought it a good idea to detonate a nuke in the area and that was of interest to the Commonwealth. Given the the fact that Leocardians were proably rather jumpy given the attack on their fleet and that whoever had fired the missile was likely still in the area, the Government thought it wise to deploy only a single ship. The Bradington was a Province class light cruiser and quite capable of looking after itself while being small enough to not stir too much attention from the other powers in the area. As such her orders were simply to patrol the area and observe the goings on in the area and report back to the Admiralty if she encountered anything out of the ordinary.

The Leocardian Navy had not engaged anyone but had been nuked, and this was the last time ever that the Navy would be attacked. In the most aggressive notion, the Leocardian Navy headed toward the Battlehawk Naval Forces deployed in the area. The superdreadnaught was the flag ship, and they made sure of it to be in the front. Large, obsolete guns were still in the decks, but they were enough to sink every ship of the Battlehawk row. Missile pods were loaded, and Moskits were aimed at every possible target in the enemy navy. This fight will be an easy one as the Leocardian fleet pushes for complete destruction of the navy.

Admiral, in response to sending a peaceful message of passing the Battlehawk navy to get back to Leocardia, they had deployed four hundred F28 jets, and it looks like they are about to hit us if we don't return fire.

The Admiral looked worried. Do we have their deployment on camera?

Yes, Admiral. We have it all filmed.

Good. Engage, they are the aggressors.

The Riceball SD was placed ten miles in front of the fleet, due to radiation-prevention purposes, and knowing that the Riceball is self-dependent.

The ships well into weapons range by the SD's NIGHTHAWK defenses zoned at the 180 targets of the 400 available and fired immediately at them. SAM sites on the ships proved accurate dominance in the air, while the Phanlax CIWS proved the other systems was no match compared to this one. AEGIS systems on board provided a defensive cloud of the next 100 available targets, each integrated on working with each other, the defensive system fired upon at 280 targets out of the available 400.

The Riceball Superdreadnaught's gun had their crosshairs focused on the flagship of the Battlehawk navy. Well in-ranged, the SD fired its guns, each with the sound of a carpet bombing explosion. Heavy-gun metal released steam and black smoke that can be seen from miles. Several hundreds torpedos were released toward the Battlehawk naval vessels simultaneously, catching the enemy ships offguard while they swayed to protect their endangering fighters.

The return fire by the Battlehawk navy surprised the Admiral and commanders. No one expected them to fire, but they expected them to run away in fear. It must probably be because it was only the Riceball Class that were firing at them, and not the entire fleet. To keep the fight on, the Leocardians knew shooting with the Riceball was like picking on a retard.

The Riceball suffered minor damage. The NIGHTHAWK system successfully defended against the attacks, but still leaked and suffered a few blows. The Riceball defended successfully as the watered holes in its hull acted as a protective lag on the torpedos while engaged by the defensive systems.

The other ships in the fleet were too far from the enemy missiles' range, but a few were slightly injured from the shock-impact. In the meantime while accelerating closer to the enemy, the ships were in attack-range.

All Naval Groups, unload payload.

The ships payloads were unloaded onto the enemy. Emptying more than half its stockpiles on them. After firing, the pods were rearmed, and fired again. Over and over, the Leocardian navy flexed its naval muscles. Riceball class guns fired away, with more precision and direct hits on the enemy... prediction to where the ship would go and at the rate of speed determined its directness. Moskits and YJ-82 missiles flew in the skies... It would be perfect fireworks. The Riceball aimed Khans are the most threatening ships: the carriers, and fired 150 of them at the carriers. The results of the battle would be exciting for Leocardia.
