A Royal Visit (ATTN: The Tagorian Mountains, Closed)
Sasha International Airport
Greali Intelligence Agents had spent the previous two weeks patrolling and scanning for any explosive devices. There were hundreds of agents spread over the designated terminal that King of Tagoria and his family was supposed to arrive at. Airport security and GIA agents coordinated and sealed off the terminal from the main airport itself. This was to be a big royal visit, and some Greali were actually looking for Tagorian flags to buy so they can wave at the king, or at least draw his attention. The designated date had finally arrived, GIA agents waited patiently, in the freezing morning. Three hundred civilians that had arrived were waving Tagorian and Greali flags.
OOC: Have your plane land at the terminal.

Had she been back in Tagoria amidst the comforting luxuries of the royal court, Princess Seka would probably have been learning how to wield a sword in the training arena attached to the palace where she lived. Yet, she wasn't wielding a sword or even at the court but was actually sitting on one of the many seats of a luxury jet while looking at an advertisement for a new video game that hit the Tagorian market. She was not an avid video game player like some of her relatives had been but she didn't mind reading about new games to hit the market - especially since they'd probably be a smash hit even among the royal youth as they were to those children not royal by blood. It turned out to be a game based on the cult classic comic series, DragonsBlade, which had entertained many Tagorian teens and some adults since 1999 when the first issue had been released. Seka thought it was a pretty good series but she wasn't one of those fans who would go over the edge whenever they saw anything to do with it.
She could see that her parents were deep in conversation while her younger sister was playing with her only brother in some sort of peek-a-boo mixed with acting all weird. Seka remembered when she did the same with Chani, back when they were the only two children in the Royal Court, back when they were the twin gems of the King who, at the moment, was wondering if he ought to take the Queen with him to the bathroom. Seka didn't know that, though, about the father whose attention she cherished and who she would succeed when he died. As the plane flew in the skies above Greal, King Marek VI of Tagoria was looking at the woman he loved; talking to her about his plans to have Seka learn about the politics of Greal. "It's a good way for her to know how experienced politicians lead a nation. She'll possibly be able to speak with some of them if they'd allow it."
The Queen was decked out in a modest dress that complimented the slender figure that she would spend hour after hour trying to maintain. A woman best known for her bohemian outlook on the world, Queen Mirana was the daughter of a wealthy count who had been well known in aristocratic circles for the parties he held. It was at one such party that she had met Marek VI when he was only just the heir to the throne; it was also at that party that both lost their virginity but teenage sexuality wasn't really discussed in the courts of royalty and their aristocratic buddies unless it caused a scandal that would destroy a centuries old reputation. "I am sure that Seka will learn about politics, my dear, but we musn't sap the fun out of this visit. If we wanted her to just learn about politics in Greal, we might as well have told her to read a factbook back in Tagoria."
As the plane eventually began to descend onto the runway at Sasha International Airport, King Marek VI took the hand of his wife as he led the family out of the plane with a smile upon his face; he was always happy to be with the wife and children that he loved. "Behave, children, and make sure you are courteous to the people of Greal. They took the time to host our visit so give them your full and sincere respect."
Seka nodded unanimously with Chani and the little brother who was dressed in an adorable little outfit that his mother had picked out for him. His mother was a cross between the demure and flirtatious wife and the mother who felt embarassing stories were nothing but loving anecdotes that served as testaments to how much she loved her children. The Royal Family walked down the red carpet and towards the welcoming people of Greal.

Vice President Frank Jackson waited patiently for the plane to land, then when that finally came, with ten GIA agents spreading out to watch the vice president and a dozen more came to watch the Royal visitors. He could hearing cheering behind them. The cheering was from Greali civilians who were trying to get a look at the royal family since a police barricade had prevented them from getting close. He watched the royal family depart from the plane and approach him.
"Your Majesty. I am Vice President Frank Jackson. I represent President Martin Watson here." he said, to the King of Tagoria. Several limos escorted by APCs pulled up behind the Vice president.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, Vice President, and I am glad to finally be here in the lovely nation of Greal. I would like you to meet my beloved family before we head out to our intended destination. This is my wife," The King pointed to the woman standing next to him. "the Queen Consort Mirana is my beloved wife and the mother of my three children: Seka, Chani and little Derik. You'll find that Seka is the heir to my throne; I was thinking she could learn about Grealian politics and get some pointers from politicians if possible."
The three children of the King all looked up at the Vice President of Greal and simply smiled at him while their mother encircled them with her tender hands; she was madly devoted to making sure they grew up as happy and healthy individuals. "The children, I hope, will have suitable facilities prepared for them, Vice President, and perhaps we may have them get to see much of Greal while your nation's leaders are talking to my husband. It wouldn't be right to not give them something to do here."
As the family walked towards the motorcade that was behind the Vice President, Princess Seka looked at Frank Jackson and smiled at him. Her voice was like that of a truly refined woman; conditioned since birth to be ever-so-courteous. "Vice President, do you know if there are any places where people practice wielding swords? Back home, I often spend plenty of time practicing how to properly wield and use a sword. So far, I haven't seen a time to use my skills and I think that it'd be nice if I could get some practice here. If not, I don't mind. Just being here would compensate."
Getting into the limosuine, King Marek smiled at the Vice President after patting Seka a little on the head. "We had her enrolled in an academy back in Tagoria since she was quite interested in wielding a sword; the Royal Guard will often practice using swords since there may be a time in which they would require sharpened steel rather than hot lead. I assure you that she is perfectly capable of using a sword; she wouldn't cause herself to get injured due to being inept with one."
"Maybe while we are here, your daughter can see a Congress session in Sasha. It'll help newcomers to politics of Greal." Then he turned to the queen, "I assure you we have suitable facilities prepared for them, and there are many interesting sights for children to see in Greal, for example," Frank was pointing at the barely distance Bill Watson towers. As he spoke, the limousine now started to move and began heading down the super highway toward Sasha. APCs and a dozen police cars were escorting the limos. Nearby were maglev and light rail lines. The traffic was quiet today since the police cleared away most of the civilian cars to avoid delaying the royal visitors from arriving in Greal.

Marek smiled. "It would be nice for her to see a Congress session in Sasha if it is possible for her to see a session; we ought to let her and my other children see as much of Greal as possible during this visit. If we were back in Tagoria, my lovely daughter and heir to my throne would be back to her studies of literature and of the sword - she's a student at a royal academy dedicated to the art of wielding and using a sword. Swordsmanship is quite popular in my nation. There's plenty of schools with their own styles."
The Queen smiled at Frank while holding her youngest child to her - looking to see that Chani was looking out the window while Seka was talking to her husband. "What sights do you think would be good for the children to see? What are those towers used for, Vice President?"

"Here, swordsmanship is not illegal, buts its rare to see someone using swords unless they are fencing or something." said the Vice President to Marek. When the Queen asked what the towers were used for, "They're mainly office buildings, but the towers are also the symbols of Sasha." Meanwhile the motorcade began approaching the city, which looked enormous from the highway. "Sasha holds about ten percent of Greal's population or about 350 million people. That doesn't even count the suburbs." said Frank, quoting from a geography book he was reading a while ago.

Marek smiled. "Perhaps my daughter could enjoy a fencing lesson with some local talent? The sword she uses, though, would be quite different from that which fencers use but I am sure she would adapt well. I would also like to see as much as Sasha as is possible during this visit. Do you think the President would be avaliable for a meeting?"

"I'll contact the Greali Fencing Association, maybe they'll arrange it. Some of their best fencers are overseas in the World Cup of Fencing I hear, but I'm sure they'll arrange it. Did your daughter bring the sword? I'm not sure the President will be available. He's constantly busy and actually in the hospital for a checkup. There was an attempted assassination on him last week and he suffered several wounds." said Frank Jackson uneasily. The motorcade had exited the highway and began driving through the eight lane streets of Western Sasha, heading east. There were countless high rise buildings everywhere.

Seka nodded. "I brought my sword with me in case I would be able to get some practicing done during my visit to Greal. My sword is different from a fencing sword, though, but I think a fencing sword would not be problematic to wield. As for the President, I hope he gets well. If it's possible, I'll take a duel with a Greali fencer and hopefully I'll do good against him. I don't mind dueling men."

Before Frank could respond, the motorcade halted outside the eastern wing of the Presidential Office, where foreign guests normally stayed. GIA agents quickly assembled a "blockade" to prevent reporters from trying to ask questions. Frank explained as they left the cars that the media here was very independent but, the media seemed too free. They entered the Presidential Office eastern wing and there were Imperial Guards dressed in ceremonial uniforms guarding various areas in the building. "Excuse me I have to make phone call, on behalf of your daughter. Mr. Riddle here will show you to your rooms."

Will Riddle introduced himself very quickly and led them to their rooms. It was a very large room (http://www.dreamvietnamtravel.com/files/images/Victorial%20Can%20THo/VictorialCanThoSuite.jpg), with many rooms connected to the main living room."There will be Imperial Guards on duty at all times and there is a intercom for communication with servants." explained Will.
