[Secret IC]
"I still don't see why we need to change," Smith Armory shouted. "We've been wildly successful in our region; why not just sell the same stuff we do here?"
"We don't know what sells well, globally. We don't know what people need most, except around here. Your guns are fine for here, but there's not much else here - just the usual AKA-47s and NotM-16s," Mondo Advertising replied. "There's a lot more out there!"
"Fine. As long as it's not too expensive..."
[OOC]: So, what do people need or want most?

Confederacy of DC Tenders First International Offer!
Luis Aviation announces first offer beyond the homelands of the Confederacy, a $22 billion package of attack helicopters and fighters for Afulia...
"Why? Why did they do that? I wanted to start this off nice and controlled, and here Luis goes off half-cocked!" Mondo Advertising shouted.
[OOC]: See here (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14335845&postcount=34) for details on the package. Gives you a taste of the sorts of things I'm offering. I intend to develop weapons based around (or at least inspired by) failed weapons projects of the past.

(you might want to look at other peoples storefronts first)

(true, but I'm also interested in taking requests).
"Sorry, Mondo, but this was too good to pass up," Boris Rotorcraft said. "We had this design (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14335908&postcount=8) just waiting to be sold, and they wanted to buy."
"Dammit!" Mondo replied. "Well, there goes my planned smooth entry..."

So, what do people need or want most?
OCC: As, one among a select few of the leading defense storefront owners on nationstates, there's only three things you need to know to run a good maybe someday great storefront.
A Good Selection to choose from, Reasonable Prices and Good Service.
Do well or excel at two of those things and you'll have yourself an OK storefront.
Do well or excel at all three of those things and you'll have yourself a good if not great storefront.
Running a business is quite easy, running a successful business is not. I wish you the best of luck in your new endeavor. Trust me, your going to need it.

I'll take that into account
OOC: You know it's not too hard to actually come up with names for your RPs instead of just having corporations talk to each other.

OOC: These are people. They've taken on their corporations' names as part of their own names. It's a bit like Jennifer Government...

Unfortunately, the Confederacy of Defense Corporations is, by the terms of the agreements that formed it, required to maintain a controlling interest in its own affairs. Therefore, it is forbidden for individual members of the Confederacy to sell sufficient stock for such an acquisition to be made.
Furthermore, we resent the attack on our independence. The Confederacy is not a single, unified state; it is a healthy consortium of rival corporations, and we take pride in our decentralized system. We are no government, and loathe the thought of being such. Our existence as independent companies is our prima facia goal; we are nothing if we are bought out.
OOC: Buyout attempts rarely succeed on II. Especially when the target only RPs as the storefronts themselves.
