Emperor declares cease fire!
Thalent National Newspaper:
As many know the metropolis, Taylorville which is on the border of Thalent declared itself an independant nation 5 months ago. The local police there have been acting as a temporary militia and they have built a very tuff fortress. The Imperial Guard has tried several times to launch attacks on the fortress but have failed. Many lives are being lost on each side. Emperor Douben has been in contact with the leader of the "rebel" group and both sides have agreed that because it is the christmas season there will be a temporary cease fire. The emperor said that he is working to restore peace with the city that is seeking nationhood. Many citizens of the empire have said that they have seen an unsualy high amount of police presence in the major citys.

Asnland wishes to express its supreme delight at the Emperor of Thalent and the government of the breakaway country of Taylorville. It's the Christmas holidays, and such times should be filled with joy and cheer, not blood and death.
The Kingdom salutes both nations, especially the Emperor of Thalent for declaring such a ceasefire.

"Good afternoon everybody! We interupt your programing to bring you breaking news. It has only been a few days since the cease fire was declared between Taylorville and The Empire of Thalent but today Taylorville has surrendered. Apparently, there was a terrorist attack in Taylorville today, the capitol was bombed. The leader, Lord Anderson, was criticaly injured as well as several other high ranking officials. The hospitals that are in Taylorville are not equiped to treat the kind of injuries sustained in the blast. Taylorville agreed to surrender to Thalent if Emperor Douben promised they would receive medical care. Within minutes after the surrender the five officials were transported by helicopter to hospitals that could treat them. The Emperor has issued a decree that all officials, police officers and police officials that were responsible for seperating Taylorville from Thalent will be placed under house arrest until the Holiday Season is over and then a judge will decide if the people are guilty of treason, which means the death penalty. The Emperor has also said that he is allowing the accused to stay at home for the holidays because he thinks that everybody should be at home with their family at this time of year. Greetings,
There are aprox. 7 people that are facing charges serious enough for them to be considered for execution. We try to reserve execution for people who are too dangerous to the world to be kept alive. The seven people mentioned above are all members of the local law enforcement. They have all been accused of torturing prisoners that were in the local jail as well as people who did not do whatever they wanted. We have gathered a huge amount of evidence against them and we are still finding more.

By Imperial Decree I must inform you that your request for one prisoner has been granted. You have requested to receive a prisoner from the rebel group. The prisoner that has been selected for you is a 28 year old male. He was the leader of the police force. You should also make note that because the prisoner has been declared a hazard to human life that he will be microchipped and tracked at ALL TIMES! He IS NOT allowed to return to The Empire for ANY reason! If he is found in Thalent ever again he and anybody with him will be shot on scene. In addition, he may NOT be used for anything that is illegal in either of our contries. On a final note it will be considered an act of war on Thalent if he is torured by you or your army, police, officials, navy, airforce, ect. If these terms are acceptable to you then the prisoner will be taken to the border nearest to you where it will be your responsibility to transport him further.
