Official Diplomatic Communiqué - The World.
The Kingdom of Asnland bids your nation, regardless of politics, history or any other differences, greetings, as we establish our embassy program in the hopes of fathering diplomatic relations and other concerns with our fellow countries.
We are ruled by a Monarch, currently Queen Alexandra III. However, the majority of state power is in the hands of the Parliament, current headed by myself, Prime Minister Andrew Peterson. Our Parliament is democratically elected by the people of Asnland, and the government may stay in power for a maximum of five years.
Asnland was originally a part of England, and we share borders with England currently. Medieval Asnlanders fought for independence from the English, which was realised during the 1500s whenever the English, after many years of bloodshed, granted the Asnlander people total independence, and a monarchy was put in power to 'rally the people', which still exists today.
We are recognised by most modern states, though we know are striving to increase relations with our foreign counterparts, in an effort to assist Asnland and possibly the world.
Before any offers of membership for an alliance are made, please be aware that our population is small; the last census recorded 5 million people current call themselves Asnlandish. We have a small yet compulsory military, the Asnlander Armed Forces, which currently has 8,250 active servicemen and servicewomen. The Armed Forces is split between the Aslander Army, often seen as the 'main branch' of the Armed Forces, the Navy, the Air Force, the Commandos and the Security Agency.
In order to be granted an embassy in Asnland, you will have to follow the below rules. Such rules are in place to assure that embassies function properly, and cannot be changed.
List of Rules.
In the embassy, it is requested that no more than 30 regular staff are in place. This is in the effort to avoid embassy overcrowding.
It is humbly requested that your country brings, at a maximum, no more than 30 security staff are stationed in the embassy. High levels of security staff is frowned upon, though special exceptions can be arranged if your nation is at war.
As for weaponry, we have determined that nothing bigger than a H&K MP5 submachine gun should be in the embassy. Assault rifles, shotguns and other heavy weaponry are unrequited in a peaceful embassy, but please be aware that special exceptions can be made for nations at war.
Asnland recognises diplomatic immunity, to the point of killing a subject of Asnland. If a Asnlander subject is killed by your ambassador, regular staff or security staff, they will be trailed in a Asnlander court for murder, with a maximum of life in prison.

Hope Islands. The Hope Islands is a territory of Asnland, located just off the coast of Asnland and near France and the Netherlands, it is a quiet collection of moderately-sized islands, surrounded by forest.
Royal Row. The Royal Row is located in the green countryside of Asnland, with many farmers calling this place home. The Royal Family also reside here during spring and summer, and sometimes autumn.
