The world was given the oppurtunity to vote for Miroxia's final reformed government. They did. This vote decided Miroxia's fate. Miroxia has obtained its old ways as the second republic of Miroxia has taken over. Current President Marzipan Williams will finish her term and the next president will be sworn in in January. But now, Miroxia and the world get to vote on something else: the new president of Miroxia.

Candidates

Jerry Underwood, age: 37; Liberal Party- Jerry is a very Liberal person. His mentor was the former president himself, Hartford Benson. Being extremely Liberal, he supports gay marriage, abortion rights, higher taxes, universal healthcare, socialism, ect. He is strongly against war and will only go to war out of defense.

Terry Lawwood, age: 49; Miroxia's Blue Party- A pure Conservative at heart, Terry wishes to change Miroxia. After running the Miroxian colony, Adreani Miroxia, for 3 years, he is prepared to go one step further. He is out to give limited and very strict abortion right, is against gay marriage, and has a plan for Miroxian healthcare. He plans to lower taxes for everyone, but for those who need healthcare, he will raise their taxes and use the extra money to buy them their own personal healthcare. He is not afraid to go to war if freedom is at stake.

Achoffeiriad Peter I, age: 56; Deusist Party- Peter I, the first Archoffeiriad of the Miroxian Deusist Church, is the missing link...between church and state. Strictly anti-abortion, anti-gay marraige, and pro-prohibition, he will use his position in government to fund the Deusist Church and will turn Miroxia into a democratic theocracy. He is anti war and very conservative.

Randy Young, age: 42; Labor Party- Randy Young is the newly elected head of the Labor Party. He made a mere $2.50 an hour working for Mirox Motors and believes the working conditions are horrible. He is more for better work conditions in Miroxia and could care less about abortion and gay marriage, leaving such decisions to the local government. He is more in running so his voice is heard, and will hand the position of president to the second highest-voted candidate if he wins.

We are saddened at the fact Miroxia believes its people should have a right to vote, but we endorse Terry Lawwood, as he is, in our opinion, the least worst.

"Today, Liberal Candidate Jerry Underwood gave a speech in Roland after the 3 billionth Miroxian was born there. It was a girl, Sarah Grace Werst, the daughter of James Robert Werst and Lily Isabella Werst. Jerry gave the family two million rupees out of his campaign funds to celebrate her birth, taking Mr. Underwood ahead in the national polls for his good deed.

"Voting has concluded in several states and Blue Party Candidate Terry Lawwood has a 6% lead on the opposing Liberal Candidate. The BLue Party, since its founding, has grown incredibley fast and is planning to win its first election ever.

"Achoffeiriad Peter I has gotten the support of more then half of the Miroxian Deusists, but has yet to gain major support.

"Randy Young continues to voice his opinion in Miroxia has has about 13% of the vote now, but is still lacking support. Both Mr. Underwood and Mr. Lawwood have endorsed his better working standards policy and both plan to put his plan into effect if elected. Achoffeiriad Peter I has yet to comment on Mr. Young.

"Archoffeiriad Peter I has officially given his opinion about Randy Young in an interview at St. Roland's Cathedral in Port Durant earlier today. He has, in fact, declined any endorsement of better work conditions in Miroxia, claiming half of all Miroxian manufacturing companies will be legally shut down to, and I quote, "conserve the beauty of this Earth that our Father above so graciously gave us." End quote. He has shown favoritism towards Jerry Underwood, should he win, and claimed that he would support any government organization that worked for the environment.

"In other news, Stoklomolvi was the first nation to endorse Randy Young in his Labour Party campaign. Randy gave a speech in Miroxia City today, thanking Stoklomolvi for his endorsement and has donated the money donated by Stoklomolvi to the campaigns of Jerry Underwood and Terry Lawwood as thanks for endorsing his cause. Although he divided the money equally, Mr. Young has offcially endorsed Jerry Underwood as he believes he is more fit for the job.

"Despite the many national endorsement, Mr. Underwood not only trails in the international polls, but the national polls as well. Mr. Underwood took this into view at his latest speech site, Drance Town, and claimed that he would greatly except Mr. Young's endorsement and will work for better working conditions in Miroxian factories. To do this, he promised monthly inspections of all factories and to have improvments added if needed.

"Blue Party Candidate Terry Lawwood released his official Vice Presidential Candidate today, being the first candidate of this election to do so. It was a shock to the entire nation, the pick being former High Councilor Durant Adams himself. Adams, who's past is unknown after leaving office, came out of hiding at a rally in Kelmont Creek today when Terry Lawwood announced to a crowd of 50,000 people this historical choice. Adams and Lawwood gave a speech together after this announcement.

"Two more states have concluded voting and the results will appear shortly. Thanks for watching Channel 8 News. I'm Rick Johnson, saying to tune in tomorrow as one state shall finish voting by noon tomorrow. Goodnight, Miroxia, and Merry Christmas..."

Archoffeiriad Peter I chose Priest James Maws of the Drance Town Deusist Church as his Vice Presidential candidate. Finally, Jerry Underwood has also made a historical choice, also picking a former High Councilor, Hartford Benson. _____After looking over not only the updated election results, but the entirety of the candidates platforms for this Historic Election within the Nation of Miroxia, the Shazbotdom Elections Commitee dispatched a letter to the Supreme Emperor with our suggestions andother usful information. It took only an hour for him to get back to us with a reply after discussing it with the Ministers as well as other governmental officials and several key leaders of the Shazbotdom Imperial Parliament.

_____The Shazbotdom Empire has thus come to the conclusion that our endorcement for this Presidential Election int the Naiton of Miroxia shall go to no one. We do not feel that the Four Candidates listed hold views that are in the best interest of the shakey alliance that has existed between the Shazbotdom Empire and the Nation of Miroxia.

_____With the Election being so close, the Superme Emperor has gone on record as stating that he is worried if the Election will go to Terry Lawwood. He also went on to say that if it looks to us here in the Empire that it does go to that individual, Military Presence within the Shazbotdom Colony of Shazbotdom Miroxia will increase to ensure that our Soverign Terroitory is not threatened by Mr. Lawwood.
