Nakatomi and his second in command, Aya were on horse back, riding through the countryside. His escort was about one hundred and fifty well armed soldiers also on horseback. They were touring Nakatomi's land, since he was one of the lords. However, it was bordering some other unknown clans. And there would be disputes over who owned the land. Though very few people lived on it, Nakatomi was determined to rid any other "foreigners". That included. His men had already driven off a few farmers, but who knows what is up ahead.

OOC: Essentially, they would try to drive off anyone on their "land". And Nakatomi's claims stretch into other clan lands, so he's picking a fight.

OOC: Yeah, Kitsunes' time to shine

A group of about 50 Kitsune had been camping in the hills of the land of Nakatomi. They were all armed with Yumi long-bows which they had made recently.
Currently, they were all in a semi-human form.

The sentry came into camp.
"Humans to the southeast."

The sentry came into camp.
"Humans to the southeast."

"Kitsune. About forty to fifty of them." said Aya.

"Are they armed?" asked Nakatomi

"Yes."

"Approach them cautiously. I do not want a fight unless were really need to."

The one hundred and fifty soldiers followed Nakatomi going toward the Kitsune camp, showing no signs of attacking. Aya moved ahead of the group, approaching the camp first.

With a motion, Otoko sent most of his force into defensive positions behind hillocks and in trees, where they strung their bows.
