The Federation of Merkonia is accepting Embassy applications from foreign nations. We pride ourselves in our international aide capabilities and global economic reformations. Merkonia is a peaceful nation and is fully supportive of our economic allies. We currently have three cities within Merkonia that are constructing embassy lots.

Merkingrad: The capital city of Merkonia, Merkingrad's history can be traced back to 1694 when catholic settlers first moved to these lands. Within 40 years Merkingrad had become a sprawling farm and cattle town under the newly independent state 'The Holy Empire of Merkonia'. In the early 1900's oil was found around the region bringing mass wealth to the city, by the 1940's a large secular movement was taking place. In 1964 an eight year bloody civil war between the Secularist Republican Army and The Holy Empire of Merkonia left much of the city in ruins. After the Secularist victory in the war the city was reconstructed promoting free market enterprise and freedom from oppression. Towering sky scrapers can be seen within the Financial and Congressional Districts; serene parks, museums and military figure statues are numerous along Liberty Avenue.

Psychlum: Without a doubt Psychlum is the scientific and medical center of Merkonia. Founded in the early 1900's as a near-port oil hub it quickly sprawled into 'The Holy Empire of Merkonias' fastest growing metropolitan area. Priding itself in its elaborate university Psychlum became Merkonia's most liberal city, spawning the Secularist movement. With a population of 11.78 million citizens, 620,000 of which are university students, Psychlum is Merkonia's most densely populated urban center. Three locations are available and/or are being constructed within Psychlum. The University Boulevard location is ground zero for Merkonia's scientific community, the most brilliant minds from around the country live here and spread their knowledge with students from all nationalities. The next location is the Psychlum Medical District, a large medically advanced community that prides itself in its stem-cell breakthroughs and Merkonian Maritime International Aide Association(MMIAA) trainee's. The final location is the Commercial/Port District, this district is by-far the capitalist center of Merkonia; largely supported by Merkonia's budding corporation 'Komanding Inc.' this area accommodates four out of Merkonia's top five highest buildings.

Derstadt: Merkonia's fourth largest city, Derstadt started as a river basin trading city in the 1760's. After slow commercialization of the northern territory in its early days, modern progress led Derstadt to become known for its mass farming community and ecologically friendly ways. Now with a population of 834,000 Derstadt has turned into the food marketing capital and modern arts capital of Merkonia. Derstadt is currently being favored in the national spotlight for an upcoming space program. Unfortunately because of its reasonably small population Derstadt has only two available embassies which are on Louis Horffan Avenue, located within the Arts District.
