I'm interested. I wouldn't mind taking on the role of a small band of people, almost nomadic people. I don't think I could handle controlling an entire clan or feudal kingdom. What kind of creatures are we talking about? Is there a mix? Are there both good and evil creatures? Do the interact with people other than fighting them?

As for what kind of creatures, pretty much anything you like, as I said, as long as it fits in with the setting and doesn't break the universal 'no godmodding' rule.
And yes, it would be acceptable to have both good and evil creatures, and to have both of them interact with people in ways other than fighting.

The small tribe are known as Masumi tribe and live with the land. They move during the seasons to find sources of food and water. They have lived like this for thousands of years. They usually live outside the traditional Japanese culture and do not learn much about the world outside their own needs. However word has reached them of the Emperor's death and now the world is dangerous for people like them, making movement difficult when so much fighting occurs. They also have feelings that things are right with the world, though they haven't seen anything, they feel a presence.

Tribe size: A total of 40 people.

The Yuzo Ninja Clan
Leader: Ryo Yuzo
Clan size: 200
Clan abilities: Master spies, and assassins. They also have mastered the art of shadow magic..
Bio: The Yuzo Ninja clan is a small clan of assassins and spies that work for the highest bidder. They tend to work for powerful nobles that need a “special” touch in dealing with their enemies. The clans Ninjas have recently learned how to use this time of awakening to achieve the ability to control shadows making them into weapons and armor and evening hiding into their own generated darkness.
