Dear sir/ma'am,

As you may have heard, the Belasaladani Emirate has erupted in chaos, after riots against joining Qaitia, after their economy collasped.

The Belasaladan nation and Qaitia have always been close allies, dating back to the Crusades. We fought together against the nations who were invading the Arab world, and we have remained allies ever since.

Recently, the Belasaladani economy collasped and the nation went bankrupt. My nation, Qaitia, offered them a unique chance; to become an emirate of Qaitia, yet maintain complete control over all internal and some foreign affairs. The Belasaladani Emirate would last until the people of the nation deemed itself ready to enter the world again, restart it's economy and become a nation once more.

However, several violent riots have been occuring in the region; over one thousand people have died, most of them innocents. The Qaitian Armed Forces have sent two Mechanized Divisions into Belasaladan, in an attempt to peacekeep the area.

Now, we have unconfirmed reports that a militant group by the name of the 'Movement for Belasaladani Independence', the MBI, have been formed and are starting to attack the locals and the Qaitian peacekeepers in the area.

We simply request your nation's help in this crisis, before it gets out of hand and develops into a Qaitian Palestine.

Yours Sincerly,
Defence Minister Khaled Bin Mohammed.

***

About twelve hours away from Saldir, five young men were patrolling a small part of Belasaladan, armed to the teeth and a fire burning in their hearts.

All nations have fucked up regions. The Russians had Chechyna. The Israelis had Palestine. But it quite new to the Qaitian Armed Forces to be stationed in a former nation which had joined Qaitia, to be released after they recovered from some shit.

"Well, here we go," muttered Private Khali Al-Fulani. "This hellhole could become our West Bank."

"Of course it could," replied Sergeant Hassam Al-Fahim. "That's the whole point. At least we will have something to shot."

Private Fahim Bin Fahim rolled his eyes at the general pessimistic Khali, then continued walking. He checked his AK-47 was still fully loaded, while his green uniform was being battered by the wind.

"Hold on, what is that?" asked Khali, pointing down at a small, dark spot in the desert below the sandune they were walking on.

"A child's body," wondered Sergent Al-Fahim, startring to walk carefully downward.

About five minutes later, Bin Fahim gasped. It was a small boy, probably about 5-years-old, screaming in pain, as blood bursted out of his back.

"Holy-" gasped the Sergeant, before the sound of a machine gun ripped through the air.

Hidden all that time were militants. They had been covered in sand, they're AK-47s not visible. They were all standing up now, aiming at the soldiers and one at the child.

"For Belasaladan!" shouted one of them, his face wrapped in a balaclava.

Instantly, they all opened fire, with AK-47s and RPGs, all directed at the young squad.

They were the first five deaths of the Belasaladani Crisis. Many more would follow.

Dear sir,

The Empire can spare Port Fulani, located in Belasaladan, for any Chazakan Armed Forces arrivals in Belasaladan. It is a large port, with a healthy population, most of whom are involved in the shipping business, in one way or another.

Port Fulani is about seven hours from the Belasaladani capital city, Ridanna.

"Check your belts and check the man in front of you!" shouted Rathma over the rumbling of the C-370's engines. "We'll be jumping about a kilometre from the nearest city. We've got orders to maintain order in these parts,"

"Just like last time eh sir?" laughed Longshanks as he made Rathma remembered their last riot deployment.

"Except this time those rioters are going to be facing a bloodthirsty regirement!" shouted Rathma as the hull doors opened as they came over the drop zone. "Everyone is to re-group once we hit the ground!"

The Lynion Assassin's out of a number of C-370's started to drop out of the sky. The parachutes match the colour of the sky as the Assassin's decended slowly to the ground. They went without combat vehicles this time as they were going to strictly depend on themselves rather than the vehicles. Rathma was the first on the ground as he rallied the companies and started to spy on the city below them.

Abdullah Al-Fulan's eyes blinked open, the rays of the sun stinging his eyes. There was a blood pool forming slowly in front of him, and his fellow soldiers were all in front of him, lying on the ground.

Two masked were standing in front of the slumped group, reloading an AK-47. They started firing at Abdullah's comrades, killing them all with a magizine for them all.

The men, after shooting the soldiers, walked away, basking in the certain glory they felt after shooting the imperialist infidel scum.

Abdullah, for no particular reason, started crawling forward. He could see a sniper rifle just beside his friend Mohammed's bloody corpse, but he felt a stinging pain in his right leg.

Suddenly, several figures landed on the ground. Paratroopers. The government hadn't forgotten him.

"Help..." panted Abdullah, a blood pool forming around his body.

The Telrosian Empire has heard the call of the struggling nation of Qaitia, and we understand the plight you are going through. We are not in much of a state to do anything resembling large commitment, due to the military going through a restoration project right now. However, we can send peacekeeping forces in to aid you in your quest to pacify the region. We would like to know what kind of air, naval, and ground forces you require to accomplish this and we will do our best to supply them.

Also, we warn the nation of Miroxia that we will not tolerate aid given to terrorists in the Belasaladani region. The people have the right to protest, but killing innocent soldiers and citizens is the wrong way to go. They are criminals and they must be stopped. The Empire will always help those whom are under siege by terrorism and any whom seek to aid them will face our displeasure. I advise you pull back that offer and do not aid the killing of innocents.

We think we know what we are doing. The Miroxians wish to free the Belasaladani peoples from Qaitia. They were independent before, and I feel that if they want their independence back, gosh darnit, they're gonna get it.

Miroxian Embassy, Qaitia
Sunday 8:35 am

George Trenton was an ordinary armed official. He held a small pistol with him at all times, and if needed, he had a rifle somewhere in the embassy. He looked up at the TV that displayed a message about the ongoing Belasaladani Crisis. He scoffed. "If they gave them what they wanted, they could easily avoid this bull." He just rolled his eyes and took a bite out of the naan set on the plate before him. He took a cool swig of milk before throwing the remains away. "If it's independence they want," he said, walking to the garage of the embassy where a standard Mirox Motors pick-up truck sat, "so shall it be." He slammed the door and peered over to where his assult rifle set. Buckling up, he opened the door remotely and head towards Belasaladani territory: Ridanna.

"(Move up and keep a distance!)" signalled Rathma as he stalked the plains quietly.

"(I see a number of men retreating!)" signalled Longshanks as he pointed it out to Rathma.

"(Hold your fire and let them go. Wounded man in the open!)" signalled Rathma as he carefully stalked the grass while the others hid themselves and were prepared to give Rathma cover should they require it.

Rathma swept through the tall grass like a snake as he came across the wounded body. He placed his hand over the man's mouth as he carefully moved the body back to the others. Rathma wasn't going to talk to the man until they were cleared of the enemy. They eventually arrived back at their primary post as a medic came along and started to see too his wound.

"Don't worry soldier, we're friendlies," started the medic as he kept his head down.

"Who were the men that left you for dead?" Rathma asked.

Ridanna, Qaitian-occupied Belasaladan
Sunday, 12:46 pm

George Trenton's truck crawled along the sandy streets of the crowded bazaar streets. He smiled as he saw a glimpse of Belasaladani protesters. "Perfect." Now he was looking for anything remotely close to a capital-like building. He found a quick opening in the bazaar streets and put pressure on the gas. His tires whirled around before kicking up dust and rock and taking off in the semi-clear streets. "Belasaladani independence. If all else fails, Miroxian-Qaitian relations are meaningless. Qaitian conquest; Belasaladani independence." George sang like that the whole way down the dusty, Arabian roads of Qaitia...Belasaladan.

As for Miroxia, we are warning them to stop this. Belasaladan requested to join with Qaitia for a period of time, after their economy collasped and the nation went bankrupt.

Ground forces anf some air forces are required.

Dear sir,

The Qaitian and Belasaladani peoples warn you of your support of organizations like the MBI in Belasaladan. Belasaladan requested, after an economic collaspe, to join with Qaitia (yet still have control over most Belasaladani affairs). Terrorists organizations have been established, which is on no grounds assisting the Belasaladani economic situation.

We merely request you halt any involvement with the Movement for Belasaladani Independence, and let the peacekeeping forces from my country and other countries do their job.

The majority of the Belasaladani populace support union with Qaitia for a short space of time. This was proved whenever Belasaladan ran democratic and free votes to determine if the union with Qaitia should be formed. I will leave you with that.

-With our proximity to your location (OOC: Paasee makes up much of Libya) we can send tanks and equipment through the Mediterranean Sea along with troops to the trouble spot

-We can paradrop the Paasee Al Qare into the trouble zones to assist in "pacification"

-We can offer military, financial, and medical aide to your nation

-We can stay out of this incident altogether and watch what happens

Please respond as soon as possible to this request. As a new nation built on war, we have seen our share of tragedy. Now we are willing to use war to create peace.

I apologize about the misunderstanding. We thought that the Belasaldani people craved independence and wish not to support these terrorists. Where may we land our incoming troops?

**********

Ridanna, Qaitia
Monday, 8:45 am

George never found a capital like building. Well, actually he was told that the Belasaladani people were terrorists; no matter. He was given a mission...by his father, a lowly terrorist supporter. After convincing King Williams to help MBI, he was given the mission to lead the troops in battle. His father, the son of a Miroxian man and his Belasaldani wife, was a mix who married a Belasaladani women who also supported the terrorists. Now it was his choice: convince a small legion of troops to follow him, or just join Belasaladan. He smiled as he finished his cold naan. "Miroxian troops will believe anything they hear."
