Red Talons

Far out in deep space, hundreds of thousands of light years away from the milky way. The black moon known as Home floated, surrounded by hundreds of sleek black ships.
On the bridge of the Ragnarok class dreadnought, the Aeris. Stood X, regarding a report that a new individual had arisen within the talons. Someone Roze had personally approved. X closed the window onscreen with the report and left the bridge, entering the turbolift that would take him to the briefing room.
He was running over the womans file on his visual hud. He stepped into the briefing room from the turbolift the first thing he realized was that the lights were off.
"Computer, lights." He said, pausing as the room remained black. He flipped on his thermal scanner and saw nothing... no room, no walls. He blinked. His reptilian body tensing slightly as he reached for his sidearm. His motion-sensor radar showing nothing in the room.
Suddenly, he heard a voice coming from the other side of the room. "I am Talindrah Illystryn. Shadow Master." The voice was feminine.
X paused, this was the woman he was intending to meet. The new leader of the Black fleet. "What have you done..." He said flatly.
his motion sensor remained blank, and suddenly the voice came from behind him. "Master of the shadow arts of the great Shar." There was a pause. "I am here for our meeting."
With that, suddenly the room was lit, his thermal vision was shining brightly in his eyes. He flipped it off, he gazed upon what looked like a female figure clad in flowing black knights armor. Tendrils of black flicking off the armor every now and then, as if it was made of darkness and wanted to swallow the light around it.
X cocked an eyebrow. "Welcome aboard the Aeris. I was told your shuttle wouldnt arrive for another hour." The female voice replied with a hint of amusement. "I decided to come early. I hope that isnt a problem?" She said. X nodded. "You came prepared for a fight i see?" He said flatly, gesturing to her. The woman nodded, the armor dissolving away like mist in the sun, revealing sleek skin as dark as night. Hair down to her waist as white as the fallen snow. SHe was what some peopme knew as the Drow.
She carried no weapons, and wore a black leather outfit. a black robe flowing from her shoulders. "Reporting for duty, sir." She said with a plastic smile.
X nodded. "You will be given command of the Anubis class dreadnought Nightfall. which is deploying as we speak from Home. You have standing orders to join the Black fleet in deep space.
Talindrah nodded. "Understood, and i may pay you a visit tonight." She said with a wry smile before fading away as her armor had. Her body dissolving into shadows and fading away.
